Our design appointment was informative, and James knew his product. Our scheduling for install was quoted as within four weeks, but install was started in less than two weeks. The work crews were always on time, professional, and after each step of the process, they thoroughly cleaned up. The end product is beautiful, a bit expensive for 'grass', but well worth the investment. At the end, our Project Manager, Matthew, visited in person and made sure we were happy. During the process the office, Misha, checked with us several times to explain payment, maintenance, etc. Customer Service tends to be missing from many service companies, but STNW has set the standard.

The original quote did not state that the deposit was non-refundable, and I could not find any cancellation or non-refundable deposit policy on the company's website. I canceled the project one day before the scheduled installation, before any work began. After I canceled, I was informed for the first time that the deposit was non-refundable. When I requested documentation supporting the claimed expenses and asked for the contractor's registration information, my requests were declined. I believe important terms, such as whether a deposit is non-refundable, should be clearly disclosed before a customer is asked to pay. Unfortunately, we were unable to resolve the matter, and I will be pursuing it through the appropriate consumer protection channels. This is my personal experience so that others can make an informed decision.

They fired the guy who gave me the quote -- but gave no communication until I reached out. They promised to send me a revised proposal plus instructions for a deposit -- never sent it, despite me asking multiple times. Canceled our Team's meeting 10 minutes before the call. Rescheduled, but did not show up to the new date, nor respond to my email asking for clarification. Just left me hanging. He clearly decided he did not want to do my irrigation project, but instead of communicating, he strung me along and made promises he never intended to keep. To completely ghost me and not even respond after agreeing to do the project is some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever encountered. If he doesn't want to do my project, fine. Just be a decent human and tell me. Now I am several weeks behind on my project. Please save yourself weeks of headache and choose a different company!
