Peak, with Amy and Alyson, are excellent in what they do. Both go over and above any other PT specialists I've ever seen. They both are very knowledgeable and helpful. This is not a chain (which has a tendency to overbook and not take the time needed) and the one on one care is outstanding. This is a fully equipped facility that is also warm and inviting and the women who work and run the facility are exceptionally kind and caring. They also take Medicare which is good as so many of us really need help with our bodies as we age. This is the place I will go from now on for my PT needs. If you are within driving distance to the 48116 area give them a call. You won't regret it.

I was referred to this place because the side of my knee causes me pain and the pain travels to my…read morehip. Before seeing a physician, I was sent into xray. I can not stand but for about 30 seconds at a time, for I have a spine injury. This was not taken into consideration as I was being x-rayed. I was in considerable pain by the time I left x-ray and was taken to a room. Where I was seen by a PA-C Physician Assistant who proceeded to move my knee and leg to the point of tears. When the PA-C was finished, he left the room. A few minutes later a doctor : whose name I do not know, for he never introduced himself - came into the room to tell me that he seen no arthritis in my hip and since I won't do physical therapy theres nothing he can do for me and was out the door before I could say anything. The PA-C came back into the room a little time after that, to tell me he was going to give me a cortisone, which if my knee is a muscle problem the medicine would help, if it does not help that would be useful to tell the next specialist I was going to see. A young male nurse came in with a tablet for me to sign, I would not sign without reading what I was signing -which seemed to irrate the nurse. As I was reading the PA-C started jabbing the tip of the shot into the very painful spot on the side of my knee. As I was signing the tablet, the nurse whiched over and checked another box on the tablet and then took the tablet from me. I was then sprayed with a liquid that was running down onto my foot and before the nurse could wipe any of it up, the PA-C gave me the shot. Both then left. I had no time to ask about why the cortisone box was not checked on the tablet and what medicine was that the two boxes were checked. By this time I was in complete agony and in no way could deal with the rude front office. I was taken home and right away my husband called to have a copy of what I had signed on the tablet sent to me. After over a dozen calls, he finally received a link for me to sign up to see my records there. Of course the copy of what we wanted was no where to be found in my records. I also feel that they took what I said and formed it into their words, changing the meaning of what was said. If you are referred here, I highly recommend that you do a lot of research on the place before going there.

I went to Athletico Physical Therapy for shoulder pain. I'm not a stranger to injuries and had been…read morethrough physical therapy for shoulder injuries twice before. But that was for the opposite shoulder...and...I was years younger. This time I had an injury but it didn't bother me much at first. I'd have pain when pushing myself out of bed in the morning and then pretty much the rest of the day I was pain free. But the pain gradually progressed so that it began to interfere with my sleep and with my exercise regimen. Despite trying on my own to reproduce what I had learned previously and following self-help "gurus" on the net I just gradually became weaker, increasingly lost range of motion and had been nearly sleepless for months due to being awakened with shoulder pain. I heard that Athletico had one or more therapists who were pretty skilled with shoulder health. I made an appointment and was immediately pleased to find a clean, spacious and inviting atmosphere, adequate amount of equipment and friendly, understanding staff. Appointment scheduling was easy and flexible and punctuality at each appointment was perfect. Ryan Mertz primarily worked with me (along with ancillary staff) putting me through a progressive regimen of stretches and exercises and in less than 2 months I am sleeping pain-free through the night and have already regained much of my lost range of motion and strength. I've "graduated" now with cautions to keep up with the regimen and take it slow to avoid re-injury. I was also invited to stop by anytime with any questions or concerns. I am very glad that I chose to come here and highly recommend it to others. I also wish to thank all of the staff for their wonderful help and support!
