So being without a GP or GYN I came to this location because I feel like I have a kidney infection. The lack of any kind of attempt at human connection in this office is astounding. There's no one to help you with check-in, you're immediately pointed to a QR code where you fill out all of the paperwork yourself. Once the receptionist has that, she points you to a machine IN THE WAITING ROOM to get your vitals. Everything from weight and temperature to blood pressure and oxygen numbers is done by one of those machines you generally see at Walmart that you sit and put your arm in. WTF? That machine prints out a paper that you give to the receptionist. Because I was there thinking I have a kidney infection, she handed me a urine specimen cup, and told me to go into the bathroom, again, in the waiting room. A basket in the waiting room for the collection of your investments already had someone else's specimen in it. With their information on it. I'm sorry but HIPAA who? I then sat back down until called back to go to a room. A nurse didn't come in the room to talk to me or anything. I sent to room 3 to wait. I sat in my room for half an hour, listening to the full exam of a kid in the room next to me because the walls are really thin, before a doctor come in to tell me that because I drink a lot of water, my urine was clear... dilute ... and that it could be an ovarian cyst or even appendicitis, she doesn't know what's causing the pain in my lower back, that I should go to the emergency room to get imagining done and they could tell me what's causing the pain in my back around my kidneys and the malaise. So not only did I just pay my co-pay, but I was also charged an extra fee for urinalysis, something I've never had done before in any doctors office in my life. I walked out feeling like I just wasted my money and my time. If you've got something really simple like a sinus infection, I feel like this would be a good option. But for anything else? No... and now to the ER I go. UPDATE: I noticed the rebuttal the manager of the office posted below, and no, they are not telling the truth. I wait over an hour plus and still no one has called me, people who are arriving after me are getting their name called and being seen. So I go up and talk with a different receptionist and she asked if I've talked to anyone once I arrived. I answered "yes" and she proceeds to hand me papers to "check me in". I asked her if this was paper work that I've should have filled out upon arrival and she answers "yes". The quality of care and attention to detail is poor at this office, I should not nor anyone else for that matter be overlooked for care because a receptionist failed to follow procedure. I get my blood drawn every couple of months and then go back in to go over the results and make sure everything is good. Workers are masked and nice. It is clean and safe. The best time to go in is in the morning. It gets really busy. Packed to where you don't feel as safe in the afternoon. I walked in early at 9:40 am and they didn't take me in until almost 10:30. My appointment was at 10:15 and they didn't seem busy yet. The main thing is, make sure you provide extra time. It seems like it takes forever. A lot of waiting. I was finally put in a room and I sat there waiting and waiting. They weighed me and took my blood pressure prior to that. I waited another 50 minutes Finally, the doctor came in. My doc is Dr. Dhillion and he went over everything. Everything was normal except my blood count was low. The doctor is good! He said he wanted me to do another blood test for the blood count before I left and see him in a month. Make sure you don't have any timely matters after the appointment. You won't make it if you do. At least the doctor is good and the assistants are nice. I checked out, scheduled the next appointment and went to their lab area to get my blood drawn again. The worker was very kind and drew my blood quickly. I left after that, after a worker at the front desk wished me a good day!

They also did an X-ray and found that I had pneumonia. The doctor was very helpful and did his very best to treat me. He gave me antibiotics, and I am forever grateful. My concerns were addressed both times I visited this urgent care and my issues were resolved. Whenever I've brought up issues that are outside the scope of primary care, he has had no problem referring me to specialists, and I also appreciate that he follows up on that care afterward instead of just sending you off and forgetting about it. Despite this, I am consistently waiting over an hour past my appointment time before being seen. This is not a one-time issue -- it happens every visit. If I were an hour late, I'm certain I would be told to reschedule, so it's frustrating that patients' time is not given the same respect. On top of that, some staff members come across as rude and uninterested, as if they don't want to be there. When patients are already dealing with pain or injuries, a little professionalism and courtesy would go a long way. If there were other options available, I would choose them. Blue Shield will again be accepted but your office will not.
