Had an awesome experience with Mindy! Looked up something close to work (UCI), and was able to do the two things I needed to do in one place. Gel nails and eyebrows. Mindy was kind, quick, and considerate. I was not expecting to get everything done in one spot. How awesome. Definitely coming back. Little wait time, awesome staff and helpful service.

Hate to dock some stars off for them as I LOVE this salon but this past visit was not the best unfortunately :( To start on a positive note, Mary, once again, did a fantastic job with my French tip gel pedicure. She always does it so cleanly and quickly. I always ask for her when getting a pedicure. As for the rest of the visit: (1) We made a reservation for two gel manis + pedis but only one person was attended to for the first hour. After Mary finished my pedicure she moved on to my friend's pedicure but no one came for her manicure. Then after being assigned a person, they moved that person to another client who had an appointment after us which was very disappointing. They were about to make us wait for Don to finish my manicure and then move on to my friend's nails (which, at the rate my nails were being done, would've made our visit closer to 3 hours). I figured they may have been short staffed this time around as all of the typical manicurists we like to go to were not in. But this should've been conveyed over the phone so we could've planned accordingly. (2) I had Don for my manicure for the first time. I always get nail art from here because they do such an amazing job but my experience with Don did not match my typical experience. I am surprised after reading all the good reviews and seeing his past work. He took almost two whole hours to complete my manicure (which is twice the time it has taken other manicurists at the salon). In addition to that, I felt the nail shaping was not done properly (had to ask him to fix multiple times and tell him where exactly I wanted it smoother) and the nail art took a while to do and wouldn't always be the cleanest. I will give him points for taking the time to fix whatever I wasn't happy with but I was not happy with having to go step-by-step on the designs/shaping with him. It wasn't as relaxing of an experience as I usually have when coming here. In the end, the nails turned out well but I just wasn't happy with how long everything took.

Had Emma today who did Gel X French tip manicure for me and she did such an amazing job! She took her time to make sure everything looked perfect before my trip. She was so sweet and we chatted the whole time and felt like talking to a friend. Emma does my manicures and Tracy does my pedicures. Both are amazing technicians. I got a fill with Andy and wasn't sure exactly which design I wanted and he was such a big help. He took my inspo pic and made his some of his own designs and let me tell you, they came out absolutely gorgeous. I think this might be my favorite set by far. I've been coming here for over 2 years now and everyone is so kind and welcoming not to mention great at what they do. If you want your nails looking good I would definitely recommend coming here. I came in for the first time and I absolutely love how my nails turned out. I got a classic pedicure and Taylor did it she did very well. The vibe was nice as well. My mom and I got gel pedi here today. The lady who did my pedicure put zero effort, literally no strength used in "cleaning" and "massaging." She used the scraper tool on my toenails like it's a broom lol no scraping, it was more so sweeping with no effort at all lolol. I was shocked how she gave zero fcks the whole time lol... The pedicure totally sucked. Never coming back here again. I would give this place no star at all but one star for the lady who did the color. read more

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. It was my very first time here since I started a new job down the street and ladies (and gentlemen), this spot is a total VIBE. I walk in and although it was obviously poppin' busy, I was sat down right away for my gel x mani. And even though every nail tech was busy, the ladies would still swing by to see how I'm doing. It felt like a bunch of aunties (and some uncles hehe) just taking care of me and seeing how I'm doing. Lani and Henry did an AMAZING job. Lani helped me at first but Henry took over to help out as more clients came in. Everyone worked so well together and it showed. Not only were the techs warm and welcoming but the clientele was super cool and down to earth ladies, like a little nail party where we all just hype each other up. I've been to nail salons where they take foreverrrrr and my nails would still have obvious imperfections. Here, my nails were done quickly and PERFECT. Not just mine either! Like I said, all the clients were checking out each other's nails like we're all friends and everyone's nails came out so beautiful and perfect. If I could give this nail salon a 10/10, I would. It's nice to treat yourself out from time to time with a pedicure - and that goes for guys too. If you can get past any hangups about going to a nail salon (although I try to go during their least busiest hours) - then you're all set. I haven't had a pedicure since the pandemic started, and recently when I decided to get one again, I found out the old place I went to had closed. I called and made a same day appointment for 2pm. Looking at the location on Google Maps, I imagined that parking would be nightmarish since it was sharing the space with a number of other stores including a dental office and a few restaurants - thus, I figured it would be a good idea to come in right after the lunch rush, but before the evening rush in order to secure a parking spot. Parking was still pretty bad when I got there. The salon honored my appt. time when I walked in. Mary and Tracey were my manicurists for the visit and they were very friendly, efficient and thorough. Mary - who was doing my pedicure - worked out all the gunk around my toes (sry!) and was also able to cut away with a lot of dead/lingering skin. My feet felt great after the visit! The massage chairs were a bit uncomfortable despite me working through each setting to try to find one that was pleasant. I ended up turning it off halfway through the visit. Total for the Luxury Mani & Pedi was $80 including tip for both nail techs (be sure to tip separately if more than one tech worked on you - Mary did the pedicure and Tracey did the manicure). Only downside really was the parking situation - which I thought I had sorted out by coming after the lunch rush, but it was still pretty bad. Will probably try to come here when they first open up in the future. read more

It's last a very long time. I got my dipping powder here and last more than 3 weeks. Different person do for me each time, but they seem all good.

The room was very clean and she played some great music. I got my underarms, nape of neck and sideburns sugared. Everything was pretty easy to get through but this was the first time getting the nape of neck done. It hurt a little more than I anticipated, but reasonably so as it's course hair in a delicate area. Kat did a great job at getting all 3 services done quickly. She laughed with me through the pain of the nape sugaring which is truly what made it easier to handle. By the time we were done, she had put so much attention to detail and left my areas so smooth. Pro Nails is hands down the BEST nail salon I've ever been to. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming -- they treat you like family the moment you walk in. I came This place since they opened but it's given me faith back into trusting others to pamper me. Im a creature of habit so when I'm sold on a business's quality & service, I only go there. One of the things I look for when getting a pedicure is the cuticle work and paint job. I don't really care for the other stuff if I'm being honest. Doesn't matter how pretty it is or nice the massage is, I'm there for the polish work. Hanah whipped out a tiny brush just to perfect the paint work before she finished and it was when I knew, this is the place. Hahaha. Space is beautiful. I know that there are many places that do manicures and pedicures but this place is Awesome. I have been here a few times before but I stopped coming because I moved to Riverside. The sad thing is...it seems like the city of Riverside doesn't seem to have any quality places. I have visited a few from time to time but they were not to friendly and didn't do a good job. So...I made a special trip to this salon to see Cindy, Lani and there staff. They are always so nice and friendly. They always make jokes and are very hospitable. I have been going to this salon for about 2 1/2 years. I go mostly on Sunday afternoon (@ 3pm)without an appointment, but sometimes after work about 530 or 6pm... without an appointment. Never had to wait more than 15 minutes. I love Amy but have also worked with many of the others... knowing some are new. We have to be accepting that some nail salons are owned by different nationalities...if you want 100% English speaking go to the hotels or spas and pay 3 times the fees. I've been coming to Pro Nails for 3 years now and they have always been my go-to for my gel x manicures. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. Today I got a full set from Hannah and she did an awesome job!! I came in not really knowing what I wanted and while I was browsing pictures on pinterest she told me she could do any of them. I'm usually not very adventurous with my nail designs, so an ombre chrome nail was out of my comfort zone. But I ended up loving the results! Went here about a few weeks ago but I forgot to give a rating so I thought that I might as well do it now. I got my nails done twice here by Lani and Yvon. My nails came out beautifully everyone was complimenting me on my nails especially when Yvon did mines. I heard people complain about her telling them to relax, but I can see why she says that because it can be frustrating when clients talk move and tense up their hands.Just stay still and be chill All in all, I love my nails. I had been here before (about a year ago), but things have definitely changed. I have a very strong feeling the business has recently taken on new ownership. These women really pay close attention to detail. The floors are clean, the place where you put your feet, during a pedicure, have brand new (one time use) liners; changed after every use. I haven't been here in a long time, because I moved. I came back in town to visit a friend and took her here to get her nails done. This place is totally different, everything is new, the spa chairs are great, and they did a great job remodeling it (again). They even have coffee, tea or bottle water on the house and even sparkling wine with some of their special packages now. I had a glass or two, lol. They do a really great job here and are the most inexpensive place around town, with a regular pedicure and a gel manicure being only $36! All the girls that work here are so friendly and nice also and they really do a good job to work quickly and make sure that customers don't have to wait too long. At my first appointment, I showed a reference photo of exactly what I wanted. The technician never asked me what shape or length I wanted, and I ended up with nails that were completely different from the reference photo. I brought up my concerns that same day, but I was told the manager wasn't there and that there was nothing the staff could do at the time. The next time I came in, I explained everything to the manager. She told me they would correct my nails and make sure I was happy, so I agreed to have them redone. Based on that conversation, I believed they were going to make the situation right. Had I been told beforehand that there would be no adjustment whatsoever for correcting the previous service, I would have simply gone somewhere else. After my nails were redone, no price adjustment was made. On top of that, I noticed I was being overcharged by an additional $10 based on the price of the services I received. When I tried to address everything with the manager, she told me I should have complained on the day of my original appointment and that there was nothing she could do. I explained that I did complain that day, but her employees told me the manager wasn't there. At that point, I stopped disputing the original service and tried to explain that I would pay what they were asking, but that the bill for this visit was still $10 higher than it should have been. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a significant communication disconnect, and I ultimately paid the amount they requested and left. What bothers me most isn't simply that I didn't like my original nails. Mistakes and misunderstandings happen. It's how the situation was handled afterward. I brought up the problem immediately, returned after being told they would correct it and make me happy, and then was later told I should have said something on the original day when I had already done exactly that. I would have appreciated clear communication from the beginning. If I had known that their idea of "fixing" the situation meant I would still be responsible for the full cost with no adjustment, I would have taken my business elsewhere. The additional $10 overcharge on the second visit only made an already frustrating experience worse.

Unfortunately, she wasn't available today, so I was assigned to someone else. I went in with a very simple plan: remove my current gel builder set and get a basic manicure with cuticle cleanup. I was very clear that I'm coming back in two weeks (for my baby shower, which I mentioned multiple times) to get a fresh gel builder set with Katelyn. Today, I was completely fine leaving with bare, natural nails. During the service, the nail tech asked if I wanted a clear coat. I said sure. Then she mentioned she would apply a thin layer of gel builder "just to keep my nails strong" until I come back. The way it was presented sounded like a small courtesy, not an added service--so at no point did I think I was agreeing to an extra $50 charge. I get to the register and my total is $70. $20 for a manicure... and $50 for gel builder. I was completely blindsided. If I had known I was being charged for gel builder, why would I agree to a THIN, clear layer with no color? That makes zero sense, especially when I specifically said I'd be coming back for a full set in two weeks. I felt genuinely misled. When I questioned it, I was told it was because the tech applied gel builder. I explained that I had clearly asked for just a manicure before being seated, and no one mentioned any additional costs at any point. They apologized and took off $20 plus 15%, but I still ended up paying $50 for something I didn't ask for and didn't want. At that point, I felt so uncomfortable and frustrated that I just paid and left. But honestly, the damage was done. This completely ruined my trust. Why would I come back in two weeks (or ever) when I've basically already paid for a service I didn't even want? I'm really disappointed because I loved coming here and it's so close to home, but the lack of transparency and communication today was unacceptable. Please be very careful and ask about every single charge before agreeing to anything here. Better yet, just don't come here at all.
