**BEWARE *** SCAMMERS *** ZERO STARS *** I have made several purchases from this place such as Boxing Gloves, MMA Gloves and Shin Guards as well as several miscellaneous products. My next purchase was going to be the 350lbs free standing heavy bag. I went into the Topanga Canyon Blvd location to inquire about the bag, an older gentleman who I had never seen before helped me. When I inquired about the bag, he told me I was mistaken and the bag was $1200. I explained to him that I was quoted $799 previously by other employees (two brothers to be exact, twins I think, or very similar looking) He told me I was wrong it wasn't the 350lbs bag. I told him that it was once advertised online (which they have since stopped putting the large bags online). All he could tell me was that I was wrong and to prove it and show him. Which obviously I cannot because they took it offline. I was taken back by his approach to tell me to prove it. So I just said, forget it. Then he said, "Okay you want that bag for $800. I will sell it to you for $800." But, I really got the feeling he was just trying to get a few extra dollars. I thought it was shady, so I left with the intention of contacting the business number provided online. When I left, I called what I "thought" was the companies business phone. Pro Boxing Supplies is no company. It is at best an incompetent Micky Mouse family owned business. A young lady answered the phone and I explained everything that had happened. During the explanation I heard her giggling. Almost as if she knew something was up. She then told me that it is a family operated business. She told me that YES the 350lbs bag was once online for $799 but they took it off. She then said that she had 2 of the 350lbs bags ON SALE at her Laural Canyon location for $699. She tried to get me to purchase them over the phone (thank god I declined) I told her I would come in later. When I arrived at the Laural Canyon location. There was a girl in the front who escorted me to an area where there were 2 of the 350lbs bags sitting there with 1 of the 250lbs bag. I said, "Are these the 350lbs bags for $699?" She said, "They are $799." I said, "I talked to a young lady this morning who quoted me $699 on the phone." She said, "That was me, they are $799." I said, "You told me this morning you had 2 of the 350lbs bags for $699?" She said, "No I didn't. I said $799." I was like, "Okay." So I thought about it. "Okay, I will take it for $799." She took me to the register. I gave her $550 CASH. I gave her a Visa for the remaining $325. It was $875.00 with tax. After the purchase she walked over to where an employee had just started to load the 350lbs bag onto a dolly. She then said, "Thats the wrong one, it's the 250lbs bag for $799." I was like no, you just told me as we stood in front of "them" that "they" are $799. That's after you told me this morning you had two for $699. Then she said, "No I didn't. I said the 250lbs. bag." Just for clarification, there were not even 2 of the 250lbs bags sitting there. There were two 350lbs bags sitting there. So that made absolutely no sense. At this point I'm over the games they are playing. I said, "Forget it. I want my money back." As I stood at the register for my refund, another employee and obviously another incompetent family member, told me to wait as he made some calls. I'm not even kidding, as I stood there, the price of the item changed about 6 times. It even went above $1200. In ONE DAY the bag changed in price from $1,200 to $800 to $699 to $799 back to $1,200 then to $1399 then down to $1,100 then to $1,000 then back up to $1,200.00....?!? I said, "Just give me my money back." So the girl counted the cash back to me and then refunded my Visa Card. My instinct told me to count the cash, this place is shady. Sure enough, she shorted me $100. She counted out $450. I said, "I gave you $550 dollars cash." She said, "it was a mistake". It was completely obvious it was one of those, "I hope he doesn't count the money and walks out short. When he comes back and says I gave him $450. I will just say NO, I gave you $550 dollars, prove it.. (a he said she said moment.) UNBELIEVABLE! She literally just tried to hustle $100 dollars away from me. There are way to many competitors out there to even deal with this shady, incompetent family affair. At this point, I will NOT recommend their products to the many many people I encounter on a daily basis. I will also NOT wear the gloves I currently own from Pro Boxing Supplies in public and advertise this anything but "Pro" family circus. STAY AWAY. There are TONS of better choices... read more

I know the owners personally. I have enjoyed this #PROBOXING place for many reasons. The owners are among my fellow #TOPFAMOUS #TOPATHLETES . Many #TV & #CINEMA as well as my fellow #TOPCELEBRITIES obtain #PROBOXINGSUPPLIES here. I have tried most of the items personally during my exercising. I actually love the supplies, & am not saying that only because the owners have given me free food, housing, money, exercise equipment utilization to again be in #TOPATHLETE status physically, & more. The selection of gear is top-notch. They had everything from gloves and wraps to bags and apparel. The quality is excellent, and you can tell they really care about stocking the best brands for every level, whether you're just starting out or training competitively. Nancy and Sayed were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me find exactly what I needed and even gave some great tips on care and sizing. I have been buying Martial arts gear there for over 20 years. They treat you like family. Most of them are old school Martial Artist so be respectful cause they might build a cage in the back parking lot and choke you till you tapout. They can accommodate a person that has only $100 to buy enough gear to prevent a hemorrhage to a person that wants to spend a bit more on gear that will last a life time. I came in looking for some everlast gloves, as I've driven by here hundreds of times living in the area. They have a lot of stuff, and the staff was very polite, but unfortunately the place was a mess and the prices were a bit unreasonable. They tried pushing the house brand on me... but I've been an everlast girl all my life so I ended up going home and getting them off amazon for a bit less than they asked - including shipping. When it comes to buying Boxing equipmert in the valley there's not much choice. Mostly finding myself ordering online and waiting for the delivery. Which is why I like Pro Boxing. It's the only Boxing gear store in town. It's so nice to actually be able to physically walk in see and touch and try on what youre looking for and take it home with ya.
