From the start I knew this was not a place that was customer friendly...customer service was horrendous ....bought a product ...days later ( after I emailed) they confirmed my order ...the product arrived in a pouch instead of a box. I train regularly and Revgear makes the BEST gear on the market. It's one of those brands that is an absolute sleeper in the industry and is secretly the best brand in the market. I feel like people think that the best gear is the most expensive and Revgear blows that stigma out of the water in my opinion. I started out with a couple pairs of their boxing gloves - they'd been in business a while so I figured brands that endure the volatile martial arts gear market for a long period of time do so because they focus on making quality gear instead of gear that is trendy or gimmicky. After a year and a half of regular bag work and sparring, they're the most durable and comfortable boxing gloves I've ever owned - their S5 Boxing Gloves are the most versatile gloves on the market - they've outlasted my Fairtex Gloves and my Hayabusa Gloves. Their S4 Sentinel Gloves displace some of the weight in the wrists so you don't get that feeling like you have weights hanging off your knuckles and my movements feel so much more fluid when wearing them. Happy with their boxing gloves, I bought a pair of their MS1 MMA Gloves, one of their new Bionic Rashguards, their "Venice" Gi. Lo-and-behold, the MS1 gloves were everything I've always wanted, and the palms' construction made it super easy to maintain grips while grappling and clinching during sparring. The Bionic Rash Guard was put to the test in Nogi BJJ class and after 12 rounds back-to-back, I was the only one in class whose rash guard wasn't soaked and had that greasy feel to it - they're made for those brutal days on the mats and legit keep you dry and comfortable. The Venice Gi was (for me) what solidified Revgear as the BEST manufacturer in the Industry. It's got a clean look, stands right up next to Origin Gi's and made me pull my shoyoroll gi's out of my normal rotation. Plus the subtle red stitching is a sweet touch that drew a lot of looky-loos at class. I like my Venice Gi better than my Origin Axiom Gi (sorry Jocko) and it's more than half the price - plus the more you wear it, the more naturally comfortable it gets. I think they're about to blow up in the BJJ, MMA, and Boxing Markets - i don't see how they couldn't because eventually, gimmicks die off and quality persists. read more

This is their headquarters and there is no store...however I decided to call and see if they will let me stop by anyways to get boxing gloves. The guy (i think Mike) I spoke with gave me a disclaimer that they don't normally sell to individuals from their office but it happens once in awhile. Today was a "once in a while". They were friendly, informative and gave a grab bag of free stuff on the way out! For those already in the know about training in boxing and mma know they got good products. It appears that my experience was a one off from the regular experiences that everyone else has had and it saddens me. I gave them a 1 because zero wasn't an option. Worst customer experience I have ever had. I had ordered shorts for a major event and I ordered them with three weeks before the event. After two weeks no shorts. I live in Northern California and RevGear is in So Cal. Three weeks is enough time right?! Wrong. After calling and talking to Stephanie three times with no call backs I tried one more time at 4:40pm, I had been calling since 10am. Once again no call back. The next day I called 6 times with no answer I then called from another number and magically the phone was answered. I was promised the shorts the next day. Wrong again. The next day instead of shorts I get an email saying its again going to be another day. So I call again and ask for a manager. I got Ben Bass. He too promised me a call back after a lengthy discussion... And what do you know No Call Back. Instead I get an email, no missed call, no voicemail. Worst experience ever! Awesome experience here. They let me pick up my order on location and the super cool receptionist lady treated me like a guest in here own home and I even got a bunch of cool stickers and stuff. I was just stopping in to help my friend with an order but ended up finalizing my own account and picked up a bunch of new gear as well. Stephanie at the front is amazing. So helpful and friendly! I like to think I'm a nice guy but being that I was there for over an hour browsing and asking a million questions and taking up her time, I could have easily been one of those "annoying" customers that you'd hate to deal with. Had a disappointing experience with RevGear. Was fully intending to purchase an item from them that they were promoting. The item looked great in pictures and I was ready to pay right there. I'm also someone who has a somewhat recognized name in the MMA community and after purchasing, would have given reviews publicly to try and get more to purchase said item. However, neither now will be happening. Since Monday, I've called twice (left a voice mail and spoke to a rep who didn't have answers but said she'd deliver my information - name and number- to the person who handles product information), and left messages via both Facebook and Twitter only to not get anything resembling a response, it's clear that they don't want my business and I will be taking my money elsewhere. It's a shame because I really like the item and the question I had, while not listed on the website, was a far cry from a difficult one. I also understand they are a busy company and wasn't expecting an immediate response, yet to not get a reply of any kind after 5 days sends a clear message. read more
