Pretty happy with the services we've received throughout the years. We hired PKE for my sons 2nd, 3rd, and 4th birthdays. Somehow my son and friends have always been entertained with the services although by his 3rd birthday he knew exactly what to expect he didn't seem to mind. For being repeat a customer, they have always thrown in a character ( we always go for the gold package). The staff are always friendly, entertaining and make my son feel extra special. My one and only complaint is that last time we hired PKE the male clown (cant remember his name) repeatedly looked at his watch as if he was in a rush. It was so noticeable one of my sons teachers pointed it out to me and asked if she should gather the kids to take them back to class. That was disappointing and embarrassing as I consider myself a long time costumer, great tipper and have always recommended them. Guess you cant have a great year every year. With that we will probably be looking for another service, as he has requested yet another birthday party :/ read more

Employees from Clown.com reached out to me about providing services for my daughter's upcoming 5th birthday. I informed them that I already had planned having a virtual birthday party. I was informed that they can deliver services virtually as well. I agreed to book them only if I was able to receive a recording of the zoom party (Clowns.com created the zoom meeting and passcode). I booked them for my daughter's 5th birthday party on December 18, 2020. I was told I would receive the video on Monday, December 21, 2020 or Tuesday, December, 22, 2020. I waited until Wednesday, December 23, 2020 to give them a call because I had not received the video yet. I was told that I would receive the video next week. Next week came and I did not receive the video. This kept happening every week. On January 6, 2021. I called and asked about the video. I was told to call back in 2 hours. When I called back, I was put on hold for 10 min. I hung up and called back. I was on hold for 10 minutes again. I hung up and called from a different phone and they answered. I was put on hold for 5 minutes. I called back from my phone and I was told to stop calling and was hung up on. I called back and explained that I wanted to know when I'd receive the video and was asked who told me that. I told them to check the notes. I was told it was not guaranteed. I explained that I only booked with them because I was receiving a video recording. I was called "stupid" and hung up on yet again. I called back and was sent to voicemail. I left a message for them to tell me whether or not there's a video. If there isn't a video, to just let me know. My sister called them and explained that she wanted the video of her niece as well. The delivery guys were very professional & ensured that the bounce house was in the best location in my yard. It was clean & definitely transformed my son's party to a different level. Bad experience: they arrived 40mn late. The party started at 3pm and they showed up at 3:45pm! No apologies ( it wasn't their fault: they were just stuck in the traffic). Then they had a hard time to gather the 10 boys waiting for them in the living room. The kids had face painting, cotton candy, crowning ceremony and balloon animals etc.. They ran their show kind of mechanically and made no effort to make sure everyone was involved and that everyone participated. They didn't seemed to know how to take control of the party. The show ended at 4:20pm, strongly asked for their recommended tip ($50) and were out of my house at 4:30pm. They stayed 45mn in my place (set up and clean up included) We totally felt rushed and The face paint was the only good thing, but I recommend to spend your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

My daughter was looking to have a Descendants party, so I searched a bunch of entertainment companies looking for Mal and Evie to come to her party. They do one boy and one girl, so I got Mal and Prince Ben. They showed up at the allotted time on the dot. Mal was a spitting image of the movie character. Ben was driving and they brought a trainee who even dressed up as Carlos. We got the coronation, the face painting, the balloon animals, the magic show, a tug of war, hot potato and they even helped with the piñata. Wonderful people made my daughter's day. We had a party this past weekend for our son (7) and daughter (5). The staff on the phone were very helpful in setting everything up. On the day of the event, the bouncing castle was set-up well ahead of time and perfectly inflated for a full afternoon of fun. The performers arrived on time, about 15 minutes before the contractual start time. The performers were actively and friendly with all the kids and kept positive, active environment for 2 hours. Their parties are best suited for younger kids, say 6 and below. Older kids will lose interest quickly, even when the performers give their best efforts to reel them in. For those kids that engage, they will have a wonderful time. Customers should note. The performers consider their clock started from the moment they talk to a kid, any kid. When we booked the time, we had to settle on a 1 to 3 pm entertainment session. This could have been problematic because it coincided with the start of a 1 to 4 pm party, but we accepted that most would enjoy the entertainment until 3 pm. The performers arrived 15 minutes earlier than the 1 pm and started, during their set-up, to give our daughter and friend (the only kids present at that time) a face painting. This was a problem at the end of the day. The performers stopped promptly at 2:45 pm, citing that "they began early". At this point, they wanted their suggested tip confirmed and their parking paid; they were packed in the car and departing at 3 pm, precisely. I can't say how much this company saved the day! I originally planned a birthday party for my nephew at another company and they were unable to provide me with a Spiderman character last minute which made me scrambling for a replacement. They were able to accommodate and provided me with the Spiderman that my nephew wanted. The kids had a great time playing with him. The kids also had a great time playing with the bubble machine and eating cotton candy. Overall they saved the day and the kids loved every minute of it. We hired them for our dons first birthday party last weekend 5/18/13. They were awesome. 2 entertainers (Elia & Dave) came. I bought the Silver package which is an hour of entertainment.They arrived a little early, which meant they finished a little earlier, but that was ok because it was understandable that with the snow they probably had to make sure they got to the next few parties. I was a little worried about the snow that they might cancel, but they did not, which made me extremely happy! (However, due to snow I had a much smaller group of kids for them to entertain), they were nice enough to make extra cotton candy for kids who might show up later, which was a real treat! Anyway, the two clowns we got for the day were Cris Cross and Bubbles. they did a GREAT job. All the children were 4 and under, and they really tailored the entertainment perfectly to accommodate such young children! All the kids had a real blast! They were SO GOOD with the children, and the children absolutely loved them. All the parents who watched were really impressed as well. I have used Professional Kids Entertainment twice and both times they were great. I first used them at my daughter's baptism, about a year and a half ago. They arrived on-time and the kids loved them. I do have to admit that the female clown was a little loud but it could have been the acoustics in the room. A few people did comment about it though. We just used them again this weekend for my son's baptism and they were great. They kept the kids entertained and several people asked me for their contact info. They even included in Elmo for free. Booked them for my nephew's 7th birthday with just 10 days'notice based on the positive reviews here and I have to say they did not disappoint and definitely exceeded my expectations. From the minute I spoke to Allison to the second the entertainers left my house, they were nothing but professional, happy and fun; an overall pleasure to do business with. A few days before the party they called to confirm and Allison went over everything so I knew exactly what to expect. They even called a couple hours before the party to make sure everything was a go. They arrived 15 minutes early to set up. The balance was paid before they began, but it was done so discreetly and away from the other guests as to not make anything awkward. They do suggest a recommended tip, but honestly they worked their butts off and deserved that tip, if not more. The hour (silver package) was jam packed full of kid fun, from bubbles to cotton candy, games, face painting, animal balloons and finally a magic trick with a live bunny, which the kids got to pet. The highlight of the day was when Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made an appearance. The look on my nephew's face was priceless. I had a billing issue where the company got paid 35% more than what was billed. I reached out to the company and they asked me to follow up with the actors, which they should have taken the responsibility for. We used this company today for a school event When the drivers showed up, they pulled out the bouncers without asking anyone at the event, where we wanted the bouncers to be set up. Then the two guys setting up got an attitude when I approached them to tell them we did not want the bouncers in the area they were setting them up in. But that is not the worst. We also rented a cotton candy machine and popcorn machine and they dumbed both machines in an area, then went to sit in their truck without setting the machines up or giving us instructions on how to use them. When I approached them again regarding setting up the machines I got more attitude from the drivers again. One of the drivers proceeded to argue with me, acting like he was going to fight me, when I called the company ghetto. I do not recommend this company and will never use them again. I dealt with a guy named george and I had hired a magician and two princesses firstly your worst nightmares will come true with this company, I thought I was getting a professional magician instead i got a kid whos clearly not over the age of 19 the princesses looked nothing like the characters they are suppose to be emulating. I ended up getting a magician from staten island who was amazing I payed a bit more but you get what you pay for, he came highly recommended from my buddy. So I had 3 experiences with the company. The first was my kids party and I loved it. The clowns were great, kept kids involved, very enthusiastic! Parents loved it so much a friend of mine ordered it for her 3 yr old party...the clowns she had were so dull, and scatterbrained. None of the kids were interested and it was sad so I thought okay she was unlucky cause my experience was great. Until tonight when I was at my cousins kid birthday party.... Oh my gd that was pitiful! Non engaging, horrible clowns. The cotton candy was white, no colors. They didn't have consistent music, kept turning off, it was awkward. The male clown only knew how to make a dog or a sword for balloon animal time and my daughter cried bc she wanted as flower like she got last time. The magic show was def forgettable and they lazied out on the false drawer bunny trick by just introducing the bunny. Overall, super lame and really ridiculous.. I learned that I happen to be really lucky with my clowns who I noticed are in their promo video on the website, it's a man with dark hair and a goatee... They showed up after 3:30. Because of this everything was rushed. My son never got to even see the show. Hello...this was booked for him. Also I was told I would have a bubble machine. Never happened. They used a 99 cent store wand. Do not waste your money! Use to a different company. After they were done they had the nerve to come ask me for a tip. I had it and gave them nothing. At my son's 1st birthday party, Olaf came and everyone loved him. At one of our events, we rented their party room. The price was reasonable, the room was clean and spacious. I hired them for my son't birthday party. They showed up EXTREMELY LATE. I only had the space booked another 45 minutes. At about 20 minutes into the show I told the lady clown that they would need to cut the performance shot because we had to clean up. Then I reached out to the company to voice my complaint as well as get half of my monies back - if they showed up so late where i could get 30 minutes of service then i should only have to pay for 30 minutes. NOT AN HOUR. The manager was rude - told me that he spoke to the female clown and that she said we were there for an hour and it took them 10 minutes to get to me from the entrance of the park. Completely FALSE! I was right near the entrance - 5 minutes if you walked as slow as a turtle. Needless to say, he told me he would call me back regarding this after he spoke to the male clown. NEVER CALLED ME. So guess what? Amex I am calling! This is so sick and disgusting. The service they provided while they were there was great - But it was 30 minutes. I paid for an hour. Maybe if their employees came on time I would have had an hour. I had to give the children my sons balls he got for gifts as entertainment - which of course half of them eventually popped. Book bounce house for block party. Contract was for larger house. They sent smaller house and said that they have only one printable contract so everything goes on this form and it doesnt matter what it says its just a basic contract. They tell you they are giving you wats on the contract and then switch it. They also call to deliver the house the day before to put in my back yard. I told them it was a block party and to deliver it the next day. House was to come too early, had told them 123:00 they them came 2:00 very unrealiable. would never use again or recommend Horriable business people read more
