First, I want to note that the gentleman at the front was extremely friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. However, the actual service left me quite disappointed. I requested a short ballerina shape and even showed an image. Despite asking several times to have them shorter, the technician seemed frustrated and didn't cut them down further. When shaping, so much was taken off the sides that the nails ended up in a true coffin shape instead of what I asked for. Unfortunately, she had already cut them before checking with me, so there wasn't much that could be done without starting over. For the ombré, the first color applied didn't blend well with the base. I asked to switch it after one nail, but the technician seemed visibly frustrated. The end result is a set of long coffin nails that are not the style I wanted. In addition, I feel the technician should be more approachable and friendly so customers feel comfortable communicating what they want. As a service provider, it's important that clients can clearly express their preferences and feel heard, especially at this price point. For $120 and an hour and a half of time, I expected to leave satisfied. Instead, I left unhappy with the results and am now considering going elsewhere to have them fixed.

UPDATE: I returned for a fill-in and as noted before was greeted and sat right away after initial washing of hands. I had a different nail tech this time and had a great experience, did my cuticles and brushed cuticle oil on them. Have not quite decided if this will be my go to place yet. It felt great and the ten minute massage was included. The massage was decent. The sugar scrub on my feet and legs also felt great. The ombre dip manicure came out different than what I was used to. However, I love that my manicurist took her time and made sure each application was applied properly. No UV light was used. That was a bonus. She applied the white dip powder first and then the pink. It came out a bit brighter than what I've experienced at other nail salons. The other assistants marveled over the outcome of my nails. All in all, my manicurist did a good job. I'm getting used to the finished product. The establishment is clean and the staff is friendly. I received a shoulder massages as my nails dried and I was given a rewards card, too. The person who did my eyebrow waxing kept arguing with me and having it back-and-forth on how much hair I want to takeoff and how thin I wanted them which really was not her place. I told her if she just was not comfortable with it then I could get someone else but she wanted to do it...she did complete the service. However, she ended up burning my eyelid, even after I told her that the wax was way too hot. I think it was a mix of her rubbing different types of treatments and liquids on my eyebrow and then waxing the same area multiple times with very hot wax. I get my eyebrows waxed every three weeks for the last 10 to 15 years and it's very easy for me to tell when the wax is too warm and obviously when your eyebrows are wax, your skin is red, but I could tell that the skin was just much more red. I did reach out to the Front Desk staff but nothing was done. I then tried calling multiple times, but to this day, I have never gotten a call back. And I honestly don't think I should have to reach out multiple times just for them to call me back. So while it does have very low prices and it's a beautiful salon I just had a negative experience that was not handled correctly so I really cannot recommend it. There are many salons in the area even within a one minute drive so I would recommend going to those locations over this one.

They said starting cost of the design was $5, but I don't think they should have charged me so much for the line on my big toes. When I asked the nail technician to redo one of them, she wasn't too happy about it but did it anyways. I get my nails done twice a year so I want them to look nice. I also got the dip powder manicure and that was $50. The total before tip was $85. I was planning to use this $5 off coupon when I checked into Yelp but they said they have nothing to do with Yelp and they will not honor it. That was a let down. They should talk to Yelp and take that down so it's not misleading. I gave her a nice tip because she was patient with me. Overall, she did a pretty good job. Would I visit them again? I'm not sure. They were a little pricey. I may check other nail salons in the area before going back.
