I called ahead to see if there was a wait and was told there was not one. 30 seconds from the time I hung the phone up and walked in there front door There was a person in front of me and two people being worked on in chairs with extensive work being done! I Showed a Picture, My Hair was Long, Down to about my shoulders. In the picture, I had about 1/2 an inch thickness on my sideburns, 1.5 inches thick on top, and about 2.5 inches down my neck. I wanted a Trim with, like bringing it up 1/2 an inch. I wanted Trimming Shears. I got the buzzer straight up the back of my neck on a 3. Think a Boy's Regular just a little longer. I was with family and they were shocked. My younger brother started crying because he did not recognize me. To my friends and family, I am known as the one with long hair. I went in to get a haircut and was told I could not use the bathroom because they could not clean bathroom enough during covid. They suggested I slink over to the Subway where supposedly they are able to clean their bathrooms during covid. Better that I infect the people at Subway? Horrible customer service. I have used this salon off and on for the past 4 years. Usually with rotating staffing I show the stylish my engagement photo and who ever it's been, they wet down your hair with a clear plastic bottle of water and spray in the direction that they're going to cut. And as they work their way around your head, they'll keep spraying your hair. Well last Wednesday I was there is the very last time I'll go. I asked about putting in product and a blow dry. Kinda loudly, she announced Products run between $10 to $15 dollars and the blow dry was also $15. Real quick she ripped off the cape and said that it would be $16.95. I literally got scrapped, what hair was on me was soaking wet, and she managed to get my cowlick to stand right up. Since going there I did get upset if they wouldn't put on products and blow dry... I received the worst haircut of my life here. If I could put negative stars I would. I'm a college age girl, and the stylist that was assigned to me was a man in his late 40's. I've been trying to grow out my hair for 3 years and I told him I just needed the SLIGHTEST trim to get rid of the dead ends. He didn't wash it or anything, just yanked a comb through it and started cutting. He parted it down the center, and I SAID, "I don't part it like that, can I part it how I usually do?" And he refused and said it's better to do it like this. He barely spoke the whole time and it seemed like I was inconveniencing him. I wish I didn't tip him. I have weird choppy layers all the way around my head and there's really not a lot I can do to hide them. I almost started crying in the chair when he showed me his work. Super bad attitudes, free haircuts and flying objects. My husband stopped here for a hair-cut on Tuesday, July 3rd around 11:00 AM. He just asked for a simple shave on the sides and trim on the top, nothing complicated at all. I sat watching his hair-dresser chop, chop away with the most miserable look on her face I'd ever seen. She was clearly in a very bad mood. No excuses... if you're in the service industry you'd better show up to work with your A-game, otherwise, call in sick. When she was finished she asked him, with an attitude, how it was and he said "It's a little choppy on the top" She made a face and repeated "Choppy?" with attitude in her voice. Read on... this gets better. He didn't want to get frustrated and said "Just go ahead and shave it". She did so in a huff and in a hurry, leaving him shaved but with longer strands of hair in the front. She removed his cape, gave it a shake and walked away! So we are up at the counter to pay, the hair dresser standing there with us and the woman at the front desk (A short little tyrant of a lady with short blonde hair) says, "Do you want to leave a tip?" Uhm... awkward much? My husband asked if he could write it in, you know, like on the slip, everyone knows about this right? I mean it's 2018 right? Well she looks at him like he's an alien and says "Write it down????" so she slides him a piece of paper and a pencil. Under his breath my husband sort of mumbled "Geez people around here are miserable". The short lady at reception goes "Excuse me?!?!?!?" so my husband says "People here are miserable". She all of a sudden got pissed and THREW, yes, threw his debit card at him and said "GO THEN"! Unbelievable I know. Assault with a debit card! We were kind of shocked but then I said "Great, free hair cut, thank you and have a nice day." We walked out while she went on from behind the desk, clapping her hands and basically being an idiot. Totally rude, totally ignorant and totally uncalled for. This is how you treat a customer? I'd say these people need to either re-staff or take some customer service classes. NEVER go there and spread the word. By the way, the hair-dresser seemed about middle aged, medium built, maybe around 5'5" with blonde hair. Popped in the other day for a haircut - had no idea what to expect. They do charge for everything i.e., shampoo, conditioner, etc. I was a little nervous when I walked in and there was no other customers, but needed a cut so decided to give it a try. Total cost was $14.95. I have fairly short hair already, but it had been a couple months since my last cut. The stylist I had was very good. She asked me a few questions first and made sure we were on the same page as to what I wanted. She wet my hair and got to work. She did a great job and I got exactly what I wanted. I must admit I have never been in/out of a shop so quickly. By the time I left there were at least four other customers that appeared to be regulars. read more

I have to chuckle at some of these reviews. Being a regular at this particular Procuts, you see a lot. These poor stylists endure a lot of abuse from clientele. Every time I've been there it's been a pleasant experience. There was one stylist whom seemed to be an issue, but I have not seen her there lately (good for you procuts). From what I have seen on Facebook, and local advertising, the Marshfield location has merged into Plymouth, that means more stylists on, and less of a wait for us as customers. I am not saying the salon is perfect, but a lot of these reviews are harsh, and you cannot base a review of an entire salon because of a bad experience with one particularly horrid stylist. read more

I just had my haircut and asked for small layers.... they cut my layers waaaayyyy too short. I also asked for just an inch of the end and they cut it about 3 inches more than what I wanted. My hair looks like crap! Definitely getting my money back. Would NOT recommend this place. read more

The workers are very rude. I came in for a trim not their opinion on my hair. I do not enjoy being asked if I even know what heat protectant spray is. Someone could ask for ONE inch off their hair and the workers will COMPLETELY disregard the request and continue to cut off THREE inches off their hair. Not impressed. They treat there employees with the utmost disrespect and do not care if you are experienced what so ever. They will hire you right out of the gate. Where do I begin? I have had my haircut here 6-8 times, no issues. Today I had my haircut by the young girl with the pink awful hair. I should have know as soon as I saw her, to ask for someone else. Dressed like a slob, her hair might have been the worst hair I have ever seen. It looked like she took garden shears and halloween spray paint to it. But, I thought you can't judge a book by its cover, boy was I wrong. If your hair is pink, with an awful haircut, chances are you don't care how good of a job you do on someone else. At first I thought this is not so bad, after I got home and showered and looked in the mirror I said, holly crap! My hair was so bad I had to shave it. I have had bad haircuts before, but nothing that couldn't be fixed. My hair was uneven, the sides had patches of long hair. This I can say is the worst haircut I have ever had, I will never go here again. To the girl with the awful pink hair, stop trying to be hip or what ever you want to call it, because it is not working for you, and its just making you look like a joke. I received a great haircut when I went to procuts yesterday evening and I Love it! However, the service was pretty bad. I really liked how my stylist cut, shampooed and styled my hair. However, the blonde young woman who was working the front desk was the rudest person I have ever met with a customer service job!!! Smacking her gum and texting while customers were trying to check in / pay. An elderly man came in while I was getting my hair cut and she ignored him for a good 2 minutes to finish a text and proceeded to not even welcome him but in a rude tone ask "What's your name" and didn't even tell him how many people were ahead of him. Overall, the haircut was good. The service was not great, even for a salon this style, where customers are in and out so quickly. They charge extra for shampoo and conditioner, and I probably would have saved the $5 by washing my own hair at home had I known this. The hairdresser did not give much of a consultation, which is usually expected at a salon so that it can be communicated what the customer wants. We talked a little about how I wanted my hair done while shampooing instead, and while she was combing. The haircut was good and she did give me what I wanted. The woman at the desk who I paid seemed a little rude when the first thing she asked me was, "Do you have any coupons?". I did not, and she didn't offer me one or anything. It was kind of awkward. I payed a total of $18.95 including the shampoo, so this was a pretty cheap haircut. I think the service could have improved but overall, I would go back again. read more

I have gone there in the past and I was in and out with a good cut, but on my most current visit I was extremely disappointed. All I asked for was a short buzz cut for the summer and they didn't even get it right. It was uneven and slanted. I looked idiotic walking down the street so I went to a barber shop that I like near the white cliffs. They fixed it up right away for half price! Now all I'll do is go there for my haircuts. Plus their most expensive haircut costs less than pro-cuts' regular with shampoo and a hair wash. read more

I am a 72 year old man and went to this shop for a trim. I had been growing my hair from a crew cut for six months and told the lady I just wanted my hair trimmed over my ears and off my neck in the back. Before I knew it, I noticed inch long pieces of hair on the floor, she had buzzed up the side of my head. Too late! When I voiced my dismay she did a few more strokes and said she was done. Today I popped in to get a quick eyebrow wax, and it was the worst mistake I've made in a long time. The "stylist" that performed the service waxed off half (yes, half) of my left eyebrow. She botched the rest of the job, which I barely noticed because I was so concerned that I was currently in possession of 1.5 eyebrows. I let her know I would not be paying, and I left after she apologized. I called back shortly after to ask to speak to a manager to talk about my experience. I was told there would be no manager in the store until Monday, so I asked for the name of the woman who waxed my brows. The girl on the phone refused to give me the name of the woman or her name. I told her I would gladly come back in if she wasn't comfortable giving me the name over the phone and she accused me of "threatening her". It was confusing and upsetting. After she unceremoniously hung up on me, I called back once and they wouldn't pick up the phone. I understand people make mistakes, and luckily eyebrows grow back, but I felt it was important that the manager know the kind of work that was going out of the building. And that perhaps the woman might need further training. Also the way I was treated when I asked for the name of the stylist was unprofessional and downright silly.I will be going back in to talk about my experience and will certainly tell my friends not to go there for waxing services. read more
