He was very personable and arrived on time every day for our four day project. He did a great job on removing our ceramic tile and subfloor and installing the new subfloor then the vinyl tile and new stained baseboards which he let me stain as I wanted and then he installed. Instead, they barely finished our second floor and had none of our first floor done when we returned. On top of that, it took them an additional three days to finish the job. The final job included uneven floors, floors that creaked, and floors that were not evenly distributed. They clearly were in a hurry, with quality being a minor concern. They offered us $500 credit for a future job but their pricing for said future job was so outrageous it seemed a joke. Instead we went another direction. We used Empire for our addition 6 months later, and the quality difference is noticeable. The Empire floors are solid, even, and stable. The Molyneaux floors are uneven, inconsistently placed, and lacking quality for the price charged. Overall very disappointing.

The flooring manufacturer (Mohawk) tells me the reason is because of high humidity, and Humble Carpet should have taken humidity readings in the house prior to selling or installing any of their wood flooring. This humidity test was never performed. Now Mohawk will not honor the flooring guarantee because of the humidity, and Humble carpet owner will not return my calls to discuss it. I relied on an experienced flooring contractor to advise me on my flooring needs, but Humble failed on this account.

Shayla was very responsive each time I reached out and was able to schedule each cleaning within a couple of days of me reaching out. She was diligent in checking in during and after each cleaning, even sending me photos of the job during my first cleaning when I was not local yet. A few days after I moved in, I needed someone to clean out debris from my two fireplaces due to a chimney-removal job. Shayla was able to send Martina right over -- though we had a small snafu with the type of vacuum that Martina had on hand -- the dust from the brick was so fine that the standard vacuum didn't have the proper filter to keep the dust from flying all over the first floor. But Martina was great and adjusted her methods with the second fireplace in our second floor. A few days after that, I had to call them AGAIN because I had spilled paint on my carpet. Needless to say, I will definitely be keeping Truly Fresh on speed dial for all my future special cleanings!
