I needed a keypad lock on my door and that's when I talked to Shawn at Pro Key Locksmith. He knows his stuff. I texted him a pic of my lock and door. Less than 24 hours later the project was completed perfectly. They came on time, were super tidy and polite, did amazing work and now I have an awesome keypad I've wanted all this time. Work was fine but the cost seemed excessive. I supplied the hardware, the locksmith resized 2 holes, installed 2 locks. He was there no more than 20 minutes. $500. I would have said no before the work began but i was up against a time constraint and I would already have to pay the service call charge. I guess this is probably what locksmiths charge but it still seems excessive. read more

I don't usually write reviews but this one is needed. After shopping around for prices and getting up charged on a holiday; I called and spoke with Sean, told him my situation, he was able to respond within 30mins and got me into my apartment within minutes for literally half the cost! Would definitely recommend and I'd say I'd use them agin but I'm investing in a keypad lock. read more

I haven't gotten price comparisons so I'm honestly not sure whether or not I could have found cheaper, but I feel confident in his work and I feel like it was worth it. I called this company to rekey and change a few locks at my house. They were there within 30 minutes. Sean was very professional and very honest. I did pay more than I thought I would but it was worth it. You can really tell the difference between the grade-1 commercial Arrow deadbolts and knobs compared to the Kwickset that everyone uses from Lowe's or Home Depot. Sean did give me a choice to go out and buy the more inexpensive locks but I decided not to. I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. Pro Key Locksmith is worth it! I Definitely recommend them to everyone. read more

Totally agreed with previous reviewers about this "company" unprofessional , incompetent experiences. You know that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you've just been taken advantage of? That's how I feel now. I called this "pro" locksmith not to long ago hoping to have broken keys removed from two of my deadbolts. When the guy arrived and told me extraction of broken keys from deadbolts was impossible, I conceded to replacing the knobs and deadbolts for both doors. This locksmith replaced my expensive locks with wafer-thin, flimsy low quality replacements... I asked for a different key for each door before he began the replacement but he handed me a single set for both, stating that he "made my life easier", really? His shoddy workmanship included an upside-down deadbolt and a screw almost impossibly stripped. How do I know the screw was stripped, you ask? Because I felt so anxious about this man having a key to my home that I replaced them all again myself immediately . When I was quoted over $300 , much higher than expected , he stated he would only accept cash to make this quick because he "just tiered and wanted to go home", and his smarmy, bullying, intimidating nature made me count the seconds until he left. I was so glad he was out of my house I didn't even notice I wasn't given a receipt, and I needed to call at least tree times before one was emailed to me. Avoid this company at all costs ! Terrible customer service1 . I called company and talked to Sean and he sounded like I was bothering him I cannot comment on the quality of their work since they never even called me back. I called to inquire about replacing my front door. He asked me to take pictures of my front doors and they would call me back. About a week passed and I heard nothing so I called them back. I was told they were still reviewing the photos and would call me back.... Hmmm... About 3-5 phone calls later over the next couple of weeks, it became clear that I was getting the runaround and that they had no intention of calling me back to provide a quote. Perhaps they don't need business or didn't want to replace my front door. Judging from the complete lack of professionalism that I experienced just from the phone conversations, perhaps it's better that they didn't install my new door. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Dangerous and a SCAM! Showed up an hour and half after they said he would arrive. Sean quoted us to drill through the lock and said that was the only way, we asked them to swipe the side of the lock instead so it does not cause damage , took him two seconds to swipe in, but he still wanted the full price for drilling through the door. If he had his way he would have drilled the lock and ruined it all but made even more money. The company no clear price policy and kept changing their story... DO NOT USE. I would have been scared to be alone with the guy who came, even with my husband there I was nervous - the guy who came relied on intimidation standing in the doorway to get even more money. I never write reviews, but in this case I felt obliged to do so...Sean from Pro Key Locksmith was extremely curteous and helpful when I called. My house had just been broken into and I needed all the locks replaced. He came to my house super quick, it felt like 10min. We spoke briefly and him and his team began their work. He could of easily taken advantage and ripped me off because of my situation. However, he was compassionate, curteous, and the service was impeccable and for the type of service and work it was inexpensive. Pro Key Locksmith is FAST, EFFICIENT and FAIR. We were in a pickle with being able to only open one of our two doors to our business. Sean responded to an online YELP quote request within 2 minutes late at night. We scheduled the repair for the following morning and he arrived right on time to service our door. The original quote went out the window when he discovered repair was not necessary, all we needed was some cleaning and light maintenance to our deadbolt. Due to some unexpected damage, I needed to quickly replace the deadbolt on the front door of my residence. I needed to repair the ignition lock on a 2003 Honda Pilot which was worn to the point where the key would no longer turn in the lock. I removed the entire ignition switch / lock assembly and had Sean at Pro-Key repair the lock. He did an excellent job in re-keying the lock so that the original key could still be used and even delivered it to me directly after the repair. UPDATE: So Owner tries blaming the owner/victim here and does not dispute that $850 was taken and…read moreLock is NOT fixed despite numerous delays and he still wants an additional $380 to "replace" the simple patio lock (total $1230). Brilliant PR! I have owned and managed dozens of properties for over 30 years and this outfit takes the cake for poor workmanship and unnecessary delays and frustrations. They Grossly overcharged me $850 to fix a patio door lock but the lock was incorrectly "fixed" despite several attempts to "fix" it. Then they told me i needed to replace the lock and accused me of tampering with it so they then demanded an additional $322 on top of the $850 and i foolishly agreed to it bc tenants were insecure. But instead of promptly replacing it, they then they kept delaying for over a month and made excuses to avoid replacing the lock as agreed. Final draw was when they then escalated the additional price to $850+$388 for a lock that costs $300 to replace. They demanded all upfront payment to even "schedule" an appointment they repeatedly failed to keep. Forget it and see you in court
