We have been taking our cars here for the last 7 years that we have been in Morrisville and find them to be some of the most honest and thoughtful mechanics. They will always make room for your car and you can drop it off and just come pick it up at the end of the day with no issues. They always make sure to check in if the price of your repair is high and give you options so in case you don't have to do everything at once then you can space it out. They also provide their services at reasonable prices. As a woman, I hate going into car shops and feeling like I'm going to be spoken down to or taken advantage of, thankfully I have NEVER had that experience here. I took my car to John's Auto after my car was leaking anti-freeze. All I did was ask him to replace the hoses that were leaking. I dropped the car off in the morning, it was running fine (I had just driven it to Baltimore and back four weeks in a row). At 4:00 when I hadn't heard from him that it was done (he indicated it would be done by 6:00) I called to see the progress. He told me he was looking to adjust the idle which I told him I didn't want him to do (the car was running fine for the last 70,000 miles which I drove it). I had a rental car so I was in no hurry to get the vehicle. I called Friday to see if the car was done. He (John) indicated the car was done and he had called and left message. He did not, I have not messages on home phone or my cell phone. (First lie). When I went to pick up my car, I paid. I left and the car had no power (acceleration and stalled). When I immediately took the car back to tell him his attitude was like he couldn't care less. He said he did not adjust the idle or anything else that would affect the car's performance. The leak has been fixed but now the car is not drivable. When I asked him to fix it he claimed it had come in that way. (Second lie). It had not. I now have to take my car to my other mechanic to see if he can undo what his shop has done. I hope it can be fixed. I don't recommend anyone ever use his shop for repairs. read more

Having moved to Morrisville about a year ago, we used John's for our inspections. However, I did not use them for auto repair work as we had a mechanic we used for years. But, my AC stopped working and I decided to give them a try and I could not be happier! Since I have a older 2000 Chevy Silverado, I thought the compressor went and if they had told me that's what it was, I would have believed them. I was pleasantly surprised when Gus called me and told me that he thinks it may just be the belt and will take it from there. Turns out it was only a belt and tensioner and some Freon, and cost much less than I expected, especially if it was the compressor. They are honest guys that did good work. They kept the car overnight for me and I picked it up in the morning. I met Blaine who did the work on the car and thanked him with a gift card to Dunkin Donuts next door. He was very appreciative. I have taken my car to John's for decades, and I trust them more than I do my dealer's shop. They have always been honest with me and are completely trustworthy. Their mechanics are A-1 and are willing to take their time to discuss what any problems there are with the car and to explain the repairs and what I can do to keep the car in good shape. My wife had a 1996 Camry that ran for almost 200 thousand miles, thanks to them. and we just sold it recently. My last car was the long trip Avalon and that one also went almost 200 thousand miles before I traded it in for a new Azera. This one has almost 87,000 miles and runs as good as new.
