    Paneer Butter Masala

Honest is our go-to spot for authentic Indian food. The dishes here taste just like Indian street food, which we love. Whether it's the fried rice, chaat, or naan, everything is delicious. On our latest visit, we ordered fried rice, paneer butter masala, garlic naan, a cheese sandwich, and pav bhaji. The pav bhaji, toasted in butter, was perfectly crispy and flavorful. They even serve paan, which is a great bonus for me. The only downside is that the restaurant is a bit pricey.

Delicous, friendly and clean spot. Food was very fresh and flavorful, and prices were fair. Will absolutely be back!

We have tried a bunch of their dishes over the past few years and the food is hit or miss. Some dishes are great, some average and some absolutely no good. The service is generally good. *Paper Dosa was average. The chutneys that came with the dosa was good and so was the sambar. *Rava Onion Chili Dosa was really good. Their potato masala was also tasty. *Paneer Kadhai was really good - but for $16.99 the portion is on the smaller side compared to other Indian restaurants in the area and they do not even serve rice with the curry. *Garlic naan was delicious but again smaller portion for the price. *Dahi poori is usually good, unless they are super busy. *Faluda is overpriced but always in demand because not a lot of Indian restaurants have this on the menu. The taste is okay as long as you have it fresh, take out is not as enjoyable. *The cauliflower Manchurian looked good in the photo but the looks are deceiving. It was too dry and the pieces were too big and raw. The con of eating here is the inconsistency. We have ordered the same dishes over different times, and each time they taste different. This goes for chaat as well, which just baffles me. Sometimes the Chaat's are well put and tasty and sometimes it feels like there was a storm in the kitchen and the ingredients were literally thrown together on the plate. Overall the food is average and most dishes are slathered in butter and over-seasoned. Not a place I can go to often because of the greasy food.

This place will satisfy all your street food cravings! From indo-Chinese to bhaji and sandwiches, they have to all! There is usually a wait time but it goes fast as their service is very fast. We got a bunch of different things including their famous sandwich, pav bhaji, noodles and a paratha. Needless to say we were not able to finish most of it and had to take a lot of the food home.

Vegetable Spring Roll, Triple Schezwan Rice, Dry Paneer Chili, Vegetable Chilli Garlic Noodle

Food is great- esp the indo chinese but the quantity is extremely small. Beware!!!! Prices are higher than average and the quantity is less than average which makes no sense!! I understand inflation but this is less quantity than similar nearby restaurants for more $$.

Excellent service - server was nice, attentive and food was ready quickly. We tried a number of dishes all of which were good The rava dosa was a bit oily for my taste but still fine. Hakka noodles and Gobi Manchurian were a big hit. Samosa chat was ok with regards to taste but presentstion sure was nice. Dahi Puri was finished quickly as it was perfect in taste. Mango and sweet Lassi were thick. It was nice to have them on the thicker side and with out ice.

Like any franchise you expect the food to be consistent. Glad to know Honest in MA did not disappoint. I have had the opportunity to eat Honest in Edison, NJ, and Hillside Ave, New York. Order a mix of Indo-Chinese, Bombay Street Food, and South Indian! Their Hakka noodles were great! Not salty or drenched in soya sauce at all and were generous with the vegetables (highly recommend). Their Bahubali sandwich absolutely matches the name Bahubali! It's huge and can be shared with 2 people. As for the paper dosa, wished it was cooked a little more, parts looked and tasted uncooked but the sambar was 10/10 with great flavor and consistency. Service was great. Fast quick and no issues. Ambiance - Family friendly, can be loud at times and Bollywood music playing on the tv.

Nice restaurant to eat dosa, sandwiches, dahipuri. Rest is ok food. Dahi puri must be total count 8 instead of 7 that's not match with price, over priced. Punjabi food is not good I don't like, paratha is so hard and burned. Falooda is tasty but over priced.

Been to this place multiple times and loved the food! Overall this is a very good restaurant, they have a good system of taking orders and the turnaround is pretty quick. With so many takeout orders, they are always on their toes. Well, I never ordered a takeout, so I don't know how fast your food is ready for pickup, but if you dine in, you won't have to wait for too long. A large shared parking lot in front of the restaurant always helps. Restrooms are decent. The menu is HUGE and I still want to try their Punjabi Thali and lot of other items. So, I am definitely going to visit again several times! I am from Mumbai, so my list below should help you if you too are from around Mumbai. What I loved: - Indian Style Bhakri Pizza - Dahi Puri - Sev Puri - Chinese Bhel - Masala Papad - Manchurian - Manchow Soup - Triple Schezwan Rice - Palak paneer and other North Indian Curries What could be better: - Pav Bhaji

This place is a Indian food heaven. I have been there multiple times and I always try to order something different from the last. I am yet to find a dish which has not met my expectation. It takes a bit of time to get the food on the table but the food is super delicious especially the dahi puri and masala dosa. Kudos to the team.

They offer a selection of Indian street foods, sandwiches, chaats, paan, pizza, cakes, desserts, lassis, cold drinks, and Indian snacks on the shelves. They also offer live Pani Puri service. The place is order & pay at the counter and there is table seating inside. I stopped by Shiv Shakti recently for carryout. I was going order a samosa chaat, but then I saw other customers (dine-in) enjoying live Pani Puri, which a staff member was freshly preparing those bite size spicy apps in the dining area. I decided to order Pani Puri (10 for $9.99 plus tax), but instead got the ingredients to go, so I could enjoy the DIY version at home. The ingredients were packaged and bagged up, including 10 crispy fried balls (shells), curry potato filling mixture, tamarind, & spicy flavored water. When I got home, I began making my own pani puri one-by-one, filling each bite size crispy ball with the filling and adding the tamarind & flavored water and eating each savory spicy pani puri in one bite. I finished all 10 pani puris in about 10 minutes, but it was a bit messy to eat. I had some extra filling, water & tamarind left over, which I ended up using as a dip for the tortilla chips I already had on hand. I will come back again for a sandwich and a chaat.

So we just ordered the lunch menu and ordered a mini buffet for ourselves. Ordered the onion pakora as an appetizer. For some reason I thought it was going to come with some sort of sauce. So it was a little dry. I just ended up dipping it in the malai kofta for more flavor. We ordered 1 veggie, 1 chicken, and 1 lamb lunch combo. Which it came with white rice, soup, and naan or a roti. The veggie option was the malai kofta. (I liked this one the best, bc it was sweet) . It's vegetable cheese dumplings in a cashew sauce. the chicken option was the priya chicken special. (Second best) This was good. It was saucy. and then we got the lamb masala. This one was more on the tomato-sour side. I like more of a creamy sauces. These dishes weren't as spicy. It was just a hint of it. Waiters were really nice and informative about the menu.

That's a heavy load to take on and he does a great job at it. Everything is super cheap here and taste great. If you're a student at Middlesex Community college like me. Let's face it, theres days when we're broke and need a place to grab a cheap quick lunch. This is definitely the spot. Pizza rolls: I love these things. He made them perfectly and you can tell he hand rolls them himself. And they're only a $1!! Double cheeseburger: BOMB! I'm so picky with burgers. I don't give a shit if it's messy looking, lets be real. If it tastes good, it's serving it's purpose. I'm super picky and customized it as I liked and he accommodated it. Thank you! Not many places do! Fries: perfectly crunchy. Not soft and soggy like most places. Maybe a little less seasoning. I know not a lot of people like spicy foods. But I enjoy it. Chicken Kabob Plate: my boyfriend and I split this because of how big it was. We ordered it with extra rice instead of the usual side of salad it comes with. The owner offered us either Indian or Spanish rice. We went with the Spanish and it tasted great, it even had vegetables in it. The chicken was nice and juicy with grilled peppers and onions. The rice and chicken had a nice kick to it. Not too spicy and just flavor. Chicken and Fries (not pictured): My boyfriend devoured this. The chicken is definitely not anything like crown fried or Jacqueline's chicken. The owner literally uses his own recipe. My boyfriend loved it and the chicken looked really fresh and juicy. He swallowed the thing before I even got a chance to take a picture of it lol. Please go visit guys! This little place has so much potential. It might seem a little stand off it by the looks of it but it's worth going in and trying it out The owner is so sweet, he even offered my boyfriend a free banana milkshake while he waited for the food to be done. Thanks Jimmy! Try it out! You won't regret it !
