You know, there just are few things more relaxing than putting paint on your nails and sticking your hands in small UV lamp ovens! All of my greatest joy, thanks to Melanie Woodard. One of the most wonderful and kind people I have ever met. Not to mention, by far the best nail artist. She is booked weeks in advance, and that is for a reason! The quality of the products she uses is the best you can get, the shop is ultra clean, and the cost could not be more affordable! Samantha Owens, who is the lash artist at Talk Of The Town, is the best of the best. She offers premium lash extensions (curled and straight) and charges $60 for fill-ins. I believe the initial cost for the first set is $110.00, but I will update if incorrect. These extensions last on myself for 4 weeks! Impressive, but quality and proper technique go a long way! Talk Of The Town also offers hair cutting and coloring services, waxing, facials, pedicures, skin rejuvenation among many other services. If you live in Polk County, give the salon a call for your next appointment! I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised! My nails are always phenomenal and my hair always looks fantastic! Every time I think they can't get better they always seem to step up their game a little bit more! My nails were not shaped correctly, there is acrylic powder still on my skin, and the thin line I asked for on my toes, eneded up being wide lines. I was brushed off when I asked for it to be fixed... I was told when it grows out it will look better, instead of just fixing it. This establishment use to be top notch. I truly do not know what has happened here. However I hope they can get thier quality back.

Wow. I am so disappointed. I've been coming here for 10 YEARS. Originally I received a discount of…read more20% because the full set of acrylic toes popped off, so when I came in yesterday I got a full set on my hands. I showed Golden the inspiration, and he tried his best. He was wonderful, kind and sweet. Nothing bad to say about him or than the design was not what I wanted at all, the sides were lifting a bit, and he cut 2 fingers. I called and originally just told them the design was messy, because I've been coming there for 10 years! Why explain their other bad services when every other time was fine? They quoted me $25 to fix it. That's when I explained Golden cut me and nails were lifting. They were firm on $25 so I expressed I would leave a review. They called me back and refused to service me. I was on my way already, so when I came in I was recording my interaction. (Everyone does, it's 2026!) I asked her why she was so angry at me and I expressed I've been a loyal customer. I was calm and respectful. She refused to service me. When they treat loyal long term customers like this, I will NEVER recommend this business again. I am hurt and disappointed.
