I called Queensbury taxi for a medicab pick up from my doctors appointment. Dispatcher said a cab would be there in half an hour. Thirty minutes later, I called back and they said they had no information, regarding a pick up for me. One star when that lousy taxi company doesn't deserve it. read more

Our car was in the repair shop and we had friends visiting Lake George from out of state. We've used taxis in NYC before, but didn't realize they exist here. Everything was fine. Driver Arrived promptly and also patiently dealt with my crippled husband who had a broken kneecap and crutches. read more

I was using Queensbury Taxi for Medical rides. When the driver moved in my driveway he hit my kitten watched it flip flop in the driveway 4 times and die. He said what happened to that. I said obviously you hit it. He pulled away leaving my dead kitten laying in the driveway saying whel if this cab hit it I'm sorry. Whel don't ya think he could have offered to pick her up cover her up something. Nope No EMPATHY AT ALL. I froze i was in shock the remainder of my trip. Upon my son & sister calling the cab dispatcher when I told them what happened the dispatcher did not care either no I'm sorry nothing. They could not even be bothered to call to see how I was. A Saratoga county sheriff called them inquiring about the incident and they told him they thaught i was fine when I was far from fine. I cried all day. What a horrible experience. Queensbury Taxi - They ran over my kitten and killed it - Taxis Near Me - Glens Falls, New York

I have never used their taxi service. However one of their divers smashed into my wife's car and was issued a ticket. Queensbury Taxi is clearly at fault. After 4 days and hours on hold e-mail's ect. We have gotten no where. I am starting to think there might not be any insurance. If you get hurt or have any property damage it seems like you will be left holding the bag. read more

Queensbury Taxi was a savior. It started with Heather who was an angel on the phone, and very helpful. We were 15 miles from Queensbury, Chris got to us within 20 minutes to drive us back down to Lake George. He was super friendly and was super knowledgeable of the area. Okay, so I booked a cab for a certain time. They don't show up on time. I give them a few minutes, then I call. The guy says 'Yeah, they're on their way/around the corner.' Cool. Waited another 5 minutes. And then 10 minutes. Meanwhile, I have to make the train for an important meeting in NYC. So in the end, I jump in the car with my 3 kids and have to drive myself to the station. I call them on the way, asking where they were and why they didn't call me to warn me they'd be so late. Obviously, I was annoyed. The guy says, defensively, 'Oh yer real cute acting that way', and then proceeds to say that trains are normally late anyway. No. That's not how to run a business. That's just plain rude. read more

They are normally faster than the other cabs but you pay for it. A $15 minimum is crazy, and when I use them they always charge my card $20 when it should be $17 after a $2 tip. J read more

never showed up. kept telling me they were around the corner for 45 minutes. it was a medical transportation and i had to drive mysel. my insurance said i was a "no show" which is a complete lie. the taxi was trying to get paid for not showing up. read more

WORST CAB COMPANY IN THE AREA. Always takes enormous amounts of time to arrive, incredibly overcharge for every ride ($15 min even if you go one block), rude drivers, dirty rundown vehicles (one even broke down as it was picking me up.) This is an awful company. They are not reliable and don't care and the dispatchers are some of the nastiest rudest people Ive ever spoken to. You are better off walking. read more

If I could give this negative stars, I would. DO NOT USE THIS TAXI COMPANY. The owner inflates his prices to take advantage of riders when ubers and lyft arent available. My group was happy to use the taxi service until we found out that it was $60 to go FIVE MILES. We used the company 3 times on our trip and all 3 trips were under 15 miles and every trip was $60. When calling the owner he had no good reason for charging $60 so it can be assumed he was price gauging for the 4th of july weekend. The owner is for lack of better words a real asshole. We had Winona twice and she was great. Otherwise we will never be using this company again and I HIGHLY suggest you take this review into consideration before calling for a ride from this company. read more

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS CAB COMPANY!!!! THEY ARE DANGERIOUS!!!!!! YOU WILL DIE IF YOU TRUST THEIR DRIVING!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Driving behind one of the Queensbury Taxi drivers and they are all over the road. Crossing over double yellow lines multiple times. At one point they actually almost ran someone off the other side of the road because they had crossed so far over. This is a cab company with a disaster waiting to happen. When we called to report this the man who answered didn't have anything to say and didn't even say goodbye when we were done reporting taxi 39's driving. The least they could do was take the phone call seriously. If they had I wouldn't be posting this here but the people of this town have a right to a safe ride and Queensbury Taxi is not a safe ride. read more

My husband called the other day so I could go to Hannaford for some food. Our car broke down and we needed food in the house. Hannaford is only 4 blocks away from our home. The driver was very honest & a nice person. They charged me (1 person ride) $30 roundtrip. The woman who answers the phone was very rude. She called my husband as soon as the driver arrived. Then proceeded to call him two more times during my ride. She called called the driver 3 times also. It was though she thought that I was not going to pay. I was being judged for what reason(s)? It was very unpleasant. The driver even said that I was being ripped off. He was very upset about the fact of knowing this. My husband and I rode in a taxi from their sister company earlier in the week. We paid for that ride too! We paid over $30 for that ride also. We gave him very good tips too. He probably didn't mention that to the owner. There was no reason for the woman in the phone to be so rude and to keep calling the driver and my husband. She did not have any reason to be rude and judgemental. She does NOT know me. The cab I took today from Carol's can went 4 miles or more. That ride was only $10. Call Carol's can company. They don't rip people off & they do not treat people like crap. read more

I got picked up on Main St., Lake George driven a half an hour round-trip in the wrong direction then was mandated to pay $15 to drop me off at the same spot I was picked up at. Had the police involved. I had to pay for the trip in the wrong direction. Something is very wrong here ! read more

Unfortunately waited 45 minutes when we were told 20 for a driver to and charge us an astronomical amount because she thought she could. Don't go with this company, I promise got tri-county is better. She charged us 40$ for the same cab ride that cost us 25 with two other companies on separate occasions. read more

Absolutely horrible. We asked twice about amount of time we would need to call in advance in order to get a taxi home from a wedding. We asked if we should pre-book our pickup time. We we're twice told that we only needed to call when we needed a pickup and they would get us in 30 mins. TWO HOURS later they finally arrived and driver messed up exiting the highway (he didn't get lost, he just missed turning off the exit ramp and so we went back on the highway). What shouod have been a 25 min ride was 45. Worst taxi experience. Do not use this terrible company. read more

Worst experience I have ever had with a cab company. Set up a pick up time an hour in advance. I finally called to get an ETA when they were 15 minutes late and was told "the cab would be there shortly." I called again at 30 minutes late and again at 45 minutes late at which point I was told "the cab would not be coming." At least they finally got around to telling me the truth after lying to me on the first 3 calls. Incredibly rude and incredibly unreliable. read more

I had ordered my car before I read the reviews and then was a bit worried. However Queensbury came through A-OK! My flight was 45 minutes late but the driver waited in the cell parking lot until I arrived. She left a message on my cell phone telling me she was there and once I was able to turn my phone on after the flight, I received it. The dispatcher also called shortly thereafter to let me know the driver was there and on her way to baggage claim to pick me up. Kasha (the driver) was very pleasant and told me a bit about the Lake George area. The car was in ok shape and didn't have air-conditioning (why I didn't give a higher rating) but no complaints about the fare or timing. read more
