I feel bad because I started out with one of those (silent service please) cards on the stool ((sorry Angella)) but as the service got started, she gave me tidbits of information on what she was doing and why. She also gave me a few pointers on what i can do at home or on my own time and with that, we just started talking and she walked me through alot of the process which i loved. She was incredibly knowledgeable, strategic, and every movement had a purpose. She definitely kicked my butt (which for 8 days out or surgery, it was to be expected) but it wasn't painful at all. She was able to get all the fluids moving in my body and it was very relieving. When the service was done and I stood up to change back into my clothes, I could notice a huge difference with a reduction of swelling. Even as I'm sitting at home, I expected to feel kind of crappy after because of all the toxins being pushed out but I feel great. I can not say enough good things about Angella. Instead of a careful, deliberate approach, the practitioner repeatedly pressed or hit painful areas and then asked if the pain improved. When I said it hadn't, he quickly added multiple needles in the same area of my head without much explanation. The process felt rushed and reactive rather than thoughtful or planned. All of the needles were placed in my head, which is very different from my past experiences, and there was little effort to explain the reasoning behind this approach. I left feeling uncomfortable and unconvinced that there was a clear treatment strategy. What concerned me most was the lack of professionalism. At one point, he even stated that he is "not a great acupuncturist," which seriously undermined my confidence in the care I was receiving. He also mentioned using random images from the internet for his website, which made me question the credibility of the business overall. These were not even his patients on the site. I've had acupuncture elsewhere, and this experience felt significantly below the standard I would expect. Others may have different experiences, but I felt uncomfortable with both the technique and the overall professionalism.

That's how good I think he is. He takes the time with you, you get to listen to soothing music while you undergo treatment, and the pain is gone either right when you leave or shortly after. I go to him because I have upper back problems. My 5-7 vertibrea have calcium hooks on them and it can be very painful. At my worst time, it took three treatments before the pain was gone. I have also gone to him for Facial Neuropathy - Trigeminal Neuropathy. The nerves in my face are scared, and I can get excruciating pain that can last for months - but if I go in to him for treatments, the pain has gone away in one treatment..
