When inside the house the technician kept calling the boss and confuses, stated I need an Freon and color dye to test for leak, but why they didn't do it for the first time instead of double charge. This time another $483 now total about $1000. I was quoted to replace the coil which is $4339 which is one year warranty. I'm sure they're scamming me for the truth. I called another HVAC my neighbor referred me. They came out with no charge inspected my HVAC unit from the leaks got a complete install for 10 years warranty for $1466. They came out within a week later with the coil and installed professionally done. Fayette Heating & Air wanted $4339 compared to $1466 it's a big scammer Fayetta. And I can see you got lots of complaints with 1 & 2 Stars you should stop this scams practices. $1466 professional installed instead by another HVAC Company. You were trying to scam me for $4339

Also the install manager we worked with was great as well, I can't remember his name but he was super knowledgeable and honest. I called and made an appointment with Brother Bill's Heating and Cooling. Spoke to him and explained my situation and how I am on a fixed income with very little money coming in right now after my husbands passing. Before hanging up with him he asks to pray with me and I of course said absolutely which brought me to tears. His son James came at about 5 pm and worked on my air for almost an hour. He was very professional and thorough in servicing the unit. Replacing the capacitor and putting in a pound of freon. As we were settling the bill James gets a call from his dad and after talking he hangs up and proceeds to hand me the receipt and says to me that his dad said to tell me that I can pay as much as I can when I can, but if I can't then to just consider it a gift. I was dumbfounded and began to cry. I am so grateful to Brother Bill's Heating and Cooling for their generosity towards myself and my kids. Customer service was absolutely fantastic and Tyler W. was accommodating and gave us clear explanations as to what was wrong. We received a text message with a picture of the employees so we knew who to expect and what they looked like. Arlinghaus has to send another worker out to discuss prices on a new furnace. Tyler was able to get our furnace working temporarily as we look into buying a new furnace. It cost $89 for him to come out and diagnose the problem. They will remove this from any extra work they may need to do. Unfortunately, in the end we could not afford even the lowest option they had for a furnace. They use a top furnace line brand and are more expensive then the national average. This was the only draw back for me that it was to expensive and I did not want to enter into a loan for a $7,000 furnace when the average homeowners pay is $3100. Regardless, they were transparent and did not pressure me into anything we didn't want to do. I highly recommend Arlinghaus for their professionalism and honesty with their customers.
