The Guitar Guild is a community asset -- I feel good going there not only because the education is excellent but also because the owner regularly contributes to the local community in so many ways. Guitars to Palmyra High School. Free online concerts to kids when they couldn't go to school. I feel really fortunate to be a part of this school. My daughters also take lessons there. But speaking for myself, I have to say my experience with the Guild and its instructors has significantly improved my life before and after the quarantine. Highly recommend.

The first time, they sat on the order for weeks, ignored my emails, and only shipped after an absurd delay. I chalked it up to a fluke. Foolish mistake on my part. This time, it's the same nightmare all over again--zero communication, no shipment, and a website that still falsely claims "orders usually ship in 24 hours." A look at Yelp confirms it: this is their normal business model. They take your money, vanish, then maybe ship something weeks or months later--if you're lucky. I genuinely don't understand how they're still in business. Do they think they're Howard Dumble and can just say, "You'll get it when I feel like it"? Are they overwhelmed and dishonest? Levon has encouraged me to keep learning, and I'm quite glad he does so. For some people, they hop on YouTube to learn how to play a SONG; Levon teaches you to play the INSTRUMENT. Lessons are a combination of book work, theory, and a song of choice to help keep interest. I started about six months ago and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. My 11 year old has expressed interest too, and his first lesson is this Saturday! Can't wait to see how much enjoyment he gets out of it.

I'm a professional guitar player who was visiting Philadelphia from the west coast and decided to check out local music stores. The store was clean but beyond appearances this place was terrible. All the guitars I tried were dirty and out of tune; I told an employee that the truss rod needed to be adjusted on one and he didn't know what that was (a music store employee should know what that means). I couldn't hear myself try the guitar because the sole employee was signing and playing at the top of his lungs. I then asked him about how the teacher employment worked at their store and not only could he not answer, but he couldn't give me anyone's email or phone number to contact with questions. Very rude in general. Ive been in hundreds of music stores and this was among the worst
