POOR ATTITUDES & LOW QUALITY, RUSHED NAIL WORK. walked in with my daughter, it was slow. long story short, I came in asking for a full set acrylic nails, she gave me Gel X. I asked multiple times for acrylic directly to the lady helping me, she said it is (we both know it's not.) and she didn't remove my previous nail color completely before placing the glue on gel X nails. The previous is still visible on the sides on my finger nails, I pointed it out to her, the daughter and the husband. She seemed upset and said I was making it hard so maybe next time her husband will do my nails. I told them I wasn't trying to make anyone upset and would just like quality nails because it did end up being $150 for our nail visit. and would like better quality. They both had POOR attitudes and my sisters and I will NOT be back or recommend to anyone. I did pay the full asking price bc I'm not a loser who robs people of their time. read more

I took my friend for pedis. I was turned away saying they were too busy and to come back. Different day both in the same week walked in for wax. It was 6:30 pm, their sign says open till 7pm. Again turned away she was too busy doing someone's nails. I took my business elsewhere. Pro nails you let $102 walk away. I will NEVER go there again. Don't be surprised when your business closes. Felt like getting my toes done and called almost 3 other places and they were fully booked. Wanted to try this place out since they had an opening and right up the street from where I live. Upon calling the lady I spoke to on the phone was really sweet. Had a 3:30pm appointment. Walked in, was greeted, asked to select my nail polish and to have a seat. My toes were done by the husband named Quang. Such an amazing guy! He asked me questions and we just had a fun vibe together. This place is super family friendly! I got the deluxe pedicure for $40 and it felt amazing! I'm not from here because I'm visiting a friend that lives here but when I do come more often I most definitely will be coming back! It's disheartening to see that this salon only has 1 star! The salon next to my house consistently has an hour wait so I decided to try this one and I'm super happy that I did! At first glance the salon looks a little dated, but I don't go for the decor. There was only one other customer and I didn't have to wait at all; that is a huuuuge bonus. They have a ton of shellac (gel) polish colors and you can't beat a shellac manicure at $20! The woman who did my nails was meticulous and made sure that my nails looked amazing. I was happy that she didn't rush through it and took the time to make sure every coat was even. If I'm ever in the Layton area I will definitely come back here. read more

Cindy, Titi (not sure if spelling correctly), and Steven were all amazing. Seriously an unbeatable place for the quality of product and customer service. This will be my new go-to place. I'm sorry, these are terrible. Took my 8 year old niece to get her nails done. I don't live in the area so wasn't familiar with this place. Older interior, needs to be renovated. She wanted pink on all her nails, with one nail with glitter on the top, with a heart on another nail. I look over and she starts adding glitter to the nails. I told her to stop and leave them pink, only one nail gets glitter, I come back and they all have it over the pink. Then my niece asked for a heart. Well they failed at the heart (I was with my other niece so didn't notice until it was too late). A heart turned into a blob, then tried to cover it up with glitter balls and red dots..... ? I was so confused. Very disappointed but my niece was happy so didn't say anything. Then we get into the car and she looks at her nails more closely and asked were her heart was and why she got a circle, she was almost in tears and it broke my heart ... I am on vacation near SLC and needed a place to get my nails done while I wanted for my boyfriend. I chose this place because it was close. As someone who gets their nails done every two weeks (and have been doing so for about 7 or 8 years) I have seen a lot of nail salons. This salon was one of the dirtiest I've ever seen. I am so thankful I did not get a pedicure. None of their tools were sanitized, he was just pulling them out of his drawer with peoples cuticles still on them! Additionally, there were only two people working and he told 4 of us we could have appointments at the same time. It took well over an hour to get a manicure (in my experience only takes about 40 minutes). He was going back and forth doing my nails and someone else's toes AT THE SAME TIME. Lastly, my nails look terrible. There is polish all over my skin and my cuticles look almost the same, if not worse than when I went in. The only saving grace this place has is that the man who runs it is very nice and will have a friendly conversation with you while doing your nails. There are a TON of other nail salons in this area, DO NOT choose this one. read more

I used to go to 99 nails next to the Smith's in Syracuse, but it's always busy and I'm never 100% satisfied with how quickly they are trying to pump people through. This is the second time I've been to Pro Nails, and my experience is wonderful! The people are very engaged and kind. Also, they take their time with whatever they're doing.
