I am very disappointed with the customer service I received at the Lowe's in Staunton, Virginia. I…read morewas in the carpet section patiently waiting for assistance. At first, I saw three staff members helping a family with carpet, so I waited respectfully for them to finish. While I was standing there, two other staff members walked by without saying excuse me, acknowledging me, or asking if I needed help. After the family was helped and sent on their way, one staff member continued assisting them with something else, while three staff members were still in the area. Another customer even came in, but no one ever asked if I needed assistance. I was clearly standing in the carpet section, walking back and forth, waiting for someone to help me. I would think that if a customer is standing nearby watching staff cut carpet, it would be obvious that they may need assistance as well. I left feeling ignored and frustrated. I am now driving all the way to the Home Depot in Waynesboro, where I have heard the service is better. I am not happy with the lack of customer service I experienced today.

Asked a question about how they run their sander in a video, and got a response with attitude instead of a helpful or informative response, then blocked by their instagram shortly after. I simply asked why they run their sander with the handle up so high and got called a know it all instead of an informative response. Could've just said it's a specialized sander that's designed for that instead of blocking me after getting defensive.

We worked with Aaron Sheaves (Sheaves Floors, LLC) and his team to refinish and restain (a totally…read moredifferent color) the red oak hardwood floors on the entire main level of our home; replace the stairs and stain them the same color as the main level; and replace carpet on the entire lower level with luxury vinyl plank. It was obvious from the minute we met with him that he was experienced, patient, and knew how to interpret what we wanted when we weren't even exactly sure! We are experienced home remodelers and it was great to work with someone who completely met our very high expectations and requirements. Aaron was extremely detail oriented and responsive, had great recommendations for products and colors that would look best with the overall vibe of the house, and kept us informed every step of the process with daily text updates/pictures. Project was completed on time. The floors are absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't be happier. To say he went above and beyond is an understatement and we plan to hire him again within the year when we remodel our kitchen and master bathroom. We can't recommend Sheaves Floors highly enough!
