At the…read morequoting stage I was told that in addition to the couple of spots that required painting the entire panel in order to match the paint, they would also take care of the small knicks and scratches around the car, but when I got the car back none of the knicks and scratches were taken care of. The reason given was that the painter "ran out of paint". How ridiculous is that for a paint shop? They offered to take care of it if I would drop off the car for another day the following week, but that wasn't feasible. So, eventually the manager offered to refund a couple of hundred dollars. Please ensure that the scope of work is properly documented prior to letting this Maaco location do the job.

I highly recommend Ken's…read more  I purchased an after market roush front fascia/ bumper and needed it painted and installed on my red 2015 GT Mustang.  I wasnt sure where to have the bumper installed.  I saw several good reviews on Google and another on Yelp, so gave Ken a call.  From the very start Ken asked good questions about the bumper, and my car over the phone.  He worked within my schedule to set an appointment and view my car at his shop.  Ken also provided a solid estimate in advance which was in line with the reasonable prices I had researched online for paint and install of a bumper. Long story short.  Ken not only painted my bumper a factory match and quality but he also was able to create a custom fog light delete which was necessary in order to retain the adaptive cruise control and collision detection features on my style mustang without me having to purchase another style of aftermarket bumper or mustang package.  Credit to him for coming up with that idea.  Saved me a headache.  He knows his stuff. My car was done within 3 days and Ken kept me updated the entire time.  He not once tried to sell me anything extra and was very down to earth.  He even touched up my rims which got rid of my parking nick's and scrapes and didn't ask for a cent extra.  Ken kept my car looking good.  Overall great service and experience! I typically do not write reviews but I'm very pleased with the work Ken did on my car and have no doubt about going back and/or recommending him to anyone who needs body work.

They finished the job, however, comparing the…read morework to my friend's car, (he has the same model, same 35% tint), his shade was slightly darker than mines. He showed me his receipt, from Boomers audio, in NH and confirmed the % tint. However, my receipt from carisma showed no such details apart from the services provided. I went back to carisma to inquire about my tint % and below is are the details from the response(s) I received from the owner: 1. They provided me with 40% tint. When i requested 35% 2. When i asked about why 40%, i was told that my factory windows are by default tinted by 5% so they use 40% for a final tint of 35% 3. After the fact that my tints were not the percentage i requested, ( confirmed with my dealership the windows were NOT tinted 5%), the owner stated that for me to get the darkness what i ORIGINALLY wanted, he would have to charge me the SAME price for the work as well as an additional charge for removal of the wrong tint that they installed!!! A month had not passed, but carisma conveniently states on the receipt , which does not detail the product provided, that refunds on services is contingent on owner approval. So it was obvious that i could not go that route of demanding a refund . It would have been a nice gesture to at least meet me halfway with a reduced cost for the service, considering that their explanation of their tints was given to me after the issue was brought up. I am instead using the money to have the tints service done the right way with honesty and integrity through boomers audio in merrimack, NH. They even offered a reduced quote of services when they heard my story. Hopefully this review can be used as a tool for service improvement for carisma and to ensure that any customer will not have to have the feeling that i had upon purchasing a car service or product. They tuned it a few months ago and today they installed a new exhaust and air intake. I planned on dropping it off but john said no man, stay. Won't take us long. John is the absolute best, i was in and out in a few hours and the car is just perfect. John constantly let me speak to the mechanic which im sure he didn't like,lol throughout the project and i cant say enough. The mechanic was so nice and knowledgeable, I've never felt with someone working on my car. Beautiful clean waiting room with drinks,TV amd couches. Its just such a great experience being there at zaks auto in Hudson nh. Dont do it to urself bring ur vehicle to zaks for anything u need done. More then fair pricing and a great group of guys. My review to Zaks auto:…read more I brought my vehicle to this shop for an oil change, brake fluid flush, and other maintenance before a Porsche Club of America (PCA) track event. They also performed their complimentary PCA tech inspection, which is advertised as a thorough inspection. I specifically asked that all vehicle fluids be inspected before the event. During the track day, my car suffered a power steering failure that left me stranded. I had to call my regular mechanic to the track to repair the car so I could get it home, resulting in a significant repair bill and a lost track day. They offered no support or reparations. When I first contacted the shop, their response was simply, "You brought the vehicle to a track. We aren't liable." It was only after multiple phone calls that they acknowledged the power steering fluid had appeared discolored while the car was in their shop all day, but they never communicated that to me. I understand that track cars can fail. My issue isn't the failure--it's the lack of communication. I specifically asked for the fluids to be inspected, and the shop later admitted they noticed discolored power steering fluid but chose not to mention it. Had they done so, I would have serviced the system before the event. I've included photos of the power steering fluid taken after the failure and during the repair. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop if you're relying on them to prepare your car for a track event.

When I went to pick up the suv, I had to point out areas that were still dirty. He pointed out some wear and tear which I understood. He had kids doing the cleaning and they overlooked areas...for $375.00 nothing should have been overlooked....I had to ask about the stains that wouldn't come out which should have been pointed out when I picked up the vehicle. Didn't seem to care that I had questions....I'd look elsewhere.
