my little sister just went there and this was her experience... she's special needs and nails are a treat for her, she loves them... they make her feel special and pretty and she shows them to everyone... my mom texted me this this morning... "She had really low self esteem because of the jerk who did her nails. She has been going there for 4 or so months. She asked the guy to paint her nails black and Orange for Halloween. He said "No, I'll paint then the color I want". He then proceeded to paint them pink. (Her friends were there with her and heard it all) I called and asked to talk to the manager (lee). He kept saying lee busy. So I told the story to whomever I was talking to - (on loud speaker) and this guy kept giving me the runaround. After I got angry with him I hung up. The girls said "that WAS lee, the owner/manager". What jerks - taking big time advantage of a disabled person." My little sister is upset at her treatment there, don't support them, their work is absolute rubbish and you're nothing but a dollar sign to them. They did okay except after committing to service I noticed work spaces and tools weren't clean of nail debris. Asked for gel nail they acted like it was a problem after I asked them to be ombré. The girl was rough and didn't do a thorough cuticle removing after asking her to twice like my other nail lady does. Full gel set over priced. It looked great for about a week then they fell off. Lady also didn't file down under the nail bed so it looked thick like candy. Yes I know nail beds get damaged when doing this. But it's been 2 months and they've barely come back from being brittle. Got an appointment and the lady told me her name and said she'll take care of me. When I arrived she asked me to wait and she was taking care of another customer. I waited 25 minutes; It was only her working in the shop So i got patience; but then a guy showed up and he wants to do my nail; which I remember him hurting my skin before. I refused to allow him to do the job and suddenly she said I have to wait for an hour. Seriously, no courtesy at all. I've always gone to this nail salon and the service is wonderful. The artists are very nice and caring for you and your nails. I've always gotten the cat eye gel nails and they always look so beautiful and last longer than any nail polish I've ever bought or had done anywhere else. I usually don't usually frequent mall "nail shops", but i was desperate. I was in Utah visiting for the weekend and i needed my nails done for the Marine Corps ball. I went in asking for a mani and pedi. The male nail actually wanted to talk me OUT of getting a pedi. I had asked for color suggestion for my cobalt color dress. He asks "Will the dress cover your toes?" Me; "yeah". Tech: "so you really don't need a pedi". O_O . So we proceed with the mani. I picked out my own color. They definitely are NOT the cleanest place. The tools that they used were NOT brand new and it didn't look clean at all. This place is just YUCK!!! Looking back... I've given this place three chances, and I'm just not impressed. The staff is friendly, and I like that they have the kid-sized pedicure chairs. But the pedicures I have received have only lasted a week. For the price, it's not worth it. Lilly nails, in Clearfield is so much better, and half the price. FUNGUS....I would have given negative review if at all possible...I made the unfortunate decision to come here for a mani/pedi when I had time while waiting for my car to be serviced. Initially happy with the mani/pedi...looked nice. 2 weeks later I filed the gel off my nails only to find fungus...so that has led to a co-pay for my doc, bloodwork to check liver function before I start a 12 week course of oral anti- fungal, with another blood draw halfway through treatment. We came in to make an appointment and they said they could fit us in now. Little did we know the man working on my nails was clearly in a hurry to leave as his shift was over. He soaked one hand for about 20 seconds while filing the skin off of my dry other hand. He never had me wash my hands after filing and it was grainy and awful. He barely did anything to my cuticles which is the whole point of paying to get a manicure. I can do poor paint job on my own. Due to his hurry he used a black base instead of doing multiple layers on color. Therefore, It looks nothing like the color I chose, and is reminiscent of my emo middle school days instead. He also left such a gap at the base of my nails it looks like they've been growing out for two weeks. He also left gaps on the sides, yet somehow managed to get it on my skin. Meanwhile my mom is awkwardly waiting 20 minutes at a chair to have no one come. The whole time I assumed it was just an awful nail salon, but the person that eventually showed up for my mom did the full cuticle care/manicure I did not receive. read more

Walked in for 2 pedicures at 7 on a Friday night, we were seated right away. They took time and did a great job. Took about an hour for a pedicure and shellac on toes. we walked in the upstairs one and the lady was chomping on food while she was talking to us and then food flew out of her mouth! it reeked of fish and just looked dark and dirty. i went to sit down and pick a color to get them painted, but it's almost like she was rushing me to pick. i was trying to see what color would go best with the theme for my sisters wedding. she was very aggressive with my hands and nails and i couldn't really understand what she was saying to me. she made them look super messy and just didn't do a good job at all:( i was very frustrated because i couldn't communicate well enough with her to tell her what the problem was. we told her to do them very nicely because they are for my sisters wedding, but it's almost like she did the total opposite! my best friend, who is 15, has shellac/gel nail polish and a UV/LED light. she's done my nails before and did a much better job then someone who is supposed to be professional. it was also $25 for it! read more

I have my own nail girl, but my thumb nail broke and I needed it repaired and a fill ASAP. I was already at the mall and figured, what the heck, they can't mess up a thumb nail. Well, my thumbs don't even match, the nail tech who did my nails did a sloppy job. The nail she "fixed" looks fat and ugly. She also drilled my pinky nail too long and kicked the corner off and she didnt even try to fix it. I only went in there because the guy at the front desk said a fill would be 30 min, that shit took over and hour. Then she tried to charge me $35 for a fill and nail repair. Their sign says a fill is $16 and nail repair is $4. She told me that gel nail polish is $15 extra. Umm what?!?!?! Originally she quoted me $31 & then she did the gel cover without asking me and charged me $4 for that. Then all of a sudden when I asked for a breakdown, she said uhhh, gel is $15. So I rolled my eyes and she said she'd give me gel for free and charged me $31. So clearly she was full of shit. Her English was very broken so arguing was just irritating. I had the most horrible experience here. I walked it to get my acrylics done about a week or two ago. The woman who did my nails was very careless. She would toss my hand down and very roughly pick them up. I told her what I wanted on my nails and she huffed and puffed about it (glitter tips, that's all I wanted). She started filing the wrong shape so I asked her kindly to fix it. She tried to convince me out of the color I wanted. I gave in and chose a different color...only to have her paint them the wrong color anyways. My nails are so uneven. There's bubbles and sides that look completely different. During the service I noticed that one of my fingers really started hurting. Later that night my fingers were in so much pain-past the point of just being annoying. I have had acrylic multiple times before and I had never been in so much pain. I wouldn't even let my fiancé hold my hand. I called one of my good friends who is a nail specialist with Paul Mitchell. She informed me that she had either bruised my nail beds or filed off way too much of my natural nail. I couldn't get them removed because it would be too painful so I had to wait it out.
