I really liked the work. I got a full set and pedi. They took their time to do a great job and were nice. It was a nice surprise.

It's my birthday so I decided to get my nails done. I walked into the salon and there were no other customers there. I told them I wanted a simple manicure. They talked me into getting a manicure and pedicure. I picked out my favorite color (Lincoln Park After Dark). They started and all was going ok until I noticed that they painted my toes black- not the color I had given them. They also cut my nails WAY shorter than I asked. By that time I was so upset at the length of my nails and my toes being black not the color I asked. When I asked her why she used black on my toes she said that the color I gave her was running out so she just used black. She didn't ask me. She just did it that way. If they didn't have enough of that color I would have picked a different one. So I left without getting my nails painted. So disappointed. I'll never go back here again. read more

Last week I went in for a fill , I don't know their name, but there's only two people. I believe it's The wife, and the husband I walked in and asked it for they had time for a fill, said yes and sat me down. As soon as she started filing down my Nails. I noticed that she had cut my nails to short. I asked if she would Please fix them because she had done one side of my hand. Too short, she got upset start speaking her language with the man. Then he asked Me to sit on his table. I showed him booked my hands and told him if he could just please even them out. He then proceeded to say that he didn't know how because she is the best, and if I don't like it, then I should leave. I wasn't even upset. I was. More hurt at the fact that it was my first time there. I had a wedding to go afterwards. Ended up having to walk to Sally's to buy myself a file, and now Polish. read more

I wouldn't event rate this a 1 the experience was horrible the staff was absolutely rude I had stood there for about 15 mins while the guy yelled what I needed done I don't think there was a need to be aggressive, once I had gotten seated he then started to comment about my appearance. After we had gotten through most of the process I had asked for a nice ombré color he put it on but then completely took it off then said I'm ready to go, I ended up giving him a tip to be nice but he was extremely rude and didn't take the time and effort to do a basic ombré color that is coffin shaped nails. A good, solid, salon to get a pedicure in Santa Paula. (NOTE: They are located in the Santa Paula shopping center next to the movie theater. Also, please note the business name is "Professio Nails & Spa". I have notified Yelp several times.) A very basic experience, nothing remarkable either way, which is good! I called the salon first to get information and was able to schedule the pedi appointment for the following Saturday. They sent me a text message with some basic information and confirming the day/time of my appointment. I was kind of greeted when I got there and waited only a moment to be directed to the massage chair to begin my pedicure. I couldn't figure out how to work the massage chair at first, but oh well. I would have liked there to be more interaction/conversation between the technician and I, and I would have liked to have known the steps/items she was using for the pedi. (I know which "level" pedi I purchased, but even a little bit of communication would have been preferable.) Just my two cents. I will probably give them another try and then maybe shop around for any others to see if the pedi/massage might be better. Overall, I do recommend this basic salon. read more

Yes. the place has new owners. He has done a great job with my nails. I always let him pick a design for my nails. I wish I could have taken a picture of the Mickey Mouse he did weeks ago. But this time he made a spider. I always get compliments on my nails. They last me up to 4 weeks and the design never fades. I love my nails and I'm always excited about my next design by my nail tech. Next time ask for a nice design and he will do it. Very talented man. read more

First time coming here with the new owners. My personal experience was horrible. The lady who did my pedi and manicure, did a horrible job on my nails and toes. She gave me a flyer that states the different services they offer for pedi . I went ahead and got the 35.00 pedi. Next, she was doing the callus removal, she put the dead skin inside the water where I had my feet inside. Then she tried to rise my feet with the dirty water. She got upset after I told her not to do that . This place is very dirty, it's not clean at all . The lady who did my nails was lazy, and dirty herself . Honestly, pay attention to how dirty it's is, because if they are dirty with the salon now you can just imagine how they might not disinfect the tools. I took my 87 year old mom to this place for a manicure and pedicure as a special gift to her. During the pedicure my mom kept saying *ouch * as the female pedicurist was doing her toenails. I intervened a few times, first asking if she could be more gentle, then ultimately being shocked at how rough she was on my little Mama's toes. Yikes. Honestly I was ready to take my mom out of her chair, pay, and never come back. Fortunately the torture ended as she started painting my mom's toenails, then the man did my mom's manicure. This is my go to salon when I need a pedi, mani or full set. I have not been in months until Sunday. I scheduled my appointment for a pedi and the unfamiliar voice was polite when speaking to me. Walking in I did not recognize the man & women working. Maybe they are new owners? Not sure. Although polite in person as well, the man, who did my pedi was very aggressive when filing my foot. It hurt so bad I had to pull away. I looked at my foot and I was bleeding. He apologized, but none the less the side of my foot was in pain! I was surprised to see a new group of people working here when I came in. I was also surprised to see how messy and unorganized the place was. Not sure if Tony and his wife are still the owners but they had been my nail techs for about 5 years before that and they never let the place get messy. Tony always grabbed a new sterile set of tools for every pedi/mani and these people did not do that, they used the tools from the girl before me, on me and insisted they were clean when I asked. I asked for a white dip manicure and I got almost yellow. Such a bummer this place went so downhill. They also say you have an appointment but you'll still wait 30 minutes before they seat you down. read more

The new owners took over. I have given them 4 chances to do my powder dip nails. Each time they didn't even last a week. Also I don't think they know numbers because when you choose a color they match it by sight. I really liked the previous owners, Tony did a great job and my nails always lasted minimum 2 weeks. If you have a little one that likes a pedi, this is not the place for your child. My child was very excited to sit in the bugs bunny looking chair for the pedicure, until her toes almost got caught up the fan, because the cover to the fan came off in the water. We were very fortunate we didn't end up in the emergency today. Avoid this nail place by the movie theaters, because it's unprofessional and they are extremely rude. Just had the worst customer service I have ever experienced at this nail salon. I scheduled an appointment for gel, when I came in the tech was mad that I scheduled a gel service when I just needed 3 nails done. I had come in last week and the gel lifted Saturday, so she told me I need to say REPAIR for my appointment. I did not know that, obviously..and she just looked at me. So I asked her, so...you can't do it? She didn't say anything and took my hand and started the "repair" from there she continued to show her frustration. She asked me what color, I couldn't remember..which upset her more. I pointed at a color I thought looked the same on the shelf, she ignored me and took out the color book but kept it on her side of the glass. I pointed at a color that looked similar, when she began to paint she said IT'S NOT THE SAME. It looked the same to me, but she took out the book and gave it to me this time. I couldn't locate a different color so suggested she try the one I pointed at on the shelf. She opened the bottle and said to me NOT EVEN CLOSE. By this time, I just wanted to leave. So I told her I was ok to just use the one I picked from the book. I don't usually get my nails done, so don't know the appropriate terms to use when getting them done but my goodness to be treated so poorly in an establishment made me not want to do it again. read more

This has got to be the worst possible place we have gone to have our nails done at. 2 stories My mother in law had a full set done by Jimmy. her thumb was badly hurt it was cut and it was bothering her to the point where she had to take the nail off herself. She also had a bad job done the other nails were crooked at the cuticle line and they were all dirty underneath. She had to clean and file them underneath. And the set that I got done were lifting from the cuticle line after 2 days I also had to take about an hour to remove all of the excess acrylic that was left on my finger tips. The Guy named Mike was extremely messy with the way he did his job. All of my nails were uneven some thicker than others. The last thing that did it for us was after we went back to complain about the work they did was that they were playing games bouncing the owner position around between two of them. They are very unprofessional and I will definitely not be going back. And besides that I think it's extremely unsanitary that they go back and forth touching people's feet and going back to other customers hands without being clean and sanitizing their hands. read more

Under management like 2 years ago they were fine. In the past 6 months so very rude. I went in one week day and they seemed kinda busy. They said hello, I said, "Hi, can I get a pedicure?" Their response was, "We already have people." I guess that was their way of saying "not today" ??? So I left. Today I went in and they asked, "what do you need?" I said wax. And they didn't say anything back. The guy came from the back, asked the same thing, again I said wax, and again no response. So I stood there for a few mins and 3 girls came in asking for 2 manis and 1 pedi and the guy said, "20 mins".....so I asked, "is it 20 mins for a wax, too?" It's a nice place they do an okay job. The wait time on weekends is bad so I try to come on weekdays. The place is reasonably clean. I don't think I get the same type of pedicure treatment each time I've had better ones somewhere else. I usually get the gel nails and I feel like they don't clean their uv lights as often as they should. I appreciate them not talking amongst each other like in other salons they are very professional and quiet. They get the job done. read more

My nail background- I'm inconsistent, usually wait way too long between visits. I've walked out of places that were unkempt. I highly value the massage chairs. I've visited various places in 4 states in the last 20 years. My experience- I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of this establishment. The tools were prepacked autoclaved not just soaking in a jar. The chairs... oh the chairs! There was even a mini chair for the kiddos! Agree,The staff was not chatty although friendly but I'm ok with that. Only downfall, There was only 3 people working so there was a wait for everyone that walked in. Hopefully if its under new management that will improve. I can't comment on the nail painting as I did not get polish but I had a great mani pedi that was about an hour.
