Needed to print custom place cards for a large event. They were super helpful, fast, and I loved the cards. Also very reasonably priced!

I needed to color-print some pages from a PDF, so I called UPS first and got a drawn-out rookie response, pretty annoyingly uninformed, so when I next called Print Smith I was relieved to be in good hands. The gentleman on the phone told me I could bring in my document on a thumb drive or email it to them or upload it directly, and said that when I came in to the store we could consult on paper quality and price points. Great! I went straightaway and was helped by a lovely gal who was very understanding when I had to tell her how to sort through the many files on my thumb drive to find the correct two to print. She went to the back of the store to do the print job, and returned a couple times to consult: once to give me the total price (something like $0.75 per page, on heavy-duty, slightly shiny paper) and again when I reconsidered and asked to print only a smaller portion of my document. All with a smile. Besides, I love that this store is so community-oriented that both walls are lined with watercolors by a local artist (for sale, should you be interested) (the art, not the artist), and the gorgeous greeting cards (3 for $10) are by a handful of other local and very talented artists. When I was unemployed, they were easy to use. Made my resume, and did a good job. Used them many times usually with good outcome.. Unfortunately, Now that I'm working 8-5PM, I find there only open when I'm at work. I live near them, so I'd prefer to use them, but they closed. Closed on the weekends, too? I asked for the manager. She was curt, and somewhat unpleasant, especially, when I suggested they should be open till 6PM... Bottom line, they forced me to use someone else, not a good way to stay in business... Worst place I ever had my business cards printed! The first time I went they told me to send a PDF file and I old pick them up in a couple of days, when I went back the girl gave me my cards with only pone side printed (when I had given her a file for two color sided), she accused me of not sending the other side or wrong file, when I send her to double check she noticed she had messed up, but blamed it on someone else; didn't even aologize. I come back again to get my cards with both sides printed and the colors were completely off! Another lady said it was my fault! This is the same file I've used for other printing offices and have always been consistent even through different print businesses. They made me feel like it was my mistake twice! blamed it on their coworkers and didn't even apologize! Worst customer service! read more

I have now used Print Smith perhaps 6 times for a series of small projects. This is about as stress-free an operation as you could wish for. The employees are always lucid, clear thinking, and both knowledgeable and friendly. I recently took an old hand written recipe book into Print Smith to have copies made. Sam was helping me figure out the best way to take apart the original and make the new copies that would not only be stronger in the binding but also be exactly what I wanted. Kim, the owner was nearby and overheard our discussion and with a smile brought out to show me a hand written cookbook from her grandmother that she had preserved, such a thoughtful thing to do. my professor has chosen Print Smith as THE place to have our (out of print) text printed. (several professors choose to have Print Smith individually publish our texts) the woman who greeted me at the door was very friendly, until i told her i was there to pick up a copy of our book. immediately her demeanor changed & she was very rude & made it completely clear that she knows i have no other choices. after feeling so completely disrespected, i decided to buy a beat-up 1996 original pressing off Amazon. usually i am VERY particular about shopping locally, but today i feel that the extra $10 i spent online was worth my self respect. . a computer screen can't give me that look an 8year old gets from her mom when she asks for dessert before eating dinner. when i get to class today i will be sure to announce to my classmates that i wrote this review. read more

I was at my nearby vacation home working on my laptop when I realized I needed to print some documents and did not have a printer. I used Yelp to locate a "copy center" as I was not familiar with where to go. Several places came up but I liked that this place was a small "mom and pop" shop. I got excellent service from Jasmine!! She promptly answered the phone, told me to email my documents to her and she would print them in minutes. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and worked quick. The price was right too!
