Unfinished Work, Poor Craftsmanship, and a False Lien Threat…read more I hired Ybarra Professional Builders to complete work in my home, including renovating the upstairs bathroom. While the project was technically completed, the quality was completely unacceptable. The bathroom sink leaks, and the grout in both the shower and floor is already coming up. I brought in licensed professionals to inspect the issues, and they confirmed the floor was improperly installed and the sink was not installed correctly either. Despite these clear defects, the company has refused to return and fix the problems. To make matters worse, I just received a Notice of Intent to File a Mechanic's Lien claiming I owe them $16,016.00--which is outrageous and completely false. They included charges for services they never performed, such as: Cabinet resurfacing (they did nothing to my kitchen cabinets) Interior painting (they partially painted my living room, which I already paid for--and even that was incomplete) I've kept all of my receipts and documented what was paid. I paid for the bathroom remodel, but it was done poorly and without accountability. There is absolutely no way they did $16,000 worth of work in my home. This feels like a scare tactic to get paid for work they didn't do or didn't do correctly. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They do not stand behind their work, and now I'm dealing with legal threats for charges that are clearly inflated and inaccurate. If you're considering using them--think twice and document everything. This experience has been stressful, costly, and incredibly disappointing.

They refuse to fix their work after I paid them. They did a simple pour to extend our patio and I told them to grade the floor because my yard has a slope and Jorge the main guy said they will, when they finished the pour and the concrete dried I pointed out the there's at least a 2 inch slope there because they didn't grade the floor. When I asked if they can fix it the woman, Herminia got defensive and claimed they did it right. I asked them to correct the errors and they said they will when they come back to do the rest of the sidewalk because they can't just buy a small amount of concrete coloring and have to buy it in a 50lb bag. Heminia gave me back $200 and said my final amount is $1,900 instead of $2,100 because they didn't finish the sidewalk. When I texted her to ask when will they come back to finish the job she said she will ask Jorge and will get back to me. She text me back a couple of hour later and said, Jorge said he had a bad experience with me and they're not coming back to finish the work. This has been bad service and a bad job and I will not recommend this company to anyone.
