Its thick with 5mm of cushioning that makes it feel very comfortable to walk on, even with bare feet. The precision work of Marina's installer was amazing. Somehow he cut the end of this huge role, to accommodate a 5 leg 10 foot bench that is built into the wall with cabinetry. It has 5 narrow legs from front to back that are 1"x by 16" wide built on top of old flooring, I was sure I would need six pieces of molding. They were professional, polite, and respectful of our home. They worked efficiently, kept everything clean, and made sure to answer any additional questions I had along the way. They went above and beyond. The final result looks amazing. We are so pleased, and the entire process--from start to finish--was smooth and stress-free. Your Floor Store was highly recommended by a good friend for my large flooring project including…read morethe kitchen, living room-dining room combination, stairway landing and hallways (upper and lower). The job required removal of old laminate, old LVP and installation of the new LVP. The new flooring was placed over the hallway and kitchen existing tile requiring leveling from room to room. Early in the project there were issues with the leveling and I offered to pay extra for the additional leveling cement. Despite the additional leveling, I am left with significant uneven flooring. The floor is so uneven in the dining room that I had to placed extra felt pads on the chair at the head of the table to offset the unevenness as recommended by the store owner. The problem is when you move the chair with additional pads to a different spot, that technique does not work. In the corner of the room, there is still at least a 1/2 inch gap between the chair and the floor even with the extra pad. I believe that this job should have been done by a more experienced professional. An experienced floor installation professional would have known what to do in this situation and most likely would have recommended a step between the hallway and dining room or would have done a more gradual leveling with the cement. I would also recommend that the owner pay more than one visit to the jobsite to make sure the project is going well and the installation is done professionally. Smithtown, NY

Dan the owner already had some replacements set aside when I came back in and his choices were great and very close to my original. So I was able to pick a new floor with ease. The installers were wonderful! They definitely earned their money. This is the third time I have used them. One was to carpet a stair and the other two times were for flooring. This group of guys laid absolutely beautiful 'top quality' hardwood floors. They did an amazing job - we chose a two tone very good quality hickory floors. 7 years later they look brand new. I was in their shopping center today, and remembered I been meaning to do a review. So 6/7 years later... I just now took a few pics. I flipped area rug to show floor well. Honestly this high traffic area has alway been exposed. I only recently am trying out large area rug (pets love it and high traffic area). Thing is - floors are holding up BETTER THAN ME. GROUP of guys started and in like 2 days, 20 year old carpet up and out, and gorgeous floors installed. 2/3 days - I was like in shock. They were so accommodating with helping me coordinate with my dogs and all details that come with this huge job, such as furniture and dogs... Love floors - they absolutely exceeded my expectations. We were n the market for new flooring. Starting with replacing our living room carpet…read more We shopped around to a few local flooring stores but weren't pleased with the selections, prices and most important, the sales people. When we walked into this store we met Joe who was very accommodating. He showed us some options but we noticed a remnant that was large enough to fit our living room. My wife fell in love with it and the deal was done. Mark came to measure and set the installation. Next we asked about hardwood flooring for upstairs. Time for a complete redo of the house. Mark took measurements and we began searching for more flooring. Again they were very easy to work with. No pressure at all, and several options to lower the cost. Well this morning was the install for the carpet. Two very nice and respectful young men show up and worked like a well oiled machine. Two hours later the furniture was moved, old carpet was out, and the new carpet was installed, and they replaced all the furniture. Next the looked at the pending job of the upstairs flooring. Again some good suggestions and what we thought would be a nightmare of a job, they assured us it would be another smooth install.
