It is a good size shop with plenty of chairs, clean environment and friendly service. We were all happy with our organic pedicures and regular manicures. My mom also did gel on her toes and loved how they turned out. All the workers were very sweet, friendly and talkative with us, which we enjoyed. Annie! No need to ask if she's ok because I'll tell you... She's awesome! I found myself in this small town with a few hours to spare and nails in need of desperate attention. I passed by this place, then went on Yelp to check the reviews, of course. I arrived and was taken as a walk-in. Annie soaked off my old dip powder as I picked out a new color from their available dip powder collection. I picked out a color, but as she was attending to my natural nails, her Halloween nail art caught my attention. I complimented her on the designs and said that I would love those same designs but I feared my nails were too short. Annie assured me that she could do the art on my natural, short nails. Hesitantly, I agreed to get the Halloween nails, but I was certain that it wouldn't turn out right. OH YE OF LITTLE FAITH! Annie is a PRO! Every little intricate detail of the graveyards, flying crows, ghost, and cat face were perfectly hand painted on my little nails. I was completely at awe! She also did some alternating between gloss and matte finishes on the nails. Then she added some fancy little swirly lines on a couple of the matte nails. It was just too cute. I've never loved a natural nail manicure more. And the icing on the cake? I got these nails done on 11Oct, and they lasted until I got them redone on 03Nov! Plain ole gel polish lasting almost a month with no chipping or anything?! Inconceivable! Oh, and she's hella nice too! We were giggling like best friends. She's the best. I don't know that I'll ever be in the area again, but if I am, you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be returning to see Annie. I had a bad experience here with a bad French mani. The owner contacted me and told me to come in and he would fix it. OMG and fix he did. I was in there for 1 hr and everything came out beautiful this time. He graciously apologized for my bad experience, and THANKED ME for coming in again so they could make it correct. I hadn't been in for a while (almost a year!) and my feet and hands were looking rough, I remembered Hanna from a while ago so I booked with her and I'm so glad I did. I wanted to keep my nails shorter and natural with the gel nail overlay, no tips, with gel polish on top. I wasn't sure about shape because my nails were kind of janky, she made them look good! I give it 5 stars specifically for the man in charge. Unsure his name but the male who answers the phone and greets you (poss manager?) was a delight. Very helpful, friendly and assisted the workers . He saw I had questions to my nail tech and would always come to help . Seems like a great place to bring a big group. Overheard him and believe you can bring your own wine here. I personally felt my nail tech wasn't the friendliest or very personable but I'll let it slide. Also I thought it was weird they didn't have matching gel and regular polish for all their colors which was unfortunate. But regardless I'd recommend it, again I he male manager guy was awesome (sorry idk his name but hope he read this). Keep up the good work buddy read more

Everything about my experience was good except for my nails. I had noticed the technician not painting all the way up to my cuticle and asked her to paint the polish on closer to my skin. She did for the first 2 nails, then maybe forgot? or thought she was doing it. Anyways the nails speak for themselves, I got them done yesterday and they look 1 week old already. She also cut my skin on my ring finger cuticle and it bled- didn't even clean it up. Really poor job! read more

I had visited in the past and had good service but this last visit has made me decide to look elsewhere. I suspect that my appointment was not entered in the book. After waiting 30 minutes past appointment time, I asked if there was a problem? From there on out, I was rushed through a "deluxe" pedicure and a manicure where no polish was even applied. Yet, I paid full price and even tipped. After considering my frustration, I gave the salon a chance to make things right by writing my concerns and addressed the letter to management. New to Northfield and needed to find a good place for a pedicure so I've been going to Pro Nails the last few months and decided it was time to read a review. I don't go to a specific person so I feel like I've been able to explore several of their employees this way. I get the regular or the "original" which is your basic pedicure running $30 these days. Usually I'm in and out in 30 minutes as I always call ahead and set up an appointment so to avoid showing up when they've just sat a pedicure party for 5 or something ;-). My overall rating is between a 3-4 because it's a basic pedicure, they do a decent job but I don't think there's any "go the extra mile" kinda customer service going on even after they realize you're a returning customer every 2 weeks like clockwork. I'd be happy with just a little extra time exfoliating honestly but like I said they do a decent job but I have also tried LA Nails and received the same quality pedicure but for $28 so if they want to charge higher for a basic pedicure I think they should differentiate themselves in at least a subtle way. read more
