I needed to get a car for my sister from Queensbury to Albany Airport. The first 2 Limo services in the area were EXTREMELY RUDE. I kept dialing and reached Joanne... she was extremely nice and professional. I was able to book the car service and so happy I didn't settle with the other 2 companies... The jacuzzi was open and just what the dr ordered. We ate out a few times, but the kitchen was fully furnished to make a nice dinner last night . our unit 13 has a lovely main bedroom with a jacuzzi on-suite. With 2nd bedroom on the same level. The 2nd floor had great views from the living room and a fireplace that opened to the dining room. with a 3 rd bedroom in a loft (a very cool room for kids ) easy parking . since the fireworks were right down the road, we walked down to the doc and could watch without having to drive the views are spectacular. I needed to take a taxi to the Fort Edwards-Glen Falls Amtrak stop, and it was $27.50 (then I tipped about 20%). The woman answering the phone was very kind, and I was able to secure a ride for 12:30pm when I called at about 8:30am that morning. The only reason that this isn't a 5 star review is because the driver was a bit late, couldn't figure out how to verify my credit card (so I just paid cash), and acted a bit strange. The car was also a bit beat up, but it got me where I needed to go! I would recommend this ride share service if you need a ride, but call in advance to schedule and have cash handy just in case!

The state is up north and its claim to fame is maple syrup. That and the tons and tons of snow it gets during the winter. Or at the very least that's why we went. We wanted to experience it firsthand. We stopped at the welcome center and learned quite a bit. There are pamphlets everywhere. Charts, too, depicting who is from the state, who died from the military, and even movies made in the state. Did you know that Beetlejuice was filmed there? Other than that, I cannot say much. There are bathrooms, but I did not use them. There is coffee, but I did not have any. Oh, and there are soda machines for snacks. Come to think about it, there were attendants, but they were having a cup of coffee. Then again, it was Christmas Eve and it was in the teens. I really didn't notice them until the end. This is just a tranquil place that you can go at your own pace. Feels attendants are there just in case.

A/c worked great as the day was hot! Staff was friendly and do a great job keeping the resort looking beautiful. Tons of trees for shade and right on Schroon River so plenty to do in the area. They have a pool, horseshoe pits, playground, tubes for rent, and an activity zone. It's also just a short drive to town for food, coffee, things to do, etc. The best part is the store has little gifts for you to remember your trip! Definitely worth coming to if you're looking for a campground resort in the area!

The bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen (nicely updated fixtures, not a trace of dirt could even be seen on the floors, the soap smelled amazing and the air freshner wasn't too pungent like it was trying to mask "other smells"). The property manager, Harry, and other groundskeepers, were so attentive and friendly; checked on us periodically, always asking if we needed anything. We stayed on a "lower" site. It was spacious, shaded perfectly, easy access to water and electricity, and the view and beach/river access is a bonus. Even in late September, we were able to enjoy the soft, warm sand, and the cool, refreshing, clear water. The playground/play areas were a hit for my 4 yr old. Again, the cleanliness and upkeep of those structures were a pleasant surprise. I'm certain we'll be back!

My wife's family has been coming to The Juliana for over 30 years now, and I've been going for over…read morea decade. In that time period, there have been many ebbs and flows to the quality of the experience. Right now appears to be a significant downturn. When the new ownership group took over a few years ago, we were hopeful. Rooms were refreshed a bit, new bedding and towels were purchased. Since then, it's been a steady but slow decline. We always stay in the same rooms, and the shower in room 29 has been leaking in the same spot for the past 3 years now. The deck to room 30 is rotting away and was absolutely filthy when we arrived. The sheets on two of the three beds in room 30 were stained. The entire building ran out of propane our first night there, so there was no gas for the stoves or any hot water our first day and a half. The grill on our deck was absolutely filthy and had old food lodged under the grill plates. The stove's burner was partially disassembled and had soot all over the place. These are oversights that never would have occurred when Eric was running the show. While all of these oversights throughout the property have happened, the costs has grown exorbitantly under the new ownership group. It's a terribly sad thing to see. The location is still fantastic, and the front-facing staff there are still wonderful, but it seems like the absent ownership is taking the profits from this property and putting them into their other properties in the Lake George property. We'll probably give The Juliana one more chance purely for nostalgia's sake, but if we don't see significant improvement next year, it will sadly be time to move on. There are far too many properties up and down the lake to accept what The Juliana is providing for the price point they are charging.
