Even so, ARC replied to me very first. From the moment I reached out, everything was on point. Artem got back to me right away, kept me updated, and showed up exactly when he said he would. Friendly. Not just polite in the "business sense," but genuinely kind and approachable. He treats you like a person, not just a job ticket. No hidden fees, no surprise charges. Everything was laid out before he even started. That kind of transparency builds enormous trust. He even gave me advice for my broken Chevy G20 van window. I like inside info about what techs are good for other services--especially if HE is this good. You can tell he knows locks inside and out. The job was done efficiently and correctly the first time. I thought to myself... holy smokes this is way better than everyone else I've contacted! So I made an appointment. The guys showed up on time and were very courteous and kind, very professional. Did a great job explaining the process to me and it was complete in less than 10 minutes. Here's the rub: they charged me $348 for 10 minutes of work. I was taken aback, especially since the quote began so low. As I looked at the itemized receipt, I saw that there was a $29 show fee, $169 for labor, and $150 for the mailbox lock. I'm always one to pay what's owed but I think Elite Locksmiths overcharge for their services. If I had known that the lock was going to be $150, I would have bought one myself from Lowe's.
