I just needed to get rid off an old guest mattress. Fred's website was extremely easy to use to book my appointment. I chose a date, time, and left my mattress off to the side in the driveway. You have the option of taking a photo of the item(s) you are planning to get rid of. The day of the appointment, I messaged Fred to ask him if he needed me to be awake for the pickup. I had just worked a 12 hour shift the previous night and was exhausted. He replied very quickly to my text. He was prompt in his reply, friendly and he assured me he would take care of it and be as quiet as possible. I thanked him and arranged payment. I contacted them and within 24 hours, they were out at our place giving us a quote and then hauling everything away on the spot. We paid $349 for 2 truckloads (like a large pick-up truck, not one of their trucks) worth of stuff to be hauled away. It seemed like a lot of money, but it was so worth it for the convenience of not having to make multiple trips to the dump. If we were to have it done it ourselves, it would have cost us at least $100 in disposal fees. On top of that, the 2-person team who came out were very polite and got the job done quickly. Just a heads up-- if you are paying by credit/debit, you can add a tip if you don't have any cash lying around.
