Avoid This Agency - Five Years of Loyalty for a $0 Payout…read more I have been a loyal policyholder with Shelley Parson for the last 5 years, watching my premiums steadily climb year after year. I recently had to file my very first roof claim, only to find out they dated my roof at 44 years old in their system. When I originally took out this policy, I explicitly told Shelley that the roof was 10 to 12 years old, exactly as my professional home inspector had verified. Because of their massive dating error, depreciation and an insanely high deductible kicked in, leaving me with absolutely zero money to help with the replacement. To make matters worse, the customer service has been insulting: The Audacity: Shelley actually told me that once I pay out of pocket to replace the roof myself, I should "be sure to let them know" so they can cover it moving forward. The absolute gall. The Brush-off: She claimed she would "look through her records" to see if I ever followed up with proof of the roof's age 5 years ago. We all know how that goes. Because of this pending claim mess, I feel stuck with her for the moment while she continues to pocket my rising premiums. Do yourself a favor and find an agent who actually keeps accurate records and protects your investment when it counts.

They don't want to fix anything or give you money to fix anything. 0/10 would not recommend to my worst enemy. Theyve cause my granny lots of stress so now I'm trying to help her gather the money to help cover getting a roof replaced which Is going to be almost impossible. Expensive rates and annoying calls / emails…read more I've been with Allstate for over 10 years, but after comparing rates with competitions, I switched to another insurer (I pay HALF the price for exactly the same plan for my house and 70% for my cars). I had one claim with Allstate ($4,000 for both parties) and I had no problem with being reimbursed for the expense, so I like the quality of service. Another issue with Dan is constant emails /phone calls / letters that are sent even after I requested to be removed from the list. I just got an automated phone call from Dan, thanking me for being a valued customer; I switched over a year ago!
