After initially contacting them, they were onsite with in 24 hours to make an assessment. They followed up with an email estimate at a fair price by the end of the day. They scheduled the work to be completed within a week. Unfortunately, bad weather prevailed but they kept me up to date as to when the work would be completed. I was pleased with the end results which was a massive cleanup, cutback, clearing and removal. It was accomplished with a 6-man team. They worked in a no-nonsense professional manner. I was expecting it to take two days, but Two Brothers said that they could complete the work in less than 1 day and they did! They had all of the necessary tools, equipment and vehicles to complete the job in a professional manner. They also hand-dug a 6-foot long by 4-foot wide by 6-foot deep hole in the front lawn to locate the waste/sewer pipe leading to the street in order for the town's Sewer department to repair the faulty pipe. Once the pipe repair was completed by the town's Sewer Department, Tommy and his team returned to our home and carefully back-filled the hole with the dirt they removed. Each project was top-notch. Tommy and his team of qualified, trained professional landscapers arrived on time, were very efficient, thorough, careful, and friendly. Since everything was exactly planned out and explained during the initial estimate, there were no surprises or hidden fees along the way. The wall started to lean slightly within 5 years as it was not built with drainage in mind. This time around, I wanted the retaining wall build the right way. I called Charles and Son Construction & Landscaping to get an estimate because I prefer someone local and was pleased with their online reviews. Carlos arrived as scheduled to write up the estimate. He immediately suggested re-using the blocks since they seemed to be in decent condition and would save money. I met with another company the day prior and was originally planning on getting a 3rd estimate. After getting Carlos' very reasonable estimate and asking a few question regarding timeline, I approved the estimate and was ready to move forward. Just 3 days later, the work started and was finished just 4 days later with a Sunday and a rainy Monday that was a wash out. I was so pleased since this has been on my todo list for the last several years and relieved to have it done correctly. My neighbor was also pleased to get part of his yard back. I finally decided to give his business a try by doing basic lawn maintenance once. The guys showed up, cut only a part of the lawn and then were about to leave before finishing the job properly. The guy cutting the lawn said he was concerned about the new grass even though the grass had been growing for almost 6 weeks by then. Then he recommended I fertilize the lawn to deal with weeds which didnt make sense. Weed killer or over seeding would have been a better solution. After I canceled the service he sends me a bill for higher than his original estimate for weekly service.
