We were set to buy again from Keystone Volvo, but I called Faulkner to check on price. Andrew Murzda, a 30-year-old, near 10-year sales veteran (!?) at Faulkner asked a few questions and gave is a highly competitive price. Keystone matched it for a demo car. The next day, Andrew called me to offer another $1000 off to a price about $1500 below the Consumer Report national average for recent purchases of the same car We paid a $2500 deposit. A few days later, Andrew delivered the car to our home 30 miles from the dealership. He showed us how to use it, completed the purchase paperwork on our dining room table, and left us with a new license plate. Andrew took back with him a tire left over from our previous Volvo and offered to help us any time with questions on operating the car. Faulkner did not ask us to write this review. I also told them I have a leak in my wiper fluid line (froze over the winter). Good: they were fine when I said I just did my own cabin filter and I did just have to put in a new 12v battery myself. They were friendly enough and the facilities are nice. Bad: There wasn't really any follow up on the maintenance. I had to ask a bunch of question like is my HV battery okay, any defective cells? ("Yep it's fine" was the answer). I got a survey afterwards asking if I got any video footage of the repairs/maintenance so I'm not sure if I was supposed to or not? I was quoted $3k to fix the trunk because they said they would have to break the backup camera in order to acces the latch. Seems weird since you can clearly take out the panels in the trunk while the door is closed and access the latch there. They said my wiper fluid line was fine. Once I drove off, I tested it out and it was still leaking (leaking on my foot while on the pedal!) This is a very obvious leak, but somehow the mechanics missed it? They simple wrote on the paper work that the "wiper fluid was working". Well yeah I'm able to spray it, but the problem is it's leaking INTO the cabin. So I had to bring the car back and the woman was nice enough, said she would bring it back to the mechanic to look at. Bad news: apparently it would be $400-$1000 to fix because they "don't know where the leak is" and may have to take the entire dashboard out. So you would think they would check if the leak were somewhere super accessible right? If the leak were there, then they could tell me and it would be on the lower end of the quoted cost. If they couldn't see the leak in the accessible spot, then they could conclude that they probably have to remove the dash and then it would cost on the upper end of the quote. Nope, they just told me and sent me on my way. And worst of all, when I went to pay for the maintenance, I was told they would charge me 2% to use a credit card! NEVER in my life have I ever heard of a car dealership nickel and diming customers for a credit card. And that's on hundreds, possibly thousands of dollars of service! Some way to treat customers right? So I had to move some money into a checking account like a goon just so I could avoid a 2% fee. A good way to make your customer feel like a moron. When VW advisors texted me asking me to fill out a survey, I told them my concern with the credit card and they simply responded "It's company policy. Credit cards cost us 6% plus to process. We try to keep the processing fee as low as possible. It prevents us from having to raise all of prices." Excuse me?! Since when were card processing costs my problem as a customer at a car dealership?! Simply obscene. I clarified whether this was VW company-wide policy or just that dealership and they said it was just them. So I guess that makes my decision for me: won't be going back there!

Not only did they install a snorkel, they smoke tested it and made sure it was sealed. Not only did they weld sliders and a bumper, but the welds were works of art...and a lot of thought went into the depth and angles to get over rocks, the smoothingnof transitions and fit/finish, etc. They even cleaned up the frame rust and sealed it "because it bothered them to leave it like that", as in, for free, because it meant the end result was better. They installed a full set of skidplates, and also checked the articulation, extended breathers and other lines, repaired cracked fittings and other things "while they were under there" They installed both forward and rear spotting cameras, replaced the heater core, etc. A LOT of work... with updates as they went. Dan is a delight to work with. I cannot recommend Hurreys enough, they are AMAZING!

They always make sure to check in if the price of your repair is high and give you options so in case you don't have to do everything at once then you can space it out. As a woman, I hate going into car shops and feeling like I'm going to be spoken down to or taken advantage of, thankfully I have NEVER had that experience here. I dropped the car off in the morning, it was running fine (I had just driven it to Baltimore and back four weeks in a row). At 4:00 when I hadn't heard from him that it was done (he indicated it would be done by 6:00) I called to see the progress. He told me he was looking to adjust the idle which I told him I didn't want him to do (the car was running fine for the last 70,000 miles which I drove it). I had a rental car so I was in no hurry to get the vehicle. I called Friday to see if the car was done. He (John) indicated the car was done and he had called and left message. He did not, I have not messages on home phone or my cell phone. (First lie). When I went to pick up my car, I paid. I left and the car had no power (acceleration and stalled). When I immediately took the car back to tell him his attitude was like he couldn't care less. He said he did not adjust the idle or anything else that would affect the car's performance. The leak has been fixed but now the car is not drivable. When I asked him to fix it he claimed it had come in that way. (Second lie). It had not. I now have to take my car to my other mechanic to see if he can undo what his shop has done. I hope it can be fixed. I don't recommend anyone ever use his shop for repairs.

I was towed to a shady place in Moorestown and Liberty helped me cut through the red tape to get the car in the shop ASAP.
