That included the time for the parts guy to deliver my parts. Has rear stabilizer bar bushings replaced due to excessive play and clunky noise. You'd expect that when you purchase something so expensive, and bring it to a pretty high end exhaust shop, you would get service that is appropriate to the price. These guys essentially destroyed the y-pipe and my stock catalytic converters by welding them together instead of taking the harder (but paid for job) and mounting them together by the flanges. after they are finished with this pathetic work they call high quality, they charged me $550. not only that, they took the gaskets I had provided them with, not a huge deal but always scheming for just a bit more right? Say goodbye to the resale or reusability value of my 400$ ypipe and $1000 cats. Welding might have been okay if it was mentioned and confirmed by me before doing it but they just went right ahead without my consent. I will never be coming back and will recommend EVERYONE I know to never set foot in your "store". If you want exhaust work done, do not come here. So many places will do it cheaper and properly. My family has been going to Hide Auto Centre since I can remember. His specialty is Japanese cars (honda and toyota), but Hide Auto Centre also fixes european and american cars. Hide is an extremely nice man and very trusting. He never "overcharges" for ghost fees or tries to upsell you to do fix something random with your car. One thing that I really appreciate is that he always goes over the entire bill with you. He also will explain to you exactly what happened with the car--sometimes bringing you the broken piece--so you know what he's fixing. When you first walk into his small store-front, keep in mind that his waiting area is not a nice frily waiting area of an overpriced dealership repair shop, filled with a cappucino maker and an endless supply of day-old donuts. Remeber that you're paying to have your car fixed, not to be entertained while you wait. The waiting area is small, with only a few chairs. There's coffee available and a small tv to entertain yourself. It's probably a good idea to bring a book to read if you're going to wait.
