I've been coming to this great establishment for 15 or 20 years and I've never left a review but after the service I received yesterday I thought I really owe it to them. This is the best of what a mom & pop shop offers. Personalized service. Every time I enter I have always been greeted professionally. The store itself is very big for a smoke shop, and they have so much more than just smoking gear. But they do have that for sure. Various pipe to your liking. They have a sex shop section which I've never looked in because I've never had the need :( . They have a very wide array of t-shirts you won't find anywhere else. Cool shirts like tye-dyes, Grateful Dead shirts, you name it. They have many other products there like all manner of incense, candles, a large magazine section, board games, books, HuGE sticker selection. These are the coolest stickers!!! They have big ones and small ones. They carry the biggest selection of detoxifying products I've ever been privy to: any method of detoxifying you need they have something there for you. Yesterday I needed something that I need from time to time, and I was helped by the man with long hair who has been there since I've been visiting Prissy's. That's another aspect I really appreciate. You don't get that with many other stores today because most places have such a high turnover with employees, you could be a customer somewhere for ten years and the new employee of course would never recognize you. Well I don't know his name but he stood there answering all my questions patiently, even repeating information as I needed. He was SO helpful and gave me the confidence I needed by educating me on the products, and assuring me. I didn't get to thank him yesterday but I thank him very much for his kindness and patience. The other employees that are usually there is a man and a woman and I think they are the owners. The woman is so sweet to me. She always gives me a bag to carry out the things I purchase no matter how big or small they are. The man with the blue eyes is very knowledgeable too. His advice is always short, sweet, and to the point. Absolutely no BS kind of guy. I was scared the pandemic might harm this business but I am very happy to know that we are able to go inside the store again and browse all the wonderful things they have there. Sometimes I just like to come here without needing anything to buy and I always leave with stickers or a t-shirt or a candle or incense. If you're looking for any of the items I mentioned above, this is definitely the store to come to anywhere near this area. I know of no store like it I have been to ever. I hope this store is always always around. It has always been such a pleasure to be a customer here. I have always received perfect service and they always have had everything I need. Deeply disappointed. The glass that I thought I purchased was not what was shown to me. One was chipped and 3 out of 4 not the German Pyrex. Complete waste of time and money. There are plenty of smoke shops around to take my and my friends business to. Very disappointed in bait and switch. $7.00 each and they are junk. One was to be a 90 degree for a bong. I didn't get it. Really, I didn't. "High" society; of course it's a stoner shop. But my proper use of a semicolon in my opening sentence belies the fact that I'm not, in fact, a potsmoker even occasionally. So how did I end up in a stoner shop stocked with all kinds of deadhead, Marley, hemp parephernalia and more lighters than your average AA meeting? For the sex stuff, obvs. Allow me to clarify. For once, my intentions were actually innocent enough. I offered up a massage and realized I didn't have massage oil. Knowing that your local Walgreens or CVS is hit-or-miss on stuff like this, I figured that my best bet would be an adult toystore. Walked into pothead heaven, had to cut through to get to the adult section. Standard stuff there, exactly what you'd expect. Couldn't help but notice that it was VERY heterosexually stocked... which makes sense in the OC, where most of the gay men are married to a blonde woman and have three kids and a minivan, even though they're secretly in love with their older boy's soccer coach, a rough trick named Jim. Still, I was only needing massage oil, and I found a few options. Sadly, none were really great ones. I settled for a green apple fragranced bottle, shaped like a heart, for $8.95. Tacky, but who cares as long as it's a good product. Unfortunately, it was so sticky it was like giving a massage with maple syrup. Which I think there's a video of, in the $5 bin at this store. Anyway, if you're close and have a specific need (synthetic urine, anyone?), they're your place. Otherwise, you can do better. read more

I come here maybe once every couple weeks only If I'm too lazy to drive down the street because it's literally around the corner from my house. The new owner here always charges more than what the product is worth. For example if the total is $16.10 he will charge your card $17.00 and acts innocent like he doesn't know what he's doing. If cigarettes are $7.50 he'll charge you $9.50. He makes up the prices. If you confront him he will come up with some lame excuse why. He does this every time to everyone so he can make extra money everyday. Shady business. They do illegal shit here too in the back. read more

They've got it all, from cheap little chillums to more expensive hand-crafted pieces. But the best thing about Prissy's is the staff. Every time I go in, the folks behind the counter are super attentive, with a helpful answer to any question. Ha! I remember when I was first old enough to step foot in a Prissy's...and how nervous I was. I was so used to buying papers for the liquor store...and getting those cheap metal pipes from the swap meet... boy did things change once glass came into play.....glass pipes, glass waterpipes,... Prissy's is a pretty cool spot...not just for buying smoking paraphernalia but they also got some cool stuff like art books, zippos, storage containers, ummm...porn..... and one of my favorite features....the walk in cigar humidifier.... mmmm Cigars.... I have been coming here since I was 18 and gotta say the folks here are super friendly and helpful. got a question about anything...just ask.....these people are "hip" to it...so don't feel embarrassed when you need to find out what "tea" will clean out your system in time for your drug test. heh. sometimes they have really good deals on stuff, but I guess for the most part the prices are fair. gotta say...if you are as clumsy as me..and break every damn thing....it doesn't pay to invest in anything over $100 hahaha well...not much more I can say without incriminating myself j/k then after your done you can go grab some fried zucchini over at The Mad Greek. read more

Ran out of CIGARS this past weekend and didnt feel like driving to my normal cigar shop. Searched for cigar on yelp and this place came up. To my surprise they were veryyyyy close to my home. Since im a cigar nut, i was more concerned with there selection more so other smoking items. They have a small but very decent walk-in humidor with a very nice selection of different brands. I very, very glad i found this place, will for sure be visiting here again soon. The ladies at the front counter were very professional and pleasant. If your wondering why i capitalized the first cigar word, is because when i was looking cigars up on yelp, the review that got my attention had the word cigar in it first. The atmosphere was very dingy, with an upkeep similar to that of a gas station bathroom with a disgruntled employee. My questions were answered with more of shrugs and grunts then actual customer service. My overall impression and experience was that my business was not wanted there, so haste was made to exit the establishment as quickly as possible. I love unique places and this one is definitely that! In the heart of orange county, the rowdier side, in a city called Stanton, is this gem tucked away off of Beach. It's name alone is a warning! Prissy's High Society! I needed a little container and one was on Ebay from this place. So naturally I looked it up on the web and there I was, at the store, 10 minutes from my work. It's a head shop w/ an XXX twist. No peep show booths but just toys and vids. The part that I love is the cool people running the place. Don't know the older guy's name but he's cool. The place is really cool too, lots to look at. Anyway, for all you party needs, glass, vape, adult toys, etc...go check out these guys at Prissy's. I've been going to Prissy's since the mid 80's and it has always been one of the best shops in the OC. They sold concert tickets back then, but no longer. This shop has sooooo many cool things to offer. T-shirts, games, jewelry, rock memorabilia, candles, incense and holders, and sooo much more. It's worth the drive just to check it out.
