Lady was very rude, i definitely wouldn't recommend renting from there and you can go somewhere else and get the cheaper!

***READ ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE RENTING HERE*** Our experience has been awful from the beginning. I should have booked with the original place I looked at that was running a $99 per day special but this place was closer to us and she said she would price match. When I told her about the special, she had a bunch of questions even though I sent the screenshot information to her. We finally settled on a price that was a little more than the other place. We ended up getting to our condo early on Sunday so I let her know and she said she could bring it early and wave the early delivery fee if we allowed her to pickup earlier than normal on the night before we leave which we agreed would be fine. Vanessa repeatedly told us that we shouldn't need to charge the vehicle unless we were going to seaside multiple times. We have yet to go to seaside or Grayton beach once. In fact, it has been raining in the area so we have had to drive our regular vehicle to nearby beaches in which we could not take the cart. Sunday afternoon I got a text saying she saw us saying that our cart looked full and looked like there were teenagers on it. We had a 6 seater and had 3 adults and a 9 year old. I kind of blew the commentary off. Monday afternoon I had a missed call and then a text from Vanessa asking if the golf cart was at our condo and to see if she could come and swap out the charger cord. We were at the beach in another town and I did not see the message or call until later. She decided to go by our condo and access the golf cart even though I did not respond about it being there. I told her that we would likely need to charge it and verified if she left the cord and she said the cord was still under the seat. Fast forward to Tuesday afternoon, our golf cart was down to 3 bars of battery so we decided to look for the charger and had planned to charge it later that evening at a friends place. My husband realized the cord in there was significantly shorter than the one originally given to us when we got the cart. We called and asked why the cord was removed and given to someone else since we now would not be able to charge it due to length reaching the plug in we were able to use. At this point, Vanessa states that she needed that cord for the shop and then later retracts that statement and says that another customer wrapped their cord around something damaging it and they were given the longer cord so she lied to my husband when she originally said it was taken to the shop. She continuously talked over my husband to the point of frustration and my husband ended up hanging up the phone as no resolution was being presented to us. She then called back a few minutes later and asked if there was anything they could do and I asked if they could swap the cart out for another one with a charged battery or supply us with the original charger we thought we were going to have. I was told there was nothing she could do that evening as it was 5PM and she was grocery shopping at Publix, although Google shows they are open until 8PM. I understood it being later and said that Wednesday morning would be fine to bring the charger or swap out but was told we needed to try and use the charger that she swapped out even though I told her multiple times it would not reach. She kept asking me the address where we would be charging it and asking who gave us permission to charge the cart somewhere, etc. which frankly was none of her business and I did not want her showing up to our friends place unannounced as she had done this already at our condo. Nonetheless, she told me to at least try to charge it with the 2nd cord she gave us and at that point I just gave up. We were going around in circles and my husband and I decided we would drive it until it got down to the 2 bars of charge and have her come and get it and rent elsewhere. Unfortunately this meant we did not get to use it for a full day we had paid for. I explained to her that it did not seem right that we would not even be able to utilize the cart for the duration we paid for due to not having a suitable charger and her not being willing to swap it out. I also asked if we could be refunded just the time frame of inability to use the cart so we could rent one elsewhere and was denied that as well. 0/10 do not recommend this business. Very rude and the negative customer service is truly unmatched. Do yourself a favor and rent with Reef Beach Rentals. They were phenomenal to deal with. read more

DO NOT use this company. The owner Vanessa charged our credit card company $1367 for two golf carts that weren't reliable and she didn't go by the agreement for services. I contacted my credit card company and disputed the $1367 charge was refunded. After the $1367 credit from my bank, 6 days later after losing the dispute, this company charged my credit card $630 for that same dates of services for the $1367. The $630 unauthorized charge was done because this company lost the original dispute. WORST Company-FAULTY EQUIPMENT, UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE, and DOESN'T GO BY AGREEMENT. I should of gone with my gut instinct when I talked to her on the phone for 5 minutes-Hangup ASAP!!! If the owner gets your credit card information I recommend you cancel your card and get a new one because she will charge what ever she feels like. read more

I wouldn't even give Pristine Golf Carts a 1 star, but you cant get lower. This company is fraudulent. Took our money and left us without a golf cart. Run from Vanessa, the owner, as fast as you can. It's a pattern of her taking your payment and then her making false accusations against you. So scary that we had to call the Santa Rosa Police to make a report. Just warning to anyone wanting to rent a golf cart in the Santa Rosa area. I'm not even the kind that even does reviews online, but I feel people should be warned about this company. read more

We rented two separate electric golf carts from two different companies. The cart that we rented from this company, was unreliable. We reached out to the owner, and were told we knew nothing about the golf cart, and we did not know how golf carts work. We took the golf cart from our rental house, to seaside, which was 2 miles away. it drained nearly 20% of the battery doing just that. By the time we returned home we were at nearly 50% and the golf cart would not hardly go over 10 mph. We were actually going 7 mph on a flat Road. Again we were told that we did not know how a golf cart works. And that we had been on it all day. This lady was obviously following us around to know that, however, we only made one trip to seaside one trip back one more trip to seaside and one more trip back. About 8 miles total. In comparison, the other golf cart that we have rented has not been below 80% the entire time we have had it, and we have had up to six people on that golf cart. This golf cart from this company, we never had more than two people, and it was strapped to even go down the main road. It was a safety hazard. When we reached out to the owner, she obviously refused to give a refund or any compensation, or even switch out the golf cart, she held to her ground that the golf cart was in full working order. We have owned golf carts, our entire lives, and never had an issue like this. This is an older model golf cart with a lead acid battery. I am sure in response to this review, the owner will say we were rude, and that we did not know what we were talking about, but I assure you we do, again we have owned golf carts, our entire lives, we have another one rented while we were here, and never have we had any of the issues that we had with this cart. It boils down to rude customer service, and not following through with their customers confidence in safety of the equipment. I highly discourage that you use this company for your rental, and look elsewhere. read more

Extremely unprofessional. My in-laws rented from this company for us while we were here in Florida, we used the golf cart one day to travel, back-and-forth to seaside, and the safety was so compromised on the golf cart. We were unsure we would even make it back to our house. We left on a full charge and returned with 40%. The other golf cart my in-laws rented had more people on it and never got below 80%. The golf cart we rented from this company was so unreliable, and the lady was so rude dealing with us, basically calling us stupid and saying we did not know what we were talking about. I highly highly recommend that you do not use this company. Look at the other reviews, we can reiterate everything in those other reviews. People are not lying about this company. read more

Very rude! This lady chased me down the street, holding her horn down and causing a scene in front of many people. She jumped out of her car and starting yelling that she could smell alcohol all over the cart. This cart included my 88 year old grandmother, and two children under the age of 6. Absolutely no alcohol was involved. She took the cart from us leaving everyone stranded 4 miles from our home. She then went to our house opened the gate without permission and walked around the property to find her charger. Do not rent from this company! read more

From the very first time contacting Pristine, they were incredibly rude. We were told there was availability and I sent over the requested information in order to book. I followed up for days with zero response from the owner only to have a family member have to reach out and be told they were booked. I understand the season is busy, but following up with a paying customer to let them know the booking is no longer available is a minimum ask. Would never use them in the future. read more

Rude isn't a strong enough word for Vanessa, I made the mistake of asking her company for help. My golf cart had came w the home and I didn't get ANY instructions. I didn't know about the 35mph road and I crossed one. I needed someone to load up my cart and move it across the road. She called me thinking i rented from her and without even saying hello all I heard was, " WHATS THE ONE THING I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO??? I SAID DON'T CROSS 98!!" I didn't even know who i was talking to. I was already upset & was trying not to cry. I told her I had my problem solved and had someone coming to help...she continues with the butt chewing and YELLS, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE SOMEONE GETTING MY CART??? NOBODY BETTER NOT TOUCH MY CART!!!" Thats when i realize I'm talking to a lunatic. Once I explained she couldn't stop with the butt chewing, she says, "IF YOU WERE MY CUSTOMER I WOULD CHARGE YOU THROUGH THE REAR!" Maybe she has issues with other women, who knows. All I know is you better stay AWAY from this rental company. She made a horrible ordeal for me a million times worse than what it needed to be. read more
