The seal is not installed correctly, and the glass is chipped at the corner.

Absolutely the worst customer service and claim experience. Currently, I have a glass claim. Safelite Auto Glass completed the work by installing a damaged aftermarket rear window and seal. I'm going through hell just to get them to make good on the terrible service that I received from Safelite regarding the botched installation. It has been 1 month and I'm still waiting to have them install oem glass due to their mistake. They won't even credit me the cost of a car cover to protect the vehicle from the rain that's forecasted for this weekend. I will definitely be changing insurance companies as I have been with Progressive for 6+ years.

    Mess

I got into an accident determined that I was not at fault. I had three adjusters assigned to the claim. The first one gave me the wrong information regarding a network shop available in my area. The next one provided me with incorrect information. The MRR was great! The last claim representative had an attitude. During the process, my insurance agent mentioned something called diminished value. I submitted for a claim for this. Progressive does not want to pay out on a valid claim due to a prior claim from the previous owner with State Farm. I called State Farm insurance and the shop that did the repairs. The claim did not pay out anything, and the shop is a sister shop to the one that completed my repairs for my accident. The first shop only replaced a bumper. Nothing major that would reduce the value of my vehicle. However, from the fender bender I was just in, the damage was over $5,800! I contacted the dealership where I purchased the vehicle, and they sent me a trade-in valuation for the difference in the value of my car prior to the accident and post-accident. They determined the diminished value to be at $4,725. Giving them the benefit of the doubt for the former bumper repair, taking the current values from the estimate for my repairs, a bumper and a reflector come to $255. I submitted a claim for $4,470 for diminished value. I sent this response to the claim representative: A minor bumper dent that a claim had no payout on did not diminish the value on (my vehicle). State Farm agrees with me, as well as the Service King shop in Spring, along with my insurance agent. Progressive's policy or rules or whatever that govern prior claims needs to consider the entire claim. The fact that it was not even reported on the Carfax should tell you something. A minor dent in a bumper It's definitely different than all the damage that was caused by the Tacoma that backed into the back of my car. $5800 + worth. You can get a copy of the service invoice from the shop in Spring, TX as the insurance company. You agreed to insure my car. This accident was not my fault and I have provided sufficient evidence to show that there is definitely a diminished value from the accident on 3/28/2023 per a reputable Toyota dealership. The two accidents are not similar. Not even close. You have the figures for the cost of a bumper replacement on the claim. Attached is the correspondence I sent to the main claims office and the valuation from the dealership. I would like someone from your main claims office to contact me please. Additionally, the first claim rep at Progressive should have provided me with the network shop you have available in Kingwood at the time of this claim. C****** H*** did not; instead, she advised that I have the right to choose any shop in the area. After checking out their corporate website, I chose the local Service King now Crash Champions shop. Their service adviser lies to customers, along with the rest of their staff. I reported to Dustin (the MRR) when I checked my fluids the other day that it appears someone removed the oil cap and ran the engine because oil splatter was everywhere, my engine oil level was extremely low, and I just had my oil changed at Valvoline. That shop is under a cover, and I stay in my vehicle while the oil is being changed and the rest of my fluids topped off. My coolant was also low. My vehicle does not leak anything. Two quarts of oil my, a funnel and a gallon of coolant ran me over $50." I work on my vehicle, so I know its condition. I keep up on the maintenance. I am also a Progressive insured shopping currently for a new policy. I found it very odd the hood was open when I went to pick up my vehicle since all the body work to be done was on the back.

This is after the car was recovered as stolen and released into the care of the progressive agency

They will overcharge you and if you cancel with them expect them to keep taking money, nothing but headaches with this company

David Lee was my new adjuster and he took great care of me, made me feel like I mattered and answered all my questions, best yet he got me a payout a lot more than I thought I was going to get....

If one of her assistants doesn't have the answer, she always does and is happy to follow up. I even just got a call that Santa is there today for photos, if we wanted to bring in any little ones. We love having coverage through State Farm and the care we have received from this office has been great. I've never felt so valued by an insurance company - it's pretty neat.

The series of blunders and errors that followed clearly demonstrated it was 'time to CHANGE carriers'..and, first not just cuz of premium... but first and foremost because of the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! UNBELIEVABLE ....phone calls not returned....mis information given...... The day I picked up my new car, I pulled off the street to use my cell to call Christine to add the car....weeks later, I'd not heard any news about the endorsement, and when talking to SF on their 800 number to report current miles....was advised they knew NOTHING of my new vehicle....several weeks AFTER I advised Christine!!! When the final change document adding the new car arrived...the coverage was late dated...and because of her oversight, I was driving for about 3 weeks WITHOUT COVERAGE. And never once an apology or sorry... 'my mistake'....just a lot of bravado to hide her unprofessional behavior. There's a good deal more to all this than I'm sharing here....as I'm still considering filling a complaint in Sacramento with the State Insurance Commissioner ...... BOO BOO BOOOOOOOOOOO for State Farm......... 5/22 Update...UNBELIEVABLE... this weekend I received another invoice for my already CANCELED truck insurance (canceled MONTHS AGO)...called the 800 number......they could/would tell me NOTHING and said I'd have to discuss with agent (Christine above...god help me)...finally just now she called.....was rude and when told of the invoice I held in my hand...denied any invoice was sent!!! THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME..... IT'S TIME FOR ME TO CONTACT THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE
