They are open on Saturdays for COVID Rapid test. $85 and they are very efficient not much waiting. You get tested and wait in your car for 15min for the results.

Review: My UTI-tinerary to Recovery…read more Let me tell y'all about my recent trip--not to the Bahamas, not to Paris--but to the oh-so-romantic destination known as Urgent Care. So my back started throwing shade and not in a "girl, you carried the team all weekend" kind of way. We're talkin' more like "your kidneys are protesting your life choices" kind of ache. And then my stomach joined the drama, all tender and whiny--not because my man cooked me a candlelit dinner and gave me butterflies, but because apparently my insides were staging a full-blown rebellion. Naturally, I sashayed into urgent care like the classy, hydrated queen I try to be--and within minutes, the pee parade revealed its ugly truth: UTI, possibly flirting with a kidney infection. The audacity. Now let's be clear--I'm newly engaged. We're still deep in the honeymoon phase. The last thing I need is a do not enter sign posted at the love shack. So I looked that nurse practitioner dead in the eye and said, "Listen, we need to fix this real quick. My garage is hot, and my man's got valet energy." She nodded with a knowing smile that said, "Say less." Cue the miracle antibiotics--a short-term lease on life for my bacteria, and a fast pass back to the Tunnel of Love. Would I recommend this urgent care? Absolutely. Efficient, empathetic, and fully supportive of getting me back to... functionality. 10/10, would let them tune up my transmission anytime. In summary: Crisis averted. Romance resumed. Bladder betrayed me, but love prevails.

This is the worst physicians offices I've ever been to. The people at the front desk actually…read morecanceled my appointment without telling me so that I drove all the way up there for no reason. They made me jump through so many hoops about my insurance card and refused to do anything to help me. The provider,a physicians assistant, Chris volturo, is not a good provider, has no communication skills, doesn't care about you as a person or patient, and for a man is very spiteful. Once I saw enough of this individuals character, I determined that I would not be returning there to see him again, and I found a new doctor with haste. So really it's a moot point, but I'll disseminate it to you anyway. I think this guy retaliated against me for leaving a review a truthful review on google, because out of the blue I received a letter saying he couldn't be my provider. It has been like a month or more since I saw him last, and the only thing I can think of is that he didn't like the review I left but I'm not going to pull any punches when it comes to telling the truth. So I guess in his mind he was retaliating against me by terminating our provider "patient relationship" and cutting me off my blood pressure medicines in an attempt to put me in bad health. That's not the type of person I want to be my doctor LOL I don't know about you. I guess it's lucky for me Pensacola is filled with good doctors... Like the doctor I was seeing before him at the same office. A woman, that was a good doctor to me for a long time and cared about my health and quality of life. I don't understand why this prior doctor and I had a good patient provider relationship for so long until she quit that office, but Mr volturo was not capable of doing the same, which I find perplexing. I've never experienced something such as this with any provider in my life, but maybe it's me!! Maybe I'm too straightforward for him to fathom. Once you see a person has a character flaw, is passive-aggressive, hides behind everything and gets everyone to try to fight his battles for him, you don't really want them to be near you, much less in charge of your health care. All you have to do is sit back and watch people and they'll betray their weaknesses to you. Health Care providers are no different. Like I said I've never experienced this with a healthcare provider before, but if you live long enough you'll see everything lol. Most providers I've dealt with have been good stand up men or women that tell it like it is. There are plenty of other fine providers around Pensacola that will not treat you like this guy or his staff will. I mean the dude is attempting to deny me my blood pressure medicines by canceling my prescriptions so that my blood pressure will go up. So basically this guy would rather see me die of a cardiac event due to uncontrolled blood pressure than be forthright with a patient. If one thing is true is that these people do not take Baptist mission statement seriously, and I was not treated with dignity and respect here, as the Baptist mission statement says I should be. I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm not one of these people that takes crap from every Tom Dick and Harry and I tell it like it is. I don't pull any punches when I'm telling the truth about my experiences and I don't care who likes it. I'm just being honest, and I know that people wont choose not to go to this place because of my review but when they get there and they're treated badly maybe they'll think of it.

Very shortly after that the Triage Nurse called me in and my vitals were taken, then I was asked to have a seat in the waiting room because they were full. I went back to the waiting room at 8:50pm at which time I was taken back to a "FAST TRAK" room. Trust me......that was no "FAST TRAK". I could hear the doctor in other rooms but by 10pm when no one even bothered to check in on me, I left. I even asked the nurses if the door I was pointing to was the way out and they responded yes. I was checked in-YES I was triaged-YES I was NEVER treated medically by a nurse or doctor!!! I am still having issues and will seek medical care elsewhere due to the treatment I received at this location. And.....I don't expect to receive a bill for treatment I NEVER received. I went to that location because I have had stellar service there previously. I'm not sure what has happened to make this experience so BAD. It is BROKE and they desperately need to FIX IT !!! If you do manage to get them on the phone, they are rude, confusing in their explanations, and quick to cancel your appointments and hang up on you. I have had payment for procedures denied by my insurance provider because the authorizations department submitted incorrect codes. The staff doesn't provide any reason for the denial or try to appeal the denial on your behalf. I find out about the incorrect codes as the reason for the denial by contacting my insurance provider. I find out about appealing the denial by contacting my insurance provider. I am told by my insurance provider that the authorization staff has to submit the appeal on my behalf. (Good luck with that!) In addition, I have had procedures that I scheduled a month or two in advance cancelled by the staff a week before my procedure because they waited until then to tell me my referral is expired or incorrect. That's not enough notice to do anything about it. Why not tell me when I make the appointment? Why not tell me even a week after I make the appointment? It is cruel to me to wait for them to get their act together when I am in pain and need some relief. I have had to self pay for procedures due to their incompetence. No one should have to deal with this level of stress and stupidity. Everyone claims they "aren't the one" who talked to me on the phone or submitted the wrong codes or didn't see the expired referral. This is their job but there is no accountability on their part.
