This place was silent when I went in on a Friday evening(i typically go else where but since my appt with my brow lady wasn't until next week I figured I can sneak a quick eyebrow wax), should have taken that as a hint that this place isn't good. Th man up front called the lady out. Took her 3 minutes to come. The. She tell me to go to the waxing room. I waited there for 5 minutes. ALONE NO ONE ELSE (customers) IN THE STORE. I'm thinking why is she taking so long. She finally comes I tell her I don't want my eyebrows thinned just remove the smaller hairs that have grown; well she did them thinner, and burned both sides of my eye lids. It hurt so bad since she was digging in the not hot enough wax on my eye lid with the wooden stick. She kept calling it "skin break out" .... no that's NOT skin break out. That's a burn and my skin removed!!!! The stinging pain was painful. This obviously WAS NOT her first time doing it to someone else since she had an open tube of neosporen which she applied on my eyelids. Oh FYI---front door says $8 for eye brow wax. She charged me $10. I should have walked out without paying for the pain and ugliness she caused. I don't think it's even practice/sanitary to use neosporen on multiple customers. BEWARE. Worst job ever! 32$ for a regular pedicure?!!! Terrible job. Paint on my skin and took 1 hour and 15 minutes!!!!

Well she was impatient and cut my cuticle back too far so I am bleeding and it hurts. You get what you pay for. Let's hope I don't get infected with this cut. Will not be returning even if it was free. They don't sanitize the equipment in between clients. read more

I went here while I was on travel for work. I got there late and I needed several things done manicure, pedicure and waxing. The staff worked together and stayed late just for me. I am so happy for this place. I will go back any time. They did a great job with everything. The staff was friendly as well. read more

You get what you pay for. Good prices if you're in a pinch, but not a large color selection & the man at the front was extremely rude when I came in. I don't expect "Salon/Spa" service when I go to these little places, but he pretty much sat me down & ignored me I had an appt so I asked if anyone else was available. He said, "let me see if she wants to do this" luckily when the lady came out she was very professional and did a decent job. I will not be returning though. read more

My husband and I went in to get pedis and I was told to pick a color then we stood there. After a minute or so of not being acknowledged, I asked if we should come back, no response. Then a guy said "uh"? I said if your busy we can come back! They really didn't answer me and we turned and walked out. Kind of rude. If u want customers to come in you should be more friendly when we do. We walked right across the street to Le's Nails and Spa and was greeted very kindly went we stepped in the door! I love Queen's Nails because they are all so friendly. I don't feel ignored by a language barrier or a disinterest to get to know me as the client, which can feel awkward. Everyone at Queen's chats with me and asks me questions if they see I feel talkative that day, or if I close my eyes to relax they let me enjoy the silence. I really feel like they care about me as a client and do not treat me like I'm just another number, or another dollar bill to be earned. I like coming here on my day off, usually a random Tuesday. There's never a wait and I just bring my own Essie colors or choose from their gels. The lady takes her time with mani-pedis which is bomb if you just want to relax for 1-1h30. read more

Worst experience I have ever had! I walked out with a base coat only! I have always had the habit of biting my nails. Recently I have let them grow out and have been getting Gel manicures to keep them strong and looking nice. I thought I would try this place as it was the closest to my work and I was on lunch. Normal Gel removal starts with a coarse file and then cotton balls soaked in acetone, placed on the nail and your finger is wrapped in foil. Nope, they didn't get the memo on this trick. They started by drilling the polish almost all the way off, Followed by a bowl of polish remover that I was told to put my hands in (I work in and office and have paper cuts, talk about painful!) From there she decided to use metal cuticle clippers to SCRAPE and PEEL the gel off my nails taking with it some of my actual nail. This went on for about 40-45 minutes. While one hand soaked, the other was being scraped at. Switch hands. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat So now it's time to paint. Base coat goes on. She is taking her sweet time finding the Gel color I picked out. I explain that I am on lunch and will be late. She opens the polish and it's clumpy. She tells me to pick another color. They don't have much to choose from in the way of Gel polish and I am really irritated at this point. I pick a different color and again, the polish is clumpy. She said that I can come back later and she will find a different color for me. I pay her half of what she was charging and left. No polish. Just a crappy gel base coat on my poor damaged nails. read more

horrible place ever !!! i usually go to rainbow nails but did not have time so decided to give it a try ! worst decision of my life !!!! i went for a fill and a pedi my pedi was horrible the lady hurt me soo mutch ohh yea and it took her about 20 mnts to remove my gel wtf!!! then for my fill omg !!!!! it took the old man literary 45 mnts to remove the gel lmfao not even lying !!!! my bill came out to 65 dollars insane price for poor pooooor service !!!!! thats not how mutch i pay for a brand new set and pedi together!!!!!! ooh btw they charge 15 dollars extra to remove gel no wonder they are always empty lets see how long there buisness last read more

I had to write a review after my first visit to Queen's nails this afternoon... I've been going to a different nail salon every time for the past few months to find a favorite, and can't say that I've been necessarily disappointed, just not crazy about any place one way or another...I actually accidently ran across Queen's looking for another store, and decided to run in. I was helped almost immediately, on a Tuesday afternoon. The reason that I found it necessary to post a review is the fact that: 1) I don't have a single cut or sore spot on any of my cuticles, 2) I don't have to re-file or touch-up anything, and 3) I didn't feel rushed, or forced to talk if I just wanted to stay quiet. The prices were actually lower than most places that I've gone, and the personal attention and attendance was nice. I wanted something special for the 4th of July, and my manicurist spent quite a bit of time making sure that I really liked the pattern that she came up with. I think I'm pretty easy as far as being happy with someone's work, but she went the extra mile to make sure that my pattern and design was perfect. I appreciated her attention to detail, and was very relaxed and pleased with my experience. I may just have found my new favorite salon - thank you Queen's! read more

Maybe I caught them on a bad day considering the rest of the reviews are good, but here is my review: I went in for a fill because it's so close to my work. (I normally go to Professionail in Ventura or Hueneme and I will NEVER stray again) I walked in and it took WAY too long for someone to acknowledge me. Finally, Jimmy started my fill and he was off and on his phone the entire time. A fill that should've taken no longer than 40 minutes took well over an hour and it was THE WORST job anyone has ever done on my nails. Just terrible. Very uneven, way too thick and not smooth at all. And to add to it, salon was absolutely FILTHY!! The file Jimmy used on my nails looked like he'd been using the same file for YEARS. If I didn't have to go straight back to work, I would've walked out with half done nails and went to Hueneme to Professional. All around, I was disgusted and very dissatisfied with my experience here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I've learned my lesson about straying from the normal. read more
