He walked around the property and broke down the different drainage solutions while answering our questions. He made it easy for us to understand each option. We were able to get a full system added to the property in 3.5 days. Julio and his team were great! They were promptly on time each morning. Cleaned up after themselves. From the estimate process all the way through to the last touches, I am happy to say I now have a drainage company that I know and can trust! Their estimator, Foster, was alongside me throughout the job process with any questions or concerns that I had. Before the job even began, he ran through several scenarios with me and was very patient. He understood my objectives both as they related to aesthetics and my pocketbook. In the end, we came up with a plan that was viable and as aesthetically pleasing as could be managed given the situation. Once the job began, the primary person of contact shifted to Julio, one of their project managers. He was on property every day supervising and working alongside his crew. The crew was very polite, hard-working and friendly. They were very well supported by Julio. This may seem like a given, but often it is not so it did stand out to me. Once all of the work was done, Julio gave me a final walk-through, showing me how the various components function and made certain that I did not have any lingering questions. I think there were two follow up visits after the work was completed in order to accomplish this. There was no point along the way where I felt like they were taking shortcuts, using materials that were inferior quality, or anything of that nature. Their concrete cuts were incredible, and I have seen some really bad cuts in my past. And they did a beautiful job with brick work, including redesigning some curved areas of brick that needed to be removed during the job. Veronica in the office was very helpful as well. Unfortunately they weren't able to go under the sidewalk since it was too thick,but put in a bubbler in a spot that sent water over the sidewalk into a storm drain. What a relief getting rid of sandbags across my garage just before the Christmas rainstorm! A few years ago, we had a leak in our laundry room in our hillside home. Their team came up with a clever solution to reroute the water from the top of the house. It wasn't cheap, but it was far more affordable than any of the more complex alternatives--and for three years, through every rainy season, we had no issues. This year, we noticed some minor leaking in the same area. I reached out to the company around 6 PM on a rainy day, and they immediately texted me back, troubleshooting in real time. That same evening, they sent someone out, who quickly diagnosed the issue: the system was completely clogged and just needed cleaning. Thankful that's all it was! We have a hillside house and had some serious drainage issues. We are so glad we hired Professional Drainage Solutions. Brett was great and was very patient and happy to answer all of our questions. He presented multiple solutions with detailed quotes and was not pushy in the slightest. We opted for fairly major work: french drain, waterproofing membrane, new surface drains, concrete v-swale with large basin, connections to our gutter downspouts, tons of piping, etc. Adam was our foreman and he was great. He was interested to hear more about our issues and suggested another surface drain that ended up being crucially important. The entire team dug the trenches very fast and they were super careful not to cut our internet line, sprinklers, or anything else that was in the way. The workmanship was A+ and we are very happy with the final result. The only thing that could have been improved was that the project took longer than expected to complete. What really sets this experience over the top is that a couple months after completion of the project, we discovered that we misdiagnosed where one source of the downhill water was coming from. There was a drain from a neighbor that was broken underground in the easement on my property. Adam came out for 3 days to diagnose this issue and implement an elegant solution. Very difficult to get a hold of these guys. Last year I contacted them for drain system installation, took them a few months to do "inspection" and give me a quote. They dont offer professiinal drawing that many high level HOAs need. And their price was also way higher than other quotes that I received. I ended up doing drain installation and paving of the entire side yard and back yard with the same price that this company quoted me for. I would not recommend and definjtely would look into landscape companies to do the same type of work and beyond at that price... read more

Part of the job - sealing a leak in a below ground garage was fixed. The leaking seems to have stopped. They explained well what they would do and how their technique would help in my situation. However, they were not successful in the other part of my garage. They came out a couple times trying to fix it, but it did not work. They blamed it on run off water from another source that has also been addressed. The leak they were supposed to fix is still leaking and now they stopped returning my calls and emails. read more

We've had experience with contractors who make promises they can't keep and throw in excessive change orders. We did not experience that with this company. They were professional, thorough and detail oriented during what turned into a 2 week project with included massive excavation that extended the entire length of our lot. Once the project commenced, Julio and Tommy were a responsive team. They were easy to communicate with, helped us navigate challenges, problem solve and make decisions as issues arose (as they will, it's construction). Our central AC had to be disconnected to accommodate the work, and when it became apparent the job was going to take longer than expected, the project manager Daniel had his crew come out on Saturday so we wouldn't have to suffer an extra day without AC. Then Julio and his crew got to work, carefully digging trenches around our home, all by hand! Toward the end of the job, I asked for a quote on something that I believed was initially going to be included in the service. When I received the quote from BRETT, I asked him TO CALL ME TO DISCUSS IT and listed the items I was being charged for twice. HIS RESPONSE: DO NOT SPAM ME. I called the office to try to get ahold of someone else, but good luck trying to get someone who actually works for them. You will always, only, get their answering service. It is challenging to find a company dedicated to solving drainage and water issues but Professional Drainage Experts tackled our project with efficiency and skill. I had previously reached out to them while assessing a patio build a year ago but never got the project off the ground. With the patio now in place, we needed a way to move the water that would be coming off the gutters away from the backyard so it would not damage the concrete slab as well as moving water away from the sides of the house that were just pooling during heavy rains. Our project required trenching and concrete work but the team was able to complete everything in just about a week. Everyone who worked on our project was easy to communicate with and made the process easy. They took care of our existing irrigation so nothing was damaged beyond simple patches. They showed up on time and seemed reasonable. Unfortunately their solution was about 40k more than the next quote of about 3k total (45k vs 3k). I'll say this though, their plan was a massive project including new concrete, wells, drainage pumps, etc. Realistically it was significant overkill for what is needed and I'm sure it would have worked great. We had another company come out and they're just going to relocate the gutter downspout to divert the water, compared to Professional Drainage Experts who planned on re-grading the entire property (demolition of the entire backyard, trees, etc) which sounds great but unnecessary by a mile. read more

Of 5 companies who came out to solve my water flooding on the side of our duplex, Brett & PDE gave me a solution that made sense & was expensive, yet reasonable. Next, their crew headed by Kendrick was respectful & considerate - working quietly in the early mornings so as to not disturb me or my neighbors. They were also skillful at their craft. Just watching them work each day, I realized how much engineering talent they put into making a drainage system that works! Kendrick was great - patient to answer my questions, always happy to show me the progress, did a walk-through on the last day & did a demonstration to show the water going down the furthest drain through the long pipes & into the driveway. They ended on time, left the place cleaner than before. Now I'm looking forward to see how things hold up. Sent a request for a quote through Yelp. I then receive a cryptic message on Yelp stating they can't help at this time. I then call the business and was told, "That was weird" the lady then stated she would tell someone to call me. I then get another message about 2 minutes later on Yelp, basically stating that they do not do 3-story homes. Seriously? For years we had significant outdoor flooding at our residence every time it rained. We finally decided to pursue a permanent solution. After research, we hired Professional Drainage Experts. Our experience with them was top notch, from the first telephone contact to the last day of our project. We are very happy with our new drainage system, and highly recommend this company. All of our boxes were checked - 1. Communication - The owner of the company, Shanese, was accessible via phone and email, to field my many questions. She was clear in her communications, making it easy for me to know what to expect. 2. Professionalism - The crew that did the work was friendly, courteous, cleaned up well, was always on time, and didn't destroy any of our property. Special commendation to Julio, the supervisor. Aesthetics - the installation of our drainage channels involved some hardscape demolition and reconstruction. The end product looks clean.
