This is a refurbished resort that is trying to improve. The reason for a four star instead of five…read morestars is the room condition. We came in after the room had been cleaned and found the floors covered with humidity, the maid turned the ac off. I used a towel to wipe off the condensation, and it turned black, see photo. Dirty floors. Breakfast was included on our package. It was the same each day: -eggs -bacon -sausage -potatoes -pancakes Plus. The normal cereal, one type of bread, and one kind of so-so muffin. Nothing to write home about. But it was good, just not "resort" quality. We did see the restaurant manager checking on food, and greeting people. The coffee was good, with real half n half offered. In the evening there was a self serve s'mores table with chocolate, Graham crackers, and marshmallows. Simply take the goodies outside to one of the many fire pits. Nice. One evening there was line dancing lessons. The bar has live entertainment.

We waited about 25 minutes to be sat for lunch at the restaurant in the hotel and they were so understaffed it took a while just to get waters. I got the steak tacos for lunch though and those were literally to die for I've been dreaming of them since. The pools were overrun by teenagers not being watched by their parents because all the parents were in the bar line or just not paying attention, felt bad for the lifeguards who kept having to literally yell at them and blow their whistles while they continued to not listen. At around 11/11:30PM I ended up in the hallway confronting a group of teenage girls who were literally screaming their heads off for whatever reason, I was trying to get my toddlers to bed and they wouldn't sleep because the girls in the adjoining room were just such a nuisance. However after telling them if they didn't keep it down I was calling security and their parents (who no surprise were at the bar), they kept it quiet the rest of the night. So overall we had a good time, room was nice and comfy, pool area overall was great aside from insane teens and drunk parents. Probably won't be back again anytime soon though.

I read a lot of reviews here. I booked this place. I wanted something right on the beach per my…read moredaughter's request. Peak summer booking that cost $500 a night for partial view of the beach. Beautiful place. Very well kept, lots of student workers. Very helpful staff. They charged my card twice for the same amount. But then were able to help there after. The place is beautiful and clean. Indoor, outdoor pool, outdoor bar is great. Only if I can stay there forever. The food from the restaurants were awesome too. Definitely will go. Back.

God awful excuse for a "resort" and "hotel"! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Sand in the room that was never cleaned out despite us never going to the beach. Room turnover needed to be requested several times and all they did was change out the towels. We needed to place a "special request" to have the sheets turned over ONE TIME! One of the pillow cases had blood stains on it and we had no idea where it came from (not us...disgusting!). Food options at the "restaurant" were minimal and the quality was poor! Walls are paper thin can hear everything our neighbors do both on our floor and upstairs/downstairs. Overall, cannot believe how much they charge for this place compared to how little they provide. Their only selling point is location. Would give ZERO stars if I could!

Our kids loved the pools and activities - Indoor pool is a plus for bad weather - Our room was clean and updated -Music/ entertainment on some nights -You can use the sister resorts for activities as well Cons: - The onsite restaurant is terrible. We were hoping it would be better this year since they said they were revamping but the food wasn't good. Most people leave the resort for meals. You can also get poolside service but took over half an hour to get 2 drinks - Our room was next to a hallway and people were slamming the door coming in late at night which woke up my kids a couple times. Would be nice if they had soft close doors - upon arrival we didn't know our card had been locked due to suspicious activity and initially declined. Front desk employee seemed very annoyed. We simply used a different card and figured it out but were not greeted by friendly staff

Not a Resort--Just a Pricey Motel with Beach Access We paid…read moreover $500/night (plus $25 parking & 20% auto-gratuity) for what felt like a dated motel with a pretty view. The only great part? Nature: the beach, flowers, breeze, and bunnies. The "Resort" Reality: * Parking: $25/night--no spots when we arrived (on a Monday night). * Room: Looked like the photos, slept well. * Coffee: 1 used pod, 1 hazelnut. * Breakfast: Buffet nearly empty at 9:30 AM. Ordered à la carte--raw eggs, missing toast, slow service. * Atmosphere: Chaotic. Screaming kids, crying babies, coughing, spilled food, no peace. * Beach: Towels require 1 card each--only given 2. No beachside service. * Food/Drinks: Few options, overpriced. $17 for a plain burger, $15 for weak mixed drinks. * Pool: Packed with kids. Cabanas are rentals--no casual use. * WiFi: Gone by Day 2. That was the last straw. We left early. Some staff were nice, but overall service was inconsistent. This place leans on location and nostalgia, but the experience doesn't justify the price. Maybe worth $250/night--maybe.
