Went in looking for buffet so we can taste a little bit of everything. But they only have buffet Saturday and sundays. So we just ordered the lunch menu and ordered a mini buffet for ourselves. Ordered the onion pakora as an appetizer. For some reason I thought it was going to come with some sort of sauce. So it was a little dry. I just ended up dipping it in the malai kofta for more flavor. We ordered 1 veggie, 1 chicken, and 1 lamb lunch combo. Which it came with white rice, soup, and naan or a roti. The veggie option was the malai kofta. (I liked this one the best, bc it was sweet) . It's vegetable cheese dumplings in a cashew sauce. the chicken option was the priya chicken special. (Second best) This was good. It was saucy. and then we got the lamb masala. This one was more on the tomato-sour side. I like more of a creamy sauces. These dishes weren't as spicy. The Mysore Masala Dosa was delicious! The potato was tasty, the dosa was perfectly fermented batter and the sambar was fingerlicking good. The chutney's on the side were tasty too. The Saag Paneer was also very good and the best part was the paneer pieces were so soft, it is hard to find at most restaurants. Aloo Paratha was meh, the filling was scant and not flavorful The Chili Gobi dry was so flavorful, but they had made it extra extra spicy (I had asked for mild) and I just couldn't eat it much. The goat pepper fry was a big disappointment- the flavors were fine but the goat pieces were terrible. Overall a decent meal. read more

Ordered the vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, lamb biryani, and garlic naan for takeout and everything was delicious. The samosas stood out because my spiciness tolerance is pretty low. I'm glad they made it so flavorful (+the dipping sauces were great) without making it too hot! read more

We ordered the Chili Gobi, Fish Fry, Chili Fish, Paneer Butter Masala, Garlic Naan, Veg Kothu Paratha. To start off, we ordered Chili Fish and Fish Fry which was severely uncooked. We sent it back and ordered Chili Gobi to be safe, instead, however, we received an incorrect order of Gobi Manchurian instead which we did not want. We also ordered the Kothu Paratha with at a medium spice level, but it had no taste or spice at all. The Paneer dish and the naan were okay, nothing too special. Urgh.... Disappointing experience on Saturday. I had praised this restaurant so much to my cousin visiting from Canada. We ordered the Gobi Manchuria ($14), and Lamb Vindaloo ($18!). Gobi Manchuria was 'ok', Lamb Vindaloo was really disappointing. As my cousin pointed out too, it felt like cubed lamb in tomato paste. Bleh.... And, the white rice was stale! Tasted like old stale rice. Two dishes, over $30. And it wasn't even good anymore. Thanks but no thanks. We're not going back. Plenty of other Indian restaurants to explore closeby. read more

First time I've tried this place was about a year ago and the food was fantastic. Everything I've ordered was so delicious and was full of flavor. But two days ago, I've order from them again the food did not taste the same and portion was very small and pricey. The chicken tandoori lack flavored. It was so bland. The chicken tikka masala was okay and there were very little meat in it. My garlic naan was good but was soggy by the time it got to me. It wasn't soggy the first time I've order it via ubereats. First time trying their chicken biryani and I would say I wouldn't order it again because it was not good. I couldn't tell what the flavor was supposed to be like. Last night I brought my family to Priya Indian Cuisine in Lowell for a colleague's son's first birthday party. I'd never been before. Walking in, I was delighted by the scents of the many spices and the soft background of Indi-pop playing. The event was held in a function room that was perfect for the gathering. Despite the weather being chilly and unpleasant outside, it was warm and comfortable and beautifully well decorated inside. Dinner for the event was served buffet-style, starting with appetizers of chili paneer and vegetable samosas. The main course had, among other treats, malai kofta, butter paneer, and chana masala. The obligatory naan was soft and warm and tasted wonderful. The dessert was a glorious rasmalai. We don't get to go out as often as we'd like, so we ordered take-out to bring home with us after the event. I was afraid it might be toned down as it's not obvious we like spicy food, but I need not have worried. We got both chana and paneer saag, my favourites, and they were perfectly spiced. They were on the creamy side, but that's my favourite style of saag. My kids wanted chicken tikka masala, also amazing. My wife got lamb korma. although they were calling it something else - pasanada? It's as good as the rest. For breads, we got aloo, kulcha, and peshawari naan, and my kids are split on which they like best. It was a bit of a drive for us, but the staff was so friendly and the food so good that we'll certainly be making return trips now and again, and if we need a function hall with catering, Priya is now at the top of my list. Food is awesome. Some of the best in the area. I do take out from here a lot and they almost always get something in my order wrong or forget something. It is too far a drive for me to drive back. It was nice inside and not a lot of people. We ordered chicken tikka masala and spinach paneer. The spinach dish was not that flavorful as others that I have had. I ordered a chai - just tasted like black tea and cream versus ones with the tea and spices like cardamom. Maybe we need to try other things but would rather go to the Indian stall at the Burlington mall(and would be significantly cheaper). Ordered through Uber Eats last night. My first time ordering from here. All of the food I received was very good. Unfortunately, they forgot the garlic naan that I ordered. Anytime I order Indian food, the naan is my favorite part. Like I said, the other food was very good, but when you forget the naan it kind of ruins the whole experience. Luckily I was able to get refunded for the item from UE, but honestly, I don't even really care about the money, but having my meal soured by leaving out the best part is very frustrating. Explored this restaurant when we were in the surroundings. Basement restaurant and hence Att has no network there. It was empty when we reached around 6:30p but slowly was getting filled up. The service was very prompt. We tried the baby corn manchurian, plain dosa for the kid, veg fried rice and schezwan noodles. All were great though the noodles seemed a lot spicy. We went there for dinner buffet that was basically a chaat buffet. Food was ok. Service was not bad but nothing was really amazing or a reason to go back. Third time ordering from here. Their flavors and textures are always on point! I like the spice level, too. The only issue was that my kheer was warm because they packaged it on top of the hot food. Came here whilst visiting friends, at their recommendation, and enjoyed it, though we enjoyed the company more. The food was good but not the traditional Indian dishes if that's what you're expecting. The place was clean and bright and very school cafeteria-like, not really much atmosphere. No chicken tikka masala or other staples, but a lot of exotic goat and other dishes. Wouldn't rule out returning if we're back in the area and out friends wanted to go here, but would probably research other places to suggest as alternates. read more

Pretty good South Indian lunch buffet. Came here after living in Springfield and trying their Chicopee branch expecting the same. Lunch selection here was somewhat smaller. Food is pretty good. There's dosa included with the lunch which is good. Would be better if there was curd rice included along with some more vegetarian items. My family and a friend tried the lunch buffet yesterday. The prices on the menu online were reasonable, so we didn't check the price on the buffet. Big mistake! The price for a child was $15 and roughly $25 for each adult. We ordered no drinks and the bill was $95! The buffet is big and includes a lot of desserts, so a higher price is reasonable. To me, even with the inflation in this economy, $95 is too much for three adults and one child when no one even got a mango lassi. That said, the food is very good, if a bit hot for my taste. There are vegetarian options. Just be prepared for the price tag. read more

Priya surprised me, because I just wasn't expecting good food in the proximity of Bombay Royale. Alas, I was mistaken and here at Priya the food is well above average to say the least. This is our go-to Indian takeout place, even though we have to drive 45 minutes one way to get there. We prefer ordering from the menu instead of their buffet, but the latter is just as good. My favorite dish is their chicken kothu paratha, but I don't remember ever having something from there that I didn't like. The only thing to be careful of is the level of heat you ask for. We usually like medium spicy, and can handle a good amount of heat, but their medium spicy is pretty spicy for us, so sometimes I ask for mild depending on the dish. Oh, and if you don't like loud places, don't go there when they're hosting parties in the room next door. While growing up, I went to my fair share of Indian events with music blaring in the background. But with the two TV screens going on opposite walls, and the bass shaking the room, it was a bit much. If you don't mind that, then it shouldn't be an issue. It's a busy place, so that should tell you something about their food! Good stuff! read more
