The masseuse used special techniques to stimulate acupressure points by kneading and rolling to the point where she actually stopped to tell me part of my scapula was "not good," and I could tell because it got increasingly painful as she worked on it. I added cupping to the massage, which was my first time trying it, and I have no regrets. It adds a slight bit of pressure to the back but not at all to the point where it becomes painful. She used the one that vacuumed the air out so no fire was involved. I didn't realize that the color of the circles meant something, so I learned a lot about my body's circulation and stagnation.
