They helped restore my teeth after years of bad dental work and neglect. I was able to prevent root canals and pulling teeth- they fixed my fillings and got me on a good at home routine to maintain. The Doctor & employees at the office are focused and good at what they do. Much more time efficient than any other dentist I've been to and they work quickly. They are very up front about costs and what insurance covers. My husband and I had to switch insurance this year after layoffs. We selected our new health insurance based off of what insurance Kew Gardens dental accepts- we do not want to have to go anywhere else! Thank you!

I am convinced that they charge everyone for a deep cleaning and pretend it's urgent. Time and money wasted to be made uncomfortable. NEVER AGAIN....A HUGE REGRET. There are many better offices in Queens that make sure their patients are comfortable and informed. Totally demeaning, profit-driven and unprofessional. Regardless of personal circumstances, it's important to remain professional and respectful, especially when dealing with patients. I'm sharing this feedback because this kind of interaction is not acceptable! I hope this is addressed appropriately, whether through additional training or other action, as to be treated with respect. And of course, I immediately canceled the appointment. After being treated that way over the phone, there is no chance I would feel comfortable visiting the office in person. The owner responded to my review on Google saying I am "not a patient of record." That is correct, because I was calling as a new patient to schedule an appointment for my son. My review is specifically about how I was treated during that initial phone call. Being a new patient does not justify being spoken to rudely, which is why I chose not to proceed with the appointment.

When I got home and looked, my gums were purple from bleeding!!! and super irritated, I tried my best not to be rude there but next time I'll put my self first. This is unacceptable. He made sure he did everything possible to save the tooth and explained all my options before I had any work done He made it his priority to make sure that I was comfortable and had no pain at all. Dr. Grillo is the best!!! Even though the tooth was badly damaged, he referred me to one of the best Oral Surgeons , Dr. Cardo, where I was given all my options for the best outcome. I chose to have it removed and replaced within the next six months with a post and an implant. Dr. Cardo and his staff also are amazing and made sure I had no pain or discomfort. I asked how much is the price range to remove one wisdom tooth. over the phone they told me 400-600 which is about what I expected. when I get to the appointment they tried to tell me there was a 100 dollar fee as well. I let them know that I was told different on the phone. so the front desk girl says ok so they won't charge me the 100. she walks out the room and comes back and says if I pay the 100 then the wisdom tooth will only be 600 to remove. I told them no because that's 700 and reminded them on the phone I was told different. so again they wave the fee. the dentist comes in looks at my tooth and says it might be complicated . so right there I was expecting to pay the 600 not the 400. I ask the dentist how much I'm looking at and he says he does not make the prices the front desk does. ok no problem. the front desk girls come back in and tell me the DENTIST said it's going to be 800 dollars! I told them that's outrageous and that Im not paying that and I start to get out of the chair. They then proceeded to follow me out asking me what's the most I'm willing to pay!? well if it was up to me I wouldn't pay ? but of course I said the 600 that was agreed upon during the earlier phone conversation. and I just get a smirk and a head nod from these two young desk girls. I never left a review in my life but I'm in so much pain from my wisdom tooth and was counting down the minutes till I clock out of work and make it to the appointment to get it removed, just to basically get into a back and fourth about a price that was already talked about on the phone.
