Michelle is a wonder and deserves more than 5 stars! She's been our family's State Farm Rep for years- but mine only since I've moved back locally a year ago. My family has sung her praise for years and after only a year here I can speak from personal experience. I have my car being repaired as we speak and was supposed to go through the claims department for any issues. Things had become so unbelievably uncoordinated and off track- they could give me no answers and I was practically in tears after hanging up with claims. Michelle was super helpful!! I was looking into refinancing my car and and was having a hard time, even though I have good credit and good proof of income no other financial institutions I looked into or willing to finance a car that was 10 years old. My friend suggested that I look into State Farm, since they insured my car, and I learned they do financing as well. I got approved in minutes and it was very easy and hassle-free. Omar was excellent! He walked me through all of the steps, was a wiz on the computer and made everything seem simple and easy. we were able to buy my title in no time. I actually spoke with Omar about a year ago, but didn't pull the trigger, after doing some shopping around ( as well as procrastinating) I came in today and was really impressed with how friendly welcoming and nice the whole staff there was. Hey I get it, no one likes paying Auto Insurance including myself, but since you have to have it this is the best place to go by far. About 2 months back I made a comprehensive claim for damage that was done to my vehicle. Their claims department was incredible as well inspection was quick easy and they gave me a fair amount for the damage that was caused. I would give a 6 star rating if I could! Where exactly should I start!? My agent, aka my personal insurance guy, is Jason Depuy. He has been a saint for me. since my first inquiry for an insurance quote about 2 years ago to today he has been so incredibly attentive. He was always followed up on any inquiries I've had without being too pushy. I first just wanted to check rates but wasn't necessarily ready to actually make a move to another insurance carrier. It did take some talking into and lots of calls and emails back and forth before I did switch. Making the switch was done seamlessly and was so simple thanks to him. When I didn't have time to talk I knew I could email him and all would be answered. I just emailed him what I currently had and said, "match this and tell me what it will cost." I'm busy with work and my two boys so I have been a bit of a flake returning calls and such as well as sort of made Jason work under MY terms, but he never bats an eye. (I'm sure I've been annoying as all hell but he never leads me to believe that!) Most recently he has been helping me with all that goes along with being in an accident and buying a new car. I called his office and bout near died when I was told Jason wasn't there!! I needed MY personal insurance guy! However, I was taken care of very well by the agent who answered the phone:) I received the name and number of the claims adjuster who would be handling my claim and was told to contact the claims adjuster should I have any questions. When I had questions I called Jason (like a bad claimant) and asked him. I knew I had a "claims adjuster" but it wasn't MY insurance guy. Jason never once told me, " hey that's not actually my job" "I don't handle that stuff, call your adjuster" he just answered my questions like it was nothing. If there was something that perhaps he didn't have access to he did refer me to the adjuster but only if he could not find the answer for me. He's been such a great help! He even answers my calls with , "Hey Elise." He probably has caller ID but I like to think I just bug him so much he has my number committed to memory now! He never has to ask me how to spell my name, DOB or any other identifying questions and it's that kind of service that makes him so GREAT! read more

How am I the first person writing a review for Michelle and her team?!? I started with State Farm when I first got my driver's license. I am from Central Illinois and moved to SF area in 2005. I was forced to leave my local IL agent and find someone out this way. Through google searches and referrals, I stumbled across Michelle's predecessor, Denny Horack. When he retired, Michelle took over. At first, I wasn't sure what to expect. I chose Denny for a reason. I felt comfortable with him. How was this person going to work out? I am blown away satisfied with the service I've received from Michelle and her team. I have never had a bunch of strangers I've never met willing to go so far to help me out. Every time I call their office, no matter who answers the phone, they are always willing to get me anything I need. I have had some bad luck with a recently purchased vehicle. There is a paint defect with the car, despite it being only 8 months old. The manufacturer has refused to address the issue, so I called State Farm just to see what alternatives they could suggest. Right away, Michelle's team jumped in to help. They set me up with body shops in SF to get estimates/opinions. Michelle filed a claim right away and had an inspector out to see my car in no time. Additionally, whenever I've needed some documentation, she's been quick with a response. I am most likely one of her highest-maintenance customers, so I appreciate her patience. The situation I'm dealing with isn't straight forward or cut and dry. There's a lot of moving parts and Michelle and her team have been great trying to help me fill in the cracks. I have always had excellent luck with State Farm. Since I was 16, they have been a safety net for me. If you want to get your insurance through a gecko, or that freaky looking gal Flo, go ahead. I guarantee the service you get from Michelle and State Farm will far exceed any potential cost savings you might get from those other insurance companies. Like the commercials, Michelle is always there. Maybe not with a sandwich or a hot tub, but then again, I've never asked. read more

A few months ago I decided to buy life insurance for my adult children (as a gift to them,) and I offered to help my son with his car insurance. We contacted Jason Depuy at this State Farm location and he was able to help us immensely. He is very good on educating the consumer about the products available which helped us make the best choice. In addition he reviewed paperwork we received from the car dealership (when we were setting up the car insurance.) Not only did he save us about $4,000 by pointing out some unnecessary purchases made at the dealership ( we were still within the timeframe to cancel,) he also let us know that we could save even more money by refinancing the car loan through State Farm.
