Since then, we've been trying to CONTACT the specialist to make this arrangement but have not been able to due to holiday closings and his severely limited hours of operation. Now, it looks like it'll be MONTHS more before she can finally get her tooth. UN-fortunately I have a good amount of bone loss, and even some gum disease- that caused this current infection. SMOKING and COFFEE have had a poor effect on my 61 year old mouth. I was prescribed an antibiotic and advised on some better hygiene methods that would improve my gum health. I was never made to feel dirty or dumb! Though of course I need to stop smoking! I made an appointment for a cleaning-(it was so affordable I was angry I waited!) By the time my cleaning came around, the infection was healed. But the true highlight WAS my cleaning. The technician was professional and really took the effort to explain things and to make sure I was comfortable. She took the extra effort to really clean even my most coffee stained lower front teeth. I was worried the lady's hands would get tired! Third, he is far more experienced with Invisalign than any other orthodontist in the Binghamton area and he even explained how they are the preferred method for aligning my teeth when other docs said that Invisalign would never even work on my teeth. Overall, I could not be more happy. He has two offices. One in Binghamton and one in Endicott and NO they are not big fancy plush offices with game rooms and espresso machines and bubble gum flavored latex exam gloves. Hallelujah!
