Totally agreed with previous reviewers about this "company" unprofessional , incompetent experiences. You know that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you've just been taken advantage of? That's how I feel now. I called this "pro" locksmith not to long ago hoping to have broken keys removed from two of my deadbolts. When the guy arrived and told me extraction of broken keys from deadbolts was impossible, I conceded to replacing the knobs and deadbolts for both doors. This locksmith replaced my expensive locks with wafer-thin, flimsy low quality replacements... I asked for a different key for each door before he began the replacement but he handed me a single set for both, stating that he "made my life easier", really? His shoddy workmanship included an upside-down deadbolt and a screw almost impossibly stripped. How do I know the screw was stripped, you ask? Because I felt so anxious about this man having a key to my home that I replaced them all again myself immediately . When I was quoted over $300 , much higher than expected , he stated he would only accept cash to make this quick because he "just tiered and wanted to go home", and his smarmy, bullying, intimidating nature made me count the seconds until he left. I was so glad he was out of my house I didn't even notice I wasn't given a receipt, and I needed to call at least tree times before one was emailed to me. Avoid this company at all costs ! While I regret every interaction I've had with this company, at least I can sleep well tonight knowing my locks haven't been compromised.. read more

Terrible customer service1 . I called company and talked to Sean and he sounded like I was bothering him I cannot comment on the quality of their work since they never even called me back. I called to inquire about replacing my front door. He asked me to take pictures of my front doors and they would call me back. About a week passed and I heard nothing so I called them back. I was told they were still reviewing the photos and would call me back.... Hmmm... About 3-5 phone calls later over the next couple of weeks, it became clear that I was getting the runaround and that they had no intention of calling me back to provide a quote. Perhaps they don't need business or didn't want to replace my front door. Judging from the complete lack of professionalism that I experienced just from the phone conversations, perhaps it's better that they didn't install my new door. this is the best locksmith ever!!! i always use yelp to find local good businesses to do business with. but i never ever write reviews. i had to make a account just to write a review about my experience with this company. i needed to re key my entire house after i kicked my girl out, she had my old keys to my house. i called few other locksmiths and they gave me extremely high prices and bad customer service not to mention 45-55 minutes eta. i then came across pro key locksmith from yelp, spoke to sean he quoted me a fair price and a eta of 25 minutes cant beat that!! specially if your on a short time frame. sean then arrived to my location, chatsworth ca within 20 minutes re keyed my entire house with 10 locks within a hour. he gave me 10 new keys and best part about my experience is my old keys no longer work!! now that crazy girl friend of mine has no access to my house ! thank you sean pkl the best read more

Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Dangerous and a SCAM! Showed up an hour and half after they said he would arrive. Sean quoted us to drill through the lock and said that was the only way, we asked them to swipe the side of the lock instead so it does not cause damage , took him two seconds to swipe in, but he still wanted the full price for drilling through the door. If he had his way he would have drilled the lock and ruined it all but made even more money. The company no clear price policy and kept changing their story... DO NOT USE. I would have been scared to be alone with the guy who came, even with my husband there I was nervous - the guy who came relied on intimidation standing in the doorway to get even more money. So we needed a locksmith and somebody referred us to Sean pro key locksmith we called him to come for our front door at our office our gate and all the office door locks to be rekeyed to multiple locks needed multiple keys needed basically we need a lot of stuff done and all of our stuff was old and needed updated Sean was very friendly and give us amazing price and he was very patient with us as a company we had to make a huge decision to change all the locks get rid of the old stuff and put a new one but again I wouldn't have used anyone else then pro key has a great customer service and again if you need anything done call Sean his amazing thank you we definitely we'll be call him for everything from now on again thank you read more

I never write reviews, but in this case I felt obliged to do so...Sean from Pro Key Locksmith was extremely curteous and helpful when I called. My house had just been broken into and I needed all the locks replaced. He came to my house super quick, it felt like 10min. We spoke briefly and him and his team began their work. He could of easily taken advantage and ripped me off because of my situation. However, he was compassionate, curteous, and the service was impeccable and for the type of service and work it was inexpensive. Pro Key Locksmith is FAST, EFFICIENT and FAIR. We were in a pickle with being able to only open one of our two doors to our business. Sean responded to an online YELP quote request within 2 minutes late at night. We scheduled the repair for the following morning and he arrived right on time to service our door. The original quote went out the window when he discovered repair was not necessary, all we needed was some cleaning and light maintenance to our deadbolt. Dealing with locksmiths is usually a pain in the you know what, but working with Sean is a life saver. Just by calling in he answers the phone immediately unlike others who you have to ring three or four times just to get a simple hello. Due to some unexpected damage, I needed to quickly replace the deadbolt on the front door of my residence. I contacted Shawn, of Pro Key Locksmith, to discuss specific options that would allow me to maintain the door handles, while replacing the deadbolt with a similar style and color. He came up with a solution that would satisfy my needs, and was able to install the new deadbolt the next morning. I waited five hours for this company only to have them cancel on me at the last minute. They are very unprofessional and it seems as though they could care less about their customers. I'm very surprised they're still in business conducting themselves the way that they do. This company is no stranger to bad reviews, I would give them a zero rating if I could.
