Honest, quality service. Had a car key that I had purchased online and cut by Burdick Security, but was missing the transponder. I'm a new Mother who desperately needed a break. My Mother in Law offered to watch my daughter while I went with my sister to get a pedicure, some lunch, and a beer or two. During this time, a package was delivered to my house. Not wanting to let my dog out, my Mother in Law quickly shut the front door behind her while she went to the porch to retrieve the box. In what must have been a terrifying moment for her, she realized with my baby in her arms, she was locked out. To make matters worse, my Mother in Law didn't have shoes on, her cell phone on her, AND it was raining. Had to make a motorcycle key here but the key they got me felt flimsy. I thought it felt of poor quality but I second guessed myself because they were the professionals. Turns out I was right. Put the key in the ignition and it got jammed inside. Not only was it cheap material but it was poorly cut so t didn't come out and after I felt that it wasn't going too work I tried to pull it out but it didn't budge and after a trying to turn it a few times it snapped. Buyers beware. I called them to see if they would extract the key for me and they said it wouldn't be free. now that's business. read more

I just purchased a 2010 Corolla from a local dealership but it only came with one keyless remote key. I bought a key off eBay for $45 and was told by the dealership that it would cost $105 plus tax to program so that it could actually start the car. I called Seatown Locksmith after hearing that auto locksmiths charge way less. Maurice quoted me over the phone saying it would cost $50 to program the key and another $10 to cut the key. Great. My fiance went in a couple days later, said I had called, and Maurice looked up the appointment. He proceeds to do the job then decides to charge my fiance $80, not $60 for the job. We drove out of our way to Burien, only to save a few bucks, and were lied to about the cost of the service. Make sure you get the quote in WRITING before going out of your way in an attempt to save a few bucks. Sure, we saved a little, but I don't appreciate being lied to. And I could have saved some time to get it done much closer to home at the actual dealership. read more

1st time: I got a newer used car, only 1 key, bummer. Its a jeep, so there's this chip in it and the key is the alarm. OK, i just need a 2nd key, just in case. Sunday morning- 2 days after I installed a new electronic lock on my bedroom door. Lock fails. Fortunately the lock comes with a backup key. But... Probably wasn't a good idea to leave the backup key in the bedroom. I have used these guys before for key duplication and always try to use local companies. So I called them at 8:30am Sunday morning. They answered and 30 minutes later, the lock was unlocked. $120 for Sunday service (a bit high cost for a 30 second lock pick) but with this amazing fast friendly service, and the lesson learned, no regrets! I hope the owner gives a majority of that $120 to the Locksmith that came- he was awesome. Would use them again, and highly recommend them. read more

Very disappointed! I had a new key made five weeks ago. Today it broke off in my ignition. When I called and asked if they would guarantee their work and replace the key, they refused. I find their lack of integrity and unwillingness to stand behind their work very discouraging. I do not recommend this company! Poor customer service. Yep, walk-in locksmiths still exist! And sometimes you need just that! This place was a life saver when my car's ignition locked up and I could not get the key out for the life of me. It was a sort of strange, as my mechanic had to remove the ignition, and I then had to physically bring it in to the locksmith to have the key removed and the part fixed. Honestly I still don't fully understand the situation, but the guy working here handled it with confidence and ease. It was very quick as well!
