She seems to recognize the memory issue, AS a symptom, not non-compliance. I highly highly recommend her. I've heard good things about the other folks there too.

She is helping him deal with major family upheaval. He has had more stress and disappointment than anybody deserves in a lifetime, much less at the onset of adolescence. Depression, confusion dealing with his feelings, and anger have been the results. He feels that Shannon really listens, she 'gets it', and she knows the right questions and conversation starters to get to the heart of the problem. She also has managed to quickly give us, his parents, the bottom line, and pointers on what we can do (or stop doing) to help him, without betraying his trust or privacy at all.
