Avoid this business. I have a long story but bought cabinets and countertops from them and their installation. Problems happen. I am reasonable and I understand there are supply chain issues. Never once was that stall tactic used however. Too many to list here. If you have a problem you have no recourse. They simply do not care. If you think I have a personal agenda all you have to do is call their number. 1.) They won't answer 2.) Their voicemail says not to leave a message. For real! I wish I had looked at these reviews before I signed a contract!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I should say NO customer service. The flooring was installed with a stair-step pattern despite specifically discussing it with the installer that the planks should not line up. As soon as my husband came home, he saw it and called the store. Leo would not return his call. My husband went down to the store and spoke with him and they came to an agreement that for $150, he would have the guy come back and fix it. When Zoe called me to schedule, she said my husband misunderstood and that Leo was charging us $1.50/sq ft, which came to over $900. Mind you, my husband is a carpenter and at my request he agreed to have them install because 1. They gave us a "good deal" and 2. To clear my husband's schedule to do our own floors was going to take too long. She said she would speak to Leo and have him call my husband. TWO WEEKS passed and no word from them. Finally I get a call from Zoe that they need to collect the second half of our payment since Miguel just reported that he left my house. HE NEVER SHOWED UP! Not only did they not fix the pattern, they never returned to finish the step into our sunken living room (he said he would be back two days after the install, 2 weeks prior). I told her we would not be giving them any more money until this was resolved. Only then did Leo finally call us back. However, he was rude, loud and intimidating, telling us that it "didn't matter" what we wanted, that he "does things [his] way" and that we "better not keep [his] money from him!" I asked him if he was threatening me to which he replied "you better give me my money!" We were supposed to finish our entire house in this flooring. I searched all of central florida for the same pattern/color/texture with no luck. Miguel had actually took the extra flooring that we paid for back with him to the store. We just had to throw our hands in the air and pay the second half just to purchase the remaining flooring because we have an open floor plan and there was no way to match it. The install was done so poorly we were left with damage to our walls, support system of the countertop, framing under the countertop and the countertops themselves are 1) Not level 2) the seam is AWFUL and the epoxy they used turned yellow 3) the 2 pieces of granite they used where the seam is do not match and the cut next to the oven is so sloppy it's not straight. I called immediately to speak to owner SEVERAL times always getting the "he'll call you when he's in the office" I spoke with so many people in the office including the owners wife who told me he'd call me as well. At one point I was told someone would be at my house to see the damage and literally no one showed!! We waited and called for hours. No show no call no I text the number they used when scheduling install date (which by the way I had to wait over a month for) and someone text me back "Sorry I don't know what happened" to this day no one has called me or reached out. After stalking them for weeks I gave up. It was right before the holidays and it was causing me so much stress I couldn't deal with it. Don't be seduced by their low prices!!! The only reason this company got a 2 is because of their price and selection. We decided on getting granite countertops. First time they tried to install it it wasn't right and slabs had to go back. Second attempt installation was satisfactory but l noticed that the counter overhang was much shorter on one end than the other. No biggie but something that shouldn't have occurred. The other issue was during the first install attempt the installer used too rough a grinder to buff the joint leaving a dull finish to the countertop. This was later corrected by the contractor. The initial install was done in May 2022. We called in May 2023 with top still under warranty and scheduled an appt to look at hairline cracks appearing on the top - they were a no show. We had to go back up north and when we came down called and scheduled another appt to look at the top. Again a no show. We are still trying to have someone from Profession Flooring look at our top and our frustration level with them is reaching its limit. read more

If you want to hire a company to come in and wreck your kitchen. If you like to throw money in the trash, Professional Flooring of Altamonte Springs, Florida is your contractor. When you arrive in their showroom they will show you great examples of nice work. They will do great drawings. They will show you a well thought plan. Then when they come to your home to install the promised kitchen and bathrooms, they will not even come close to what was promised. In fact they will deliver cabinets that were not in your order. Then they will shoehorn them in and tell you that it's the best. That they are the professionals. Their delivery is a monkey 5 job. A monkey or a 5 year old could do better. They should not be called Professional Flooring, Amateur Kitchens would be a better fit. Do not waste your hard earned dollars at this place. Drive by and go somewhere else. Cabinets are not level. They left live wires flapping in the wind. They secured cabinets to drywall without anchors or screwing in to studs. Granite was caulked white and clear. Their install was absolute junk. I used them for my granite after having them recommended by multiple people that I know. I always look online to see reviews before using a company, and the reviews online had me really considering not using them. I am glad I decided to proceed as they turned out perfectly, and I could not be happier. There are a few people saying that if you don't speak Spanish, don't use them, and I would also disagree with that, too. I do not speak any Spanish, and while it did present a few minor inconveniences during the process, it by no means caused a bad installation. Every person that visited my house was extremely friendly and professional. They were more than happy to help, or adjust anything that I asked for. They also have, by far, the best pricing I could find around. I am a purchasing manager in the construction field, so trust me when I say I "shopped" this out. At the end, the owner made sure to speak with me prior to his installers leaving to ensure I was happy with the finished product. If I could give this place a negative star I would. I would not recommend this business to anyone. The estimator came out to my house to do the estimate for my downstairs floor. When the installers came out they barely understood English. They did not move the furniture and it was not explained to me when the estimator came out that they would not move the furniture. I had to call out from work so that I can get the furniture moved. The job was not that great. They left glue on the end caps. They tried to charge me for an additional endcap that was not given at the time of the estimate. The installers broke my slide door. Now my end caps are lifting because it was not installed correctly. I paid $4000 for this mess of a job. I would highly recommend getting another company to save yourself the headache and money. After shopping around, we decided to purchase new kitchen cabinets and countertops from Professional Flooring. From the start, the employees were great. Ana was very patient with us while we were trying to select granite for countertops, even when we went back to change our choice. Yami was absolutely amazing! She made suggestions that other companies overlooked to make our kitchen practical and beautiful. The cabinet instillation went without a hitch. Tomas was very meticulous and made sure that I was happy with everything. He took extra care to make sure the cabinets were level even though our foundation was not. Do not trust this company. They do not show up on the scheduled day of service or on time. They are very shady and will give you continued broken promises. they will mess up your home. They installed the incorrect size new kitchen cabinets, floors, and baseboards. They removed my tile floor, ad the floors were never leveled and flat before placing the new floor. Floors feel like small hills/ sink holes. The kitchen cabinets once they were installed as I was placing my things I noticed they were not the right measurements and now I have most of my things crammed together and unable to even enter my pots and pans into the cabinets. My new baseboards were installed and the nails are sticking out of the baseboards. they ruined the carpet in the rooms by placing crazy glue on the carpet to hide the gap between the vinyl flooring and carpet. the kitchen cabinets and work on the floors is not what was discussed and everything floors, kitchen cabinets need to be removed and start the whole job all over again. read more

I wished I had read the reviews before doing business with Professional Flooring. They did counter tops in my kitchen and two bathrooms, that came out nice. They wanted a deposit on the backsplash, which I gave them. when they came out to install the backsplash, they realized they had made a mistake in the square footage of backsplash they needed. (mind you they came out twice to measure everything) they wanted an additional $300.00 to do the deal. I said no. They walked out the door (with the black splash I had paid a large deposit on) and never refunded me my deposit. They are not a company I will ever deal with. I called them and sent certified letters to the Manager and Owner, have not heard anything from them. They took my deposit and have not sent me any response to letters or phone calls. I suggest read reviews before doing business with any and all companies, I whished I had read the previous review before doing business with Professional Flooring, but never again will they get another cent from me, or any friends or family members. I had a very bad experience with Professional flooring. They will not provide the product that they promise and you will receive sub-par product, install and customer service when you make any dispute. Please, be wise and shop around so you do business with a company that not only is proud of the product they provide, but also will also provide exceptional customer service. These are two things I am sad to say we were not provided with. We signed our contract with Professional Flooring in August, and to date, our project with them per our contract is not complete. They installed granite that had to be repaired multiple times due to chips and holes throughout. I had to call this to their attention on several occasions. We also purchased a farmhouse style sink from them that they forgot to bring out with installation. When they did bring it, I had to install myself (my fault actually, I didn't have the proper support at the time for the sink) and when we removed the blue protective film from the sink, we noticed it was defective. Weeks of calls yielded no solution until we physical brought the sink to them. At that point they switched it out for a dented sink that they now refuse to replace. I have paid them in full for a product and service they have yet to provide. Please beware, do your research! 01/17/13: My original review in December was responded to my the company (they tried to post a review of their own company with 5 starts, talk about unethical!). In their review, they state the sink was delayed initially due to it being special order. This is correct. But they had it by the time of my install and simply forgot it. To start, when they came out to template, the installer doing the template was clueless as to what kind of sink I was to use - even though I had purchased it through his company! This was one of the many mistakes they made. They also state in their review that I signed off on the project. I did not sign off on the project - I told Tatiana, the owner's wife, that I would not be home for the (re)installation of the sink and that my grandmother would be there. My 70 year old grandmother was coerced into signing off on the project but noted on the sign off that she was not the homeowner. My grandmother is neither Pro Flooring's customer nor is she the person under contract with them, much less the person who paid Pro Flooring to complete the job (which to this date, was not completed as I had to keep the dented sink.) I can add however, that I heard of this company through my grandmother. One of they first installs they did was at my grandmother's. The seam on her granite top by the sink was so horrendous, I remember calling on my grandmother's behalf to have it corrected. When I decided, against my better judgement, to contract them for my own home, the owner Leo insisted he would go out to correct the seam at my grandmother's. To this day, they have not done so. Just another empty promise from Pro-Flooring to get you to sign a contract and get your money. It's interesting that in their reply they make no comments about the chips and holes and faulty install of my granite that I had to call to their attention multiple times. They also do not mention that just like the dents they refuse to believe are on my sink, they also did not believe that the first sink was defective. I had to call them multiple times for that, send them pictures repeatedly, and finally arrive at their business with the sink in hand, in the middle of a busy work day with other customers before they would admit that it was in fact defective. That day they were so proactive in helping and it's no wonder, they had a store full of customers they wanted to impress. Again, my view has not changed on this company. There were so many issues and in the end, I still had to keep my defective sink. I am not the only one who has had issues with them, if you do your research, you will see multiple review s from other customers who were actually worse off than me. Do not use this company!!! I wish I read the reviews before using them. At first they over charged me just like another review stated. They said the measurements were bigger than they were. I let it go because I am easy going and it was just a bathroom. Then they showed up late to install. I was heading out the door to pick up 2 small kids from school and could not stay. I told them we will need to reschedule. Then the owner called me about 15 min later and comes unglued. He starts SCREAMING at me for not staying. He continued to scream at me that he will be charging me for this trip. After being screamed at for about 15 min I told him I no longer want to do business with him and I want my money back. It has been a nightmare working with Professional flooring and granite. I picked out the granite for my kitchen that I wanted and completed the order form and they gave me an installation date. Then after thinking everything was resolved and a go, they called two weeks before it was supposed to be installed to tell me that that granite i had chosen had an issue and was on back order and that I'd have to choose another color. I picked another granite and asked them specifically if this granite was a good granite to put in kitchens and they confirmed it was. They came and installed it and within weeks it had water rings everywhere, and showed issues that would indicate it had not been properly sealed. I called them and asked them to address the issue. They finally sent out a crew to reseal it. The crew that came out told me that they would reseal but that it wouldn't do any good at all because this was the type of granite that was for looking at and not using. They said it's only ever installed in kitchens that people aren't planning on using. This upset me as I had specifically asked them if this was a good granite for kitchen use. The resealing didn't help at all. My granite looks really bad and for the last 9 months I have stopped by the shop for times, I have called at least 10 times, I have texted every number they gave me. They have ignored my texts on multiple occasions and when I have gone in to talk to them they say they will work on getting someone out here and call me back and then they never do. Finally, two weeks ago, I went in and told them that if they didn't address this issue that I would be forced to get a lawyer involved. They finally had the owner come out, his name is Leo, to look at it. Leo told me that since I had signed it was ok when they installed it, that it was my fault that my granite wasn't ok now. I told him I never put anything hot on the granite, that I reseal it every 6 months and that I have been really careful with it. He tried to blow me off again - winking at me - I asked him if he would be ok if his granite was like this in his house - he finally agreed to come back and reseal it again. He said this time it would work. He said that if it didn't work he would replace part of it. I told him all of it was damaged because it had not been sealed properly. He was supposed to come this week... and he never did. I have texted again and he has not answered. I would go anywhere else to get your granite. Their customer service is horrible and they do not stand behind their products or services. I get the run around again and again. They told me it would take 2 weeks to complete the job and it took over 6 weeks and I'm still hiring someone else to fix my shower. When we started the project they said they'd be out checking on the job and watching their guys throughout the 2 weeks. We only heard from them when they wanted money. Do not use this company. I bought granite from them and when it came out the finish was wrong on the edge. Leo, the owner owned up to it but refused to cut me a break on the stone. He told me after it was all installed after several hours that he would take it back and refinish. He also yelled at his installers. If they had refinished the edge it would have cut a 1/2 inch off the granite delaying my remodel by several weeks. I am still waiting for crown molding that has yet to come in and doors. read more

They installed the granite crooked. It was off by 3 inches. The area where 2 pieces were joined started coming apart in less than 2 weeks. The same area was chipped, but they never said anything. Absolutely HORRIBLE! I do not recommend using this company at all. Worst customer service. I am a realtor and have a client that just needed a small bathroom counter-top with sink done. I went into Professional Flooring in Altamonte Springs and was approached by one of their sales people, Andrea. I showed Andrea pictures of the bathroom and asked to see what they had in white quartz counter-tops. She took me out back and could not have been more disinterested in helping me. She asked for measurements of the counter and said she would give me a price once I called in the measurements. I left there and thought, "why didn't I just have them send someone out to do the template and get accurate measurements?" I called them back after I was already on the road and asked Ana, who answered the phone, if I could speak with Andrea and explained that I wanted someone to come out and measure and do the template to get the job started as quickly as possible. She said Andrea was with a customer and would call me back. By 4:30pm that day on 03/08/18, I called back, because I hadn't heard back and figured they would be closing at 5pm. Ana answered once again and informed that they close at 6pm. She said that Andrea was aware that I had called previously and she would definitely call me back before she left that day. No call. The next day, I call and Ana answers once again and I said, Andrea never called me back yesterday. She explained that Andrea was out on an appointment yesterday and never came back, but she would have her call me. I started to explain the urgency, because my client was due to have quartz counter-tops installed by Verona Surfaces on 03/07/18, but messed up more than once and on the day they were supposed to do the install asked me to come down there and pick out another slab, so we cancelled the order, because they were horrible. However, at that point the new cabinets had already been installed and my client was without a counter-top, backsplash, sink and plumbing, but before I could finish telling Ana why the urgency, she cut me off and asked if she could call me right back. That was at 9:30am this morning and it is now 4:41pm and no call from anyone at Professional Flooring....guess they don't need the business or maybe because it is a small job, they aren't interested in my business. However, I am a realtor and always have clients needing renovations, but I certainly won't recommend Professional Flooring in Altamonte Springs. I also left the owner a vm today, but no call back. Unbelievable how people can run a business like this! When I called the owner, Leo Perez, he did not even have a professional voice message...it was just static on the other end and then a beep. I had a feeling I wasn't going to get a call back from anyone at Professional Flooring today and I don't have time to waste, so I started looking elsewhere and heard about European Marble & Granite at 3019 N. John Young Pkwy., so I went there and spoke to George at 11:00am this morning...he was GREAT!!! He had people coming and going and was busy, but he made time and had someone at my clients house by 12:00pm to take measurements and do the template. Installation will be next week. These people did not tell me what cabinets I would get they chose the cabinets they wanted. I thought I was getting the same as the display. They do not communicate correctly and then will not take fault in what they do or correct the situation. I have been hung up three times by the owner saying it is my problem and I should have looked at the contract. I never got a contract with clear indications or cabinets. The granite is beautiful and the staff is helpful. They came out to install it and the guys said the cabinets were out of square (the office insisted that I pay in full even though the job was not complete) so they left after taking out the window sill and not installing the new one. My cabinet guy came out and after about five minutes determined that they must have kicked out a block of wood under the cabinet so they put another one in and left. Professional flooring came back the next day and the counter tops went right in. My only complaint is that they charged me an extra $150.00 to come back out even though it wasn't our fault and they insisted on being paid in full before the job was complete.. read more

This company should be called unprofessional flooring. They use unlicensed contractors who don't show up half the time and then they blame you for getting upset. They pieced my granite together in a very unprofessional manner, and good luck ever getting them to come back to fix anything. They messed up an aspect of my cabinets and my flooring and my brother-in-law had to fix it. I paid a down payment to them per their contract and they tried to shake me down for additonal money before the cabinets were installed. Professional flooring is by far the absolute WORST company that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Before you go and say oh she must be exaggerating, let me tell you a little story. I just bought a house, the rooms were carpet so we decided to contact our seller to purchase the same floor that was set throughout the rest of the home. This is how we found professional flooring. We were told by the investor to go there and let them know we were the home of xyz that they did and would like to purchase more of the same floor for property xyz. That is what we did, the ladies greater me great, I explained where I was from, they confirmed etc. I thought everything went well until I realized they had sold me the wrong floor (this was after I bought, picked up and the drive the floor home to find out that it didn't) when I went back to return it and bitch them out they said that they didn't have the invoice of the floor they used to my home because they destroy their paper records afyer 2 months and that they were going by the picture I showed me and that they were trying to help. This was strike 1. Let me begin by saying that I was never informed of the fact that they were only going by the picture, I was told they were going by records, I did not know about their "we throw away our records after 2 months policy" this is how they tried to blame me for their mistake. May 28, 2016 I brought a sample of the flooring when I returned the wrong floor because my handy man had already pulled up all the carpet. I then come to find out that the floor was out of stock until June 25, 2016. We agreed to this because we were still living in our old rental and we had until June 30 to move out. (BTW I had a newborn while dealing with all this) A week later I called to get an update on the arrival of the floor, to my surprise I was told that the shipment was delayed until July 1. On July 1 the shipment had arrived to the port but would not be at the warehouse until july 5 due to the 4th of July weekend, on July 5th the shipment had then been detained for "inspection" but would be released by the 6 or 7. On the 7th we found out that I wouldn't receive our floors then either. We received our floor July 13, 2016. Had I been able to buy it elsewhere in would have gotten a refund. Strike 2. From June 25 to July 13, I was in constant contact with this company. Turns out their customer service skills are as of they are talking to friends and not customers. They argued with my husband and I at every turn, they tried to pin the blame on their customer at each turn, they said in multiple occasions that they would call back and never did. The manager had given me her number for updates and when she would respond via text she was rude. As if she was doing me a favor...as if I was not a paying customer. Strike 3 was when one of the men from the warehouse decoded to use my contact information for personal use. He contacted me to express how beautiful I was and how my husband was a lucky man ... don't get me wrong, this is obviously flattering but to get my info from am invoice, without my consent ..... by far the most unprofessional thing possible. Oh did I mention he also used my information to find my private fb?. Yea, he did that too. Lastly I told the manager who at first "didn't understand" what had occurred and began asking questions about how HER EMPLOYEE would get my nunber.... Needless to say I think they more than received this bad review. You would do better to pass up these guys. Do not pay until job is finished. Leo is a loose cannon. The cabinet install crew was very good , so were the counter top installers. To bad the office is can not get it together. We agreed to 3 payments. One when we ordered, one when the cabinet were installed and last when job was done. At the end of the install day the cabinets still needed two doors and 2 lazy Susan's and the valance over the window. Leo demanded payment. Of course we said as soon as they were complete. Leo not only was screaming cuss words but was going to call the police, beat us up, put a lean on our house, come take the money, ect....... He called about four times. The install came back two days later finished up , and we paid them. The counter top guys came , had to leave and go get more material due to miss measure. I have used Professional Flooring on 3 different occasions all for both cabinets and granite. The first time was for a job in Miami. Their estimate came in well under 50% of all estimates in the Miami area. Leo went to do the measurement himself. The crew installed both the cabinets and granite in one day to minimize the travel. The kitchen came out beautiful without any problems. For the other two jobs, the experience has been the same. There is no other place that I have found in this area that sells the granite of the quality they offer cheaper. They have been very professional with me in all of their dealings. Absolutely horrible! I am telling everyone I know to NEVER do business with these people! After the installers were 4 hours late without ever calling to tell us they were running behind, they showed up without the right tools to drill the holes for the faucet and sprayer. They then told us to go buy a different sprayer. So I'm supposed to buy a different sprayer that doesn't match my $400 faucet because you don't have the right tools to do your job?? So we called to speak with the owner Leo who ended up telling us to "Fuck off" and "never come to his fucking store again". Mind you, we paid in full up front which we never should have done if we had known we were dealing with such shady unprofessional people. They charged us an extra $250 for us not to have a seam right down the middle of our island slab, which we were never told in the beginning would be an issue. How do you charge to NOT do something? Then they charge a $150 fee if you want to pick out where they cut the slab. So literally just to say "I want it cut here" they charge $150. Isn't that what I'm already paying you thousands of $$ for?! So we ended up talking to the owners wife (who was much more reasonable and needs to teach her idiot husband how to deal with paying customers) after we told her we would buy the drill bit they needed in order to cut the whole for the sprayer. So after WE paid for their drill bit, the hole was cut. We just wanted to be done with these people. This morning my contractor came over and showed me that they cut the holes crooked, so now my faucet has to be set crooked and they also left huge gaps under the cabinets and wall supports that the slab is supposed to be supported by without putting any shims or anything! Problem resolution disappointing. I will start by saying the experience along the way was excellent. The ladies in the show room, the people consulting with me, the people coming to my house, all very nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, this outstanding service and treatment CEASED the second I gave them the final check. I have a few minor problems that I have reported thoroughly, repeatedly and have been almost completely ignored. I have sent multiple emails, texts with photos and even visited in person over the past six weeks and have yet to have problem resolution or any communication indicating progress. One issue was a cabinet was too large, another issue was the workers used 8 tubes of my personal caulk I had purchased for painting work, several areas of grout had voids and needed to be refilled and the cuts around my curved fireplace were not of the quality you'd expect from a professional (huge gaps, not cut to match the curve of the brick. I have always said no company or service is perfect, in the end, it is how they respond to concerns from the consumer, and this company has failed miserably. read more

i was not a customer, my son was. i was there for the installation because he works nights and had to sleep. granite itself was ok. however, they did a terrible job securing the dishwasher. they did not properly seat the screws to hold dishwasher in place and it kept hitting the door when opening and closing it. (son had to correct). they did not space dishwasher correctly and the door kept hitting side of wood cabinet, scratching off wooden pieces from the wood panel. that evening my son found a chip in his tile flloor that was not there before the installers came. i was waiting to see how job came out before i went in to place an order for granite for my kitchen. now, i will go elsewhere, especially after reading the reviews and seeing the actual work done. read more
